  Zelle & Jerry Olson are a fantastic pair and a perfect videographer company for our wedding celebration. My husband and I could not have chosen a better vendor to put together the most awesome & memorable wedding video; including our complete highlights video and our entire wedding day festivities for the best price. They were so professionalism and so wonderful to work with. They were so outstanding on the day of. They showed up on time and delivered our videos earlier than what we expected. Now we have a wedding video to watch over and over again and share with all our friends and family.

  Videographer Captures Every Special Moment of a Beautiful Day

  Is it true that "A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words? It is if you have Jerry Dallons Photography and Zelle Olson Studio as the photographer/ videographer team at your wedding.
  
  This husband-and-wife dynamic duo were wonderful to work with at our daughter's wedding in May 2018 at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. They and their assistant, Bill, were with us all day -- 10 hours-- taking pictures and video at the Spanish Garden Inn where we dressed, as we walked several blocks on the streets of Santa Barbara to the venue, just prior to and during the ceremony, and afterwards, for the cocktail hour, reception, and dancing. The cameras and video mics were hidden during the ceremony, and they did not disrupt any part of the day, whether it was during the solemnity of the exchange of vows or the fun celebration on the dance floor. Our guests and the vendors told my husband and me how much they enjoyed working with them. We were never aware of Jerry and Zelle doing their magic except during the posed family and bridal party photos.
  
  And what magic it was!! Our family and friends have raved about the exquisite photos (which we received from Jerry in about 10 days, with some highlight photos available in a week) and the fun video (which we received from Zelle in less than three weeks, with some highlight ones available in one week). Jerry was meticulous in touching up the 600+ photos so the colors and lighting were exactly right, and Zelle's editing of the 26-minute video captured all the important sounds and sights the day.
  Jerry has posted five photos from our daughter's wedding on his website, and each is a gem.
  
  Their fee was extremely reasonable, and they honored their agreement with us, which was conducted over the phone and by email. My husband and I live in Virginia, the bride and groom live in New York City, and the wedding was in California, so it was only possible for Jerry and Zelle to meet with the bride and groom and his family once about four months before the wedding. They connected right away. I "met" Jerry only over the phone several times during the planning process and then greeted him and Zelle in person the morning of the wedding. Yet, I never doubted my decision to have them photograph and video our only daughter's wedding. During our phone conversations, he fully outlined the services he and Zelle would provide, and boy, did they deliver an amazing product!
  
  Truly, their magnificent pictures and superlative video are worth more than a mere 1,000 words, which cannot begin to describe the beautiful keepsakes Jerry Dallons and Zelle Olson produced for us of our daughter's wedding. Don't hesitate for a moment to hire this remarkable and personable team.

  When I chose to hire Zelle and Jerry to video our wedding, I went off of reviews and ratings on wedding wire because I didn't know any videographer's on a personal level. Photography and videography is something that was extremely important to me, seeing that weddings go by really quickly and you just possibly can't be in every place at once. Jerry and Zelle seemed to have really great reviews, but as a bride, I was still a little nervous with my decision. When calling Zelle and Jerry, they put me at ease and made me feel extremely comfortable with my decision. They were two of the most professional people that I ever had the chance to meet. Every conversation and every concern was answered in a punctual manner. They wedding day they showed up at a very hectic time, when all of us girls were getting ready and of course running late. Zelle took a minute to talk to me to make sure I was calm. Upon getting the video footage back I was more than happy. The quality of the film was amazing and the sound blew me away. They went over and beyond anything we could have asked for, incorporating every little detail and helping us relive every moment. They even included things we never expected. It was nice to see two people fall in love as much as you did with your wedding. Looking back at the video we laughed the whole time with all the little things we never got to see. I would recommend them to anyone. They by far just gained both of our entire families business. Thanks Zelle and Jerry for videographing our most perfect day and capturing everything our heart desired. We are more than grateful for everything you have both done.

  Zelle and Jerry did an incredible job on our wedding video. They went above and beyond for us before, during and after our wedding. Honestly, when we watched the video it was more then we could have asked for…just beautiful and extremely special. They made sure to get all the moments we missed during the day. The 'Father' (Priest), more like an uncle in your case, gave a touching story during the wedding ceremony. The band was fantastic, the settings were incredible. Mission weddings are very cool IMO and Villa Toscana, what can I say, one of my top picks for a place for a reception or for that matter a place to get married, great choices! Your father is bigger than life, what a toast he gave and how about his dancing skills ........ what a hoot.   I used the Zelle and Jerry team for my wedding and got such a beautiful video!. I was so happy they were available for my daughter's third birthday party! They have an excellent eye for detai. Everyone should use them for children's birthday parties because, as you know the parents are usually running around crazy managing activities, food, crazy kids, etc. Who thinks or has time to take all the pictures and video that you would really like to have? You never get these moments back if you don't capture them in pictures or video! They truly captured the fun and crazyness of the party! I don't know how they kept up with everyone and got it all recorded! The video was excellent and will be such a wonderful momento to hand down to my daughter.

