I would like to take time to thank Maddie at the event center for all the help that she gave us to make Holly and Jake's wedding a complete success. Thanks for everything!

The Worthington Event Center was an awesome venue! They were very accommodating and helpful. Whenever we had questions they responded immediately. We truly enjoyed having our weddin there.

This is a beautiful venue in great shape as it is still pretty new. The staff we worked with did a fantastic job, especially the Director of Sales. She is very on top of things and responds quickly when you have questions. The only thing to be aware of is how they charge to use this space...as it is city owned, they do things a little differently than other venues and I heard from a couple caterers that they have to do a bit more work there than other places. Certainly not a negative in my book, and the event center was very accommodating and able to handle multiple "extras" that we needed, just make sure you're aware of what is and is not provided and what the associated costs are as you start booking your caterers etc. I still felt things were very reasonably priced and the service was wonderful.

Although booking this venue for a wedding reception is a pricier than other options in the area; we found it to be well worth the "investment" ~ Service was top notch/ venue was clean and well-managed and staff worked hard to make sure we were pleased with the end results. Maddy is efficient & professional as coordinator, and accompanying staff excel at what they do. The attached hotel accommodations were perfect for our out-of-town wedding guests. Would highly recommend the Event Center to friends/family.

This venue is recently new and is connected to a Comfort Suites hotel, which is great for guests who are traveling outside of the area. As a couple, they have booked us a spacious "tower suite" for 1 night stay (night of wedding) included in the price of the venue. Great location and easy to find.

Having our wedding celebration at the Worthington Event Center was the best decision we could have made. I would suggest that if you are having a Saturday wedding to not expect the center to be in tip-top shape Saturday morning, assuming there was an event on Friday night. We were told during multiple previous meetings that staff stay until early morning hours on Saturday morning, AFTER the Friday event taking down, cleaning and setting up, "We don't leave until everything is set up for the next days event," and that simply was not the case. Overall I do not regret my decision to go with this venue as it provided the look and experience I wanted for our wedding, however do not get your hopes up with how things will be set up. If you are a bride who needs everything to go perfectly and as planned this may not be the place for you especially if you intend on doing the morning decorating. I would suggest, as a bride that if you have a Saturday wedding DO NOT go help decorate in the morning, take time to yourself. Going there will only stress you out because the FIRST thing you do on your wedding day will be messy.

Maddy was amazing to work with!! She made the planning process so smooth and fun! She kept me on track! We had her make us a Snapchat filter and it was most definitely used!! So much fun! The only issue we had with them was the male manager who was pushy about getting everyone out once midnight hit, even the bartenders were basically pushing us out the door.
