After viewing several venues The Ridge fit our budget and desires for an indoor reception space and outdoor ceremony space. They were flexible when we had to change our wedding date due to COVID-19 and accommodated rentals we brought in. The venue is best for couples that want to pay a flat fee and have everything included as they provide everything you need to make your day complete!

We had the absolute best experience working with the team at Jefferson Street Mansion! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. Kaitlin, our day-of coordinator, is an absolute joy to work with! She was incredible—organized, professional, and so patient with our guests, families, and my husband and me. She took the stress off our shoulders and made sure every detail ran smoothly, all while having a smile on her face. We had a blast at each of our meetings and we credit that to the wonderful ladies of Jefferson, Kathy and Sophia. Their joyful personalities made the planning process so much more enjoyable, and their great communication helped us feel at ease the entire way through. They truly listened to our vision and brought it to life even better than we imagined. Thanks to Kaitlin, Sophia, and Kathy, our wedding day was seamless, beautiful, and full of joy. We can’t thank them enough for their professionalism, patience, and dedication. Highly recommend this amazing team to any couple looking for coordinators who will not only execute your dream day but also make the process fun and stress-free!

If you’re considering having your wedding at Wine & Roses, look no further! After looking at many venues in-person/online, we immediately knew W&R was right for us after seeing the beautiful grounds and meeting the sales manager, Charina. She made us feel right at home and made booking our wedding easy. After signing our contract, we met with our assigned wedding coordinator, Eloisa. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Eloisa and what an incredible wedding coordinator she is. From the moment we met her, she listened and gave advice to tailor the venue’s services to exactly what we wanted our wedding ceremony/reception to look and feel like. She is so on-top of her planning game and executed our wedding to a “t”. Eloisa worked fabulously with me, my husband, difficult family members, many vendors, and the in-house W&R team. Everything on our wedding day and leading up to it was simply effortless. All staff members that we interacted with during our ceremony/reception/cafe/hotel were so professional and accommodating. Wine & Roses went above and beyond for us, reflecting that you get what you pay for. Having our wedding there wasn’t cheap, but it was really worth every penny. I reached out to the community (via Folsom chat) regarding venue suggestions for my husband’s 50th. Lake Natoma Inn was commented on over 20x. We looked at three other local venues and Lake Natoma Inn came in first place by a long shot! Look no further, this is your place for any event. The location, parking situation, pricing, food, package inclusions, and customer service is second to none. Cait was our coordinator and we are grateful for her. We had a vision for a “Mobster Themed Party, and she did not disappoint. We navigated seating, colors, lighting and a corresponding menu with Cait. The final product was a huge success. Many out of town guests stayed the night at the hotel. We will refer and use this venue location again in the future!

We had a wonderful wedding day at this venue! The price was lower than many other venues we looked at, and the beautiful outdoor property with flowers and towering redwood trees made for an incredible backdrop. Set up and break down were completely handled by the staff, so I didn’t have to lift a finger on the big day. The team was friendly and professional, and while communication could be slow at times, they eventually answered all our questions. One of the best parts is that their package includes food, cake, linens, and bar service—making it easy to plan everything in one place. Overall, a great experience and a gorgeous setting for our wedding.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of working at Magari Estate several times, and it’s truly one of my favorite venues in Northern California. Every single time I photograph here, I’m reminded why it stands out above the rest. The property is a dream to shoot, with rolling golden hills, gorgeous landscapes, and that signature California light filtering through the oak trees. Every corner of the estate feels intentionally designed for the guest experience. From the beautiful ceremony area nestled beneath the oaks to the open-air reception space, charming barn, and the unique circular bar that always becomes a guest favorite, there are endless backdrops that make each wedding feel unique. Beyond the scenery, what truly sets Magari Estate apart is the venue team. They are some of the kindest, most organized, and genuinely supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. They go above and beyond to ensure their couples and vendors feel cared for from start to finish. Communication is always smooth, timelines are thoughtfully managed, and there’s such a calm, welcoming energy that flows through every event. If you’re a couple searching for a breathtaking Northern California venue or a vendor hoping to work alongside wonderful people in a truly photogenic location, Magari Estate is an absolute gem. Five stars all the way.

