I initially did not want to have a wedding with a barn reception. However, after coming to the venue it was quite clear that this was not a regular Kentucky barn. Once you walk inside it looks like a gorgeous venue as it is! There was no detail left unnoticed. It was a wonderful and amazing experience being surrounded by a beautiful house, land, and amazing barn. You will not be disappointed.

07.23.22 - Definitely the absolute best venue to have a wedding! From the consultation to wedding day, the experience with Lakeside Reflections is something I’ll always remember and enjoy. Kathy made the wedding planning process completely stress free and easy! She is the wedding expert and someone you can lean on! Dean (DJ and Officiant) was the best and made the day just flow with his expertise at the mic. The food was amazing and my wedding guest still talk about it. My wedding guest absolutely enjoyed their time and was amazed by the Museum. Hands down the absolute best place! Photography by Adya Marie Photography!

Farmington Historic Plantation is a gorgeous venue, even when it rains 3.48” on your wedding day! The carriage house was a perfect place to get ready and take impromptu family photos. We had so many compliments on the venue and how beautiful the pavilion was. I’d have it there again in a heartbeat!

My experience with Griffin Gate was wonderful. From the beginning their staff has always been very responsive and able to answer any of my questions. For the kind of venue that this is, I feel like they are fairly priced and they include a lot of incentives. Originally, we were only holding our reception at Griffin Gate, but about a month and a half out from our wedding we asked if we could have our reception there as well due to our church not being able to host the amount of guests that we had due to Covid. Griffin Gate was under fewer restrictions and allowed us to have our entire wedding at their venue. They made this process seamless. One of my favorite things about the planning process with Griffin Gate is the tasting event that they hold. Their food is absolutely scrumptious and they have out a lot of examples for various reception items. The tasting was very helpful and reenergized me about our planning process. Due to Covid there were some slight changes, but overall we were able to have the wedding that we wanted. Jenna and Paige were fantastic, and very helpful. Jenna almost always answered my emails very quickly and responded to everything that I touched upon in the emails. She made the last few weeks of planning very smooth, and always kept me in the loop. I would highly recommend this venue!

The Olmsted was nothing short of perfection for our wedding. After having planned everything with Jeri and her staff for a 220 person wedding in May 2020, we abruptly had to cancel our plans and reschedule because of COVID. We rescheduled for August 2020 and eventually had to reduce the number of guests to 50. Jeri was absolutely amazing to work with through all of this. She spent countless hours with us answering all of our questions, letting us pick an entirely new menu and bar package, and making sure our wedding was going to safe for our guests and overall COVID friendly. The day of, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They constantly made sure I had everything I needed (but not in an annoying way!) and I had many guests tell me how much they loved the bartender. This was truly the perfect venue for our wedding!

Trish and Patty were amazing and the venue is absolutely stunning!!

Carmen, Allie and Herbie were great! Carmen is who we dealt with the most and she made sure our wedding was perfect. The bartenders were awesome and everyone had a great time. Food was excellent!!!

Highly recommend having your wedding at The Brown! From start to finish, Jodi, Cameron and Lucy were always available to answer our (many) questions over the several months of planning. The day itself went off without a hitch, allowing myself, my fiance and our families to just enjoy the day. The crystal ballroom is stunning (the carpet helps absorb a lot of the sound, helping the event not feel as loud) and the service is fantastic. I loved that we had multiple rooms plus the hallway on the second floor, allows your guests to spread out and chat with friends and family if they don't feel like dancing. Having my wedding here took a lot of the logistical stress out of our day. Happiest day of my life!

We had our ceremony and reception here and it was beautiful and perfect. Their event staff are all so helpful and do all they can to ensure your day is amazing.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff were great. Tori was understanding, flexible, extremely helpful, and accommodating. She was wonderful to work with!
