We stumbled on the 108 Budleigh while perusing through venues online and immediately fell in love with it. Working with Allison was easy and straightforward which was necessary since we were planning our wedding sight unseen from across the country. Allison was great with allowing our photographer in to check out the venue to look at lighting beforehand and with making sure that we had everything we needed. We chose to pay to get in a day early and were happy that we did because it was extremely relaxed. The space is bright and open with separate spaces that all blended together in a way that made it easy to use for a ceremony and reception. We loved the simple elegance of the 108 Budleigh and were extremely happy with the wedding!

Miha is the best person to work with, she made our wedding painless and a night to remember.

Whalehead was our dream venue. We hosted an 180 person outdoor wedding in May 2024 and we had the time of our lives! We got really lucky with temperate weather, had our ceremony on the Point outdoors, a perfect cocktail hour under the trees off the west porch of the building, and a massive dinner and dancing reception under a huge tent on the North Lawn with Corolla Light in the background. Whalehead was super accomodating and responsive throughout the entire process - big shoutout to Samantha Payne and Chris Hooper! They made sure we had all the permits we need and were so helpful as we worked to organize our various on site vendors for the big day. We had a few folks who required special care and transport and Chris and the golf cart were a wonderful addition to the day. We cannot wait to come back and renew our vows here someday or just visit and take some pictures :)

This venue could not have been more perfect for our wedding! The setting was PHENOMENAL! Laurie, Vicky, and Tim were a dream to work with for our guests and for set up info. Our photos with the property as the backdrop (by Jessie Walker) are just incredible and the setting on the grounds of this home could not have been more of a true dream. Highly recommend for a quaint wedding with a beautiful setting on the water

Vista Creek is truly a magical place to get married. We fell in love with the location on our first tour—a secluded, private oasis overlooking the Roanoke Sound as far as the eye can see. It offered the perfect blend of nature, elegance, and serenity that we were looking for. Beyond the stunning location, the service was excellent. We worked with Courtney for over a year; while her process is very structured, it is necessary for the flawless execution of such a high-quality venue. Additionally, the bartending team was fantastic, serving up delicious signature cocktails that our guests loved. If you want a venue that offers bar-none views and professional management, this is it!

As the mother of the bride, it is my hope and dream to give my daughter the wedding of her dreams and The Inner Banks Inn exceeded my and my daughter and son-in-laws expectations. Even when we found out that we had to move the original wedding date because my son-in-law got deployed, the venue was great and understood the situation and moved the date with no problems. The venue was beautiful and Susan, Casey, Shannon and all the staff went above and beyond to make the whole wedding experience totally stress free. The food was absolutely phenomenal and every guest raved about it. The chef is fabulous and made a beautiful cake and cupcakes and since we had Beauty and the Beast theme, we asked if they could make "The Grey Stuff" and once I found a recipe and sent pictures, she was able to make it" for us! It was delicious! Susan was very attentive asking if we needed anything and how everything was during the reception. Every request we made during the wedding weekend, Casey, Shannon or any staff went above and beyond to accommodate. Shannon even called to tell me they found a garment bag in my daughter's room after we had checked out, and they sent it back to me. I can't say enough great things about this venue. By the end of the weekend, everyone felt like family and was so comfortable and nice to talk with. If you are considering this venue for your wedding, I highly recommend it. There was no detail left out and I didn't even have to think about or worry about anything for the ceremony or reception. Susan and her staff took care of everything. It was the wedding of my daughter's dreams and we couldn't be more pleased! It was perfect!

We absolutely loved the Sanderling. While we booked almost 2 years in advance, we did have a few coordinator changes throughout the time, Kathy took care of us the 2 weeks leading up to and the day of the wedding, and was absolutely phenomenal! We did a tasting of the food on a visit there a year prior to our wedding, and the food tasted just as we remembered on the day of the wedding. The service staff was wonderful and really took care of everyone. The drinks were great too!

I can not begin to describe just how wonderful our experience with both Sanctuary Vineyards & Brooke Mayo Photographers was. We had the delight of hosting both our daughters weddings here & having Candace Owens with Brooke as our photographer. Both John and Candace went above and beyond to ensure that both weddings were completely different and unique to both of the brides and groom’s personalities. The 1st May 2015 & the second Oct 2021. With our youngest daughter‘s wedding it was during the time of Covid. Both John and Brooke were an amazing source of support for a frantic bride! After 2 dates were set & postponed the 3rd was perfect. The extended staff, including Eldon, the EXCELLENT wedding day coordinator and the vineyard workers were beyond helpful & kind. For one of the most important & memorable days of your life I highly recommend the use of both Sanctuary Vineyards & Brooke Mayo Photographers!

Absolutely amazing staff. Kourtney was so responsive and on top of things for our wedding and reception. Everything was perfect and they were in our budget. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have our wedding ceremony and reception.

Jennette’s Pier was the perfect backdrop for our wedding — breathtaking, meaningful, and well managed. Jenny Ash and her team were communicative and supportive from our first visit through the final send‑off. When storm adjustments threatened outdoor timing, they helped us with backup plans to move everything inside seamlessly. On the day, everything ran smoothly: seating, access, lighting, transitions — and guests kept complimenting the venue itself. We loved every minute there.
