Christa was such a great help and ensured our vision of our wedding was executed perfectly! The food, the drinks, the venue itself was all amazing! Honestly, I recommend this venue whenever I can for any event. Price is great for what you get, AND in the heart of downtown.

Professional. Treated my guests well. Flexible. But the food served was okay, the beef was delicious, the chicken was dry and didn’t have much flavor. The hordourves were good, carrots were under cooked. Was expecting better food served at dinner at 132$ a person. Would still recommend but ask for food samples first.

As a vendor, I can’t say enough good things about River Yurt Village. The Open House Mixer & Ribbon Cutting was an absolute blast and a true reflection of the heart behind this place. From the glowing pavilion and cozy yurt interiors to the incredible energy from the Bandera County Chamber, neighbors, and guests — everything was done right. The setting along the Medina River is stunning, the experience is thoughtfully curated, and the team genuinely cares about creating memorable moments. The title of this review doesn't even scratch the surface. When we first started looking, we had the Menger high on our list due to the role it played in our relationship (our first stay vacation!) and how beautiful it is. I was elated to find out how responsive, helpful, creative, and kind the team at the Menger is. They answered my (many, many) questions promptly and thoroughly. I never felt confused by the process or like I would be blindsided. They were up front about everything and willing to work with me on different ideas. The pricing is also a really strong point here, as it is well priced and well worth the cost. Leading up to the wedding, the team took care of so much and were so flexible with letting us into the rooms early to set up, and even changing some of the decorations that day because yes, they have items like charger plates and candle sticks already there! They helped with signage for the cocktails and direction plaues in the hotel, and they even made sure they had ingrediants for our signautre cocktails on hand. They made the whole experience so easy and fun and I really can't recommend them more. It's a beautiful space, with so much character, and the whole team, from the catering planning department to the servers to the bartenders to even the kind people at the front desk made it such a wonderful experience. Weddings are hard and kind of a mess to plan, but this is one decision that can be easy to make. Happy planning!

My husband and I got so many compliments on the venue. It was very scenic, Peaceful and extremely beautiful!

We recently had our wedding at the Dominion Country Club, and I would highly recommend it. Monica did a great job with wedding coordination, taking a lot of stress off of the planning process and day of the wedding details. The wait staff did a great job making sure the evening was seamless, and the food was delicious. It is a beautiful venue, and exceeded all of our expectations!

We immediately fell in love with the place! They have two gorgeous waterfalls and the best coordinators! They were always so quick to respond and help! We have no regrets with our decision.  For 200 people it was around $23,000 including the drink package! It was a buffet but that’s optional and they have cheaper food options.

I could write a novel about how seamless and perfect the Sheraton Gunter was for our wedding. First and foremost, EVERYONE: David (wedding coordinator), front desk receptionists, valet, were all exceptional! The transition from Tina (former wedding coordinator) to David Puente was nothing but easy. The Sheraton went above and beyond for our family during our planning process. They were all so helpful and amazing. Now the day of our wedding was magical. The Crystal ballroom was my exact vision for our wedding. The servers were all so kind and attentive. Everything was just what I hoped it would be. Now lastly, why I would recommend the Sheraton Gunter to any upcoming bride out there is my husband forgot in the honeymoon suite an envelope of A LOT of money (cash and check). The next day we called and they were able to find it. We were thinking it will probably be either an empty envelope or just the checks. To our surprise, EVERYTHING was in there. So that just shows the Sheraton Gunter have an amazing staff from every department. We loved our experience with the Sheraton Gunter and cannot recommend them and David Puente enough!

We toured the facility and it is beautiful! Extremely helpful and informative. Love all the art and the flexibility of the spaces!