We got married at Scribner Bend in May 2025 and it was a dream from start to finish! Scribner Bend was the only venue we visited during our wedding planning process because we felt so pleased with the beauty, charm, pricing, and process they offered. We were especially pleased by how much was included in the venue package that we didn’t have to coordinate separately, like lighting, tables, and chairs. Shaye was an absolute delight to work with and we always felt cared for. As a queer couple, it was so nice to feel welcomed and accepted by Scribner Bend and all of their preferred vendors we spoke with. May was the perfect time to be there, the white roses on the arches were in bloom which complemented the rest of our florals beautifully. Our whole day flowed so smoothly thanks to Deija, our day-of planner provided by Scribner Bend, and all of the rest of the staff. All of our guests were so complimentary of the wine, the setting, and the flow of the evening. We really could not have wished for a better venue experience. We also want to note, Paesanos was an exceptional caterer! I know some might be concerned with not having a choice of caterer but we found it to be a relief (one less vendor to coordinate) and Paesanos did a fantastic job. Rain was amazing at communication, and Diana was wonderful to work with on the day. They even packed up a couple of containers of leftovers for us to go home with. Thank you, Scribner Bend, for being an excellent venue!

My 5 star review is ONLY because of Jackie Mendoza & the day of service provided by the Vizcaya staff - please read!! I got married at the Vizcaya on Sunday, September 14, 2025. I believe I booked the venue in early January, so I had about 9 months to plan our wedding. What my husband and I loved about the venue right from the jump was seperate bridal & groom suites with personal bathrooms/showers, and 3 seperate areas to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Of course, you can use any of these areas if you choose, but we chose to use all three for the day of our wedding. The venue is also a perfect mix of indoor/outdoor, and the package comes with a coordinator. Unfortunately, our first coordinator (Andrea) left the company and quit on us about 3 months before the wedding. Although this was difficult to hear, she was professional and let me know ahead of time and that the company would reach out to me to connect me with my new coordinator. With a little back and forth, I finally got in contact with my new coordinator (Alexa) who at the time I was excited to work with. I could tell she was overwhelmed which was understandable due to her having to take on multiple new clients right before their wedding day. Unfortunately, she also decided to leave the company but she did NOT notify me. She left the company around 8/1/25, but did not let me know. I had texted/emailed her about 5 times since then, and did not find out until 8/15/25 that she quit. I even reached out to the venue as well. This is when I received a email from Jackie Mendoza. From the very beginning, she was quick to respond, knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and EXTREMELY professional. I met her in person less than 1 month from my big day, which caused alot of anxiety and stress. After our first in person meeting, I immediately felt relieved. I could tell Jackie was passionate about her job and would do everything in her power to make our special day come to life. Her and I worked through every detail, and although we were on a time crunch, she did it with a smile on her face the whole time. I could tell she was genuinely excited for my husband and I. The day of our wedding at the Vizcaya went perfect! Obviously there were little things here and there, but nothing could take away from how amazing the day went. Our family and friends were amazed by how beautiful the venue was, the flow of the day, and how detailed and thought out everything was. All the details I wanted, all the behind the scenes, this all happened thanks to Jackie. I remember looking at my husband during the middle of our reception and saying “Wow, today is the best day ever”. Everything went smooth and we were both in pure bliss. The staff was phenomenal day of wedding! The drinks were coming out quick, and the food service went great! Everyone received their meals on time and quickly, I could see the servers were bussing the tables as soon as possible. Everyday, I look back on my wedding day which happened a little over 3 weeks ago, and just think “Wow, I miss that day” because it was that beautiful. Yes, there were multiple hiccups leading up to the wedding. But once Jackie Mendoza became our coordinator, that’s when my anxiety dropped and everything started coming to life. I really hope she stays with the company, and that Vizcaya appreciates her, because she turned my whole experience around. This review definitely would have gone a different way if it wasn’t for her. The venue is beautiful, classic, and timeless, as long as they keep up their services, I would recommend this venue to anyone. It’s all inclusive, and I appreciated their open bar/BYOB type policy- this is something that definitely made them stick out from other venues we looked at. I am super sad my wedding is over, but I am so happy with how it went. Thank you Jackie & the Vizcaya!!!

We're wedding florists, and we loved working at Library Galleria. The staff is incredibly professional and the venue itself is beautiful. It was a pleasure to create floral arrangements in such a lovely setting!

Where do we even begin? This venue and their staff are deserving of 5++ stars in every category. The grounds are stunning, the food is phenomenal, and their customer service and professionalism are unmatched. We had been warned about how stressful wedding planning can be, but we genuinely never felt any stress throughout the entire process and we owe that all to Christina. She is so prompt and thorough with all communication, and everything we planned together was executed flawlessly. We had so much fun planning and are so grateful to Catta Verdera’s staff for making our vision reality. Christina, Alex, and Trish were attentive to our needs and they worked so calmly and professionally, we never would have known if anything went awry. The events of the day flowed seamlessly and our guests were well taken care of. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day thanks to the best team coordinating everything for us perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!