  Our son's wedding took place outdoors during a strong Santa Ana wind. We were worried about the quality of the sound but it was crystal clear and the clarity of the video was amazing.

Zelle was very responsive before our event and took care of eveything as anticipated during the wedding.   So often wedding couples don't remember what happened the day they tied the knot. Everything happens so fast and with such intensity that it's hard to remember. Many times wedding couples look at the video for the first time and say, "when did that happen." The video is fun to watch now but in 20-30-40 years from now will be priceless!   Yes our little hidden cameras are so useful when we want to capture close ups but we ourselves don't want to be 'in' the setting. We try and keep our distance as much as possible, this allows everyone there to enjoy the moment without distractions. We have 8 cameras of different sizes and abilities, we use the right camera for the task at hand. It's all about making your special day .......... special : ) Zelle & Jerry

  Zelle Olson did a fantastic job for our wedding, catching many small and big moments that my wife and I absolutely enjoy every time we play the video back. Their service before, during, and after the big day was wonderful and appreciated, and we would definitely recommend them.

  The big moments are easy to catch as you know whats coming next but many times the small moments are the most touching. I recall a wedding when the groom started to tear up. The bride and groom were facing forward in the church and no one other than the officiant could see their faces ............ oh yes, and the hidden camera ; ) The bride reached into her cleavage and took out a small tissue. She then inconspicuously handed the tissue to her man. That is just one of many small but very special moments our cameras catch at so many weddings.   Zelle and Jerry are amazing at what they do. We hired them and the whole night, we barely even noticed them. They make sure to not ruin your moments by getting in your face and we can't wait to see the end product! Excellent service and super sweet people.

  Zelle Olson productions did an amazing job! They captured the whole day so beautifully and they were very easy to work with. I am still very pleased that we chose this company.   We are glad you picked us too : ) So often wedding couples bypass having a videographer and then in hindsight wish they had. Sometimes they think, "we have a photographer so no need". The job of the photographer and videographer are very different. The photographer captures a special moment and/or places you in a pose so you look your best, you then will hang a few of those pictures on the wall. The videographer catches the event and then edits the video to tell the story of your special day. We try and capture in an unobtrusive way what happened during your wedding. Many times the most precious moments are the ones between the poses, the ones you will remember a lifetime : ) Zelle & Jerry

  Zelle has been a phenomenal artist in so many areas throughout her life. And because she is so talented in many artistic areas, so much more thought and experience goes into her videos. She is a perfectionist with an excellent eye for detail and creativity. She will never turn out a product that isn't excellent. She and Jerry are a super team providing quality, technical detail, customer service/communication, and a top rate finished product. They also are so discreet that you don't even know they are there, yet somehow they truly capture everthing important to reliving your special day.

  o Jerry and Zelle were very easy to work with. We spoke on the phone multiple times and it was obvious they have a lot of experience and industry knowledge. We met them about 6 weeks before the wedding to get to know them and to discuss our timeline for events and our hope for our photographs. They helped give us feedback on everything and always responded quickly. I really appreciated how flexible they were when our timing changed some and how they got to the venue early to be sure they were ready for our photographs (we did individual, couple, and family photographs before the wedding). We (this was also commented by our day-of coordinator, Jennie) barely knew they were there most of the time because they worked efficiently and quietly! They also were efficient with our large family photos (after the ceremony), which we appreciated so we could enjoy the cocktail hour. Finally, we got our edited photos back 3.5 weeks after the wedding, and loved them! They captured both the staged photos we wanted and candid moments! We also love that the high-resolution images are on a site for all our guests to enjoy and be able to download and print anywhere!

  Capturing good video without being intrusive is a real art. First you must have great cameras, which we do. Second, you occasionally must make a snap judgement when optimum conditions don't allow the camera to be far away. Do we intrude a bit or go for the best angle/light? We try and keep this in balance, as I said, it can be a bit tricky. We always try and film in the most unobtrusive way while still maintaining the best video quality possible under the God given conditions.

  Zelle Olson may have been the best decision when it came to planning our wedding. We knew we wanted videography and knew that it was going to be a cost - but felt we couldn’t replace this with any other option. Still pictures are great...but live video is priceless. Both Zelle and Jerry were accommodating, timely, flexible and reasonable with working within our budget. They even went beyond what our 'package' was which was very much appreciated. The quality of the sound was great and the picture quality turned out pretty good. All in all we are so glad to have hired them and would recommend them to others.

  You hit the nail on the head! Photos are great and always important but you can't replace video to capture what the still photo can't. That moment your father shares his joy while he tears up or your vows that are given to each other bring tears of joy ....... yes, the video camera catches it all. A good videographer tells the story of your special day in a visual and audible way.
