We worked with Pastor Pam, she was incredible! We reached out to her with short notice, and she was able to work our wedding into her schedule. Submitting payment was super easy. She was very kind, sweet, helpful, responsive, flexible, and just a pleasure to work with! -

Wedding - Sept. 13th, 2019
I am so glad we came across Pam and Doug in our search for officiants. Pam and Doug were prompt and responsive after our initial inquiry, providing us with script examples, prices, and available meeting times/locations. We met at a local coffee shop near our venue and immediately new Pam and Doug were who we were looking for! They are both so sincere and kind hearted – I couldn’t imagine being married by anyone else!
We were given a choice between both officiants, and initially chose Pam. She worked closely with us in designing a custom script that captured Nathan and I’s journey and personalities; adding in sarcasm that had me laughing at the altar, even when I already knew it was coming!
Unfortunately, Pam became sick the week of our wedding, and out of the goodness of her heart asked if we would be comfortable with Doug officiating. We were more than happy to accept Doug as our officiant for our big day, and he performed a beautiful ceremony! I loved that Pam also stayed to witness our big day, and thankfully she did because she saved the day by rescuing my veil that had fell off as I walked down the aisle!
Thank you Pam and Doug for joining us in holy matrimony! And for future clients: You won’t be disappointed in your decision to hire Your Best Day Ever to officiate your wedding! -

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in the services we received from Your Best Day Ever Wedding Services. Communication prior to our wedding was great and they were super accommodating to our proposed changes to the wording, which we really appreciated. However, I found it very odd that I did not meet Doug, our officiant, until I was walking down the aisle. I am not sure how early he arrived before the ceremony but he did find us and introduce himself. After the ceremony he asked us if we did a zoom call beforehand - we did not and a meeting of any kind (zoom or in person) was not offered or proposed. When I asked about the officiant attending the rehearsal (I didn’t realize they don’t usually do this) they let us know it would be an additional $250. Overall, for over $450, I don’t feel we received the value we were hoping.Your Best Day Ever Wedding Services's reply:
Hi Stephenie, we're heavy hearted to hear you were not completely thrilled with our services! We have been doing weddings since 2014 and this is a first! We are fairly new to WeddingWire (it’s only been a few years, but we worked for many years through another service where we still have 178 five-star reviews (and no negative reviews). This is because we always do our best to go above and beyond to make every couple's wedding experience becomes their "best day ever!". I do want to clarify a couple of things that you mentioned so you (and others who read your review) will understand better what the circumstances were.
The first thing I want to explain, is that we do not often go out of our local area to perform weddings. But we occasionally do agree to do so--which we did for you. But because of the extended distance (a four-hour round-trip drive in this case), you must understand (and I did explain this to you) that we do have to charge extra for weddings that are that far away—and that this would of course apply to a rehearsal because then our drive time would become eight hours—which also would include eight hours’ worth of gas that we have to pay for and consider. It also blocks off a second day on our wedding calendar where we cannot book another wedding. Yet even with all that to consider, we still agreed to accommodate your request and even offered to run the rehearsal for you as well for only $250—a real bargain to get an officiant to go that far out of their way to be accommodating. But you turned it down, which we were perfectly fine with because (after almost 500 weddings) we know our part well and because of this fact, we are only occasionally asked to attend rehearsals anyway.
The second thing I want to explain is that we are always happy to meet with couples via phone call or zoom (and occasionally in person—if they’re local) before the big day. But meetings are not a requirement on our end since we know we will be fully prepared because of the multiple correspondences we have with couples to make sure we've gone over everything (and we haven’t had a single glitch so far!). We also know that if meeting us is important to a couple, they will ask for a meeting, and of course, we will happily agree. Often couples don’t request one, and we believe this is because they feel so comfortable with all our communication exchanges as well as our many great reviews.
