The Winding Creek Team was focused and dedicated to making my daughter's wedding day dreams a reality. They were kind and attentive and truly went above and beyond my expectations. They have a ton of decor (lanterns, silk flowers, arches, votives, signs, etc) and experience helping families host weddings. I was anxious about getting everything setup and ready but Angie and Johnnie were calm and did a great job taking over the hard work and allowing me to just enjoy being the mom of the bride. And at the end of the night, the biggest task our family had to do was just load our stuff into our cars. The Winding Creek staff took care of packing and cleaning up. The whole day was magical.

Great venue and amazing staff. My wedding was amazing because of Winding Creek. They basically did everything at the rehearsal and wedding day. They were so friendly and caring. Making sure I was okay and that i would eat. They allow food trucks. We had one at our rehearsal. I tried to help set up but they took control of everything. They set up the ceremony area and reception. I had alot of decorations because my wedding was some what star wars themed but they offered alot of decorations and signs. They decorated my arbor and it looked amazing. They provided the dj, staff to serve the food, photo booth and even the clean up. They were so friendly and i ended up loving the reception setup. Everything looked amazing. They were easy to get in contact with if I had any questions. 100% recommend.

Such an awesome venue! The owners are hands-on and really put a lot of time and effort into making certain the venue is perfect for the ceremony. Don't worry about being overwhelmed, they take care of everything and there are plenty of helping hands. Karen and Mike are so accommodating, warm, and welcoming. Book now! Its all inclusive, and budget friendly!

Anyone looking for an "all-inclusive" venue, last minute, that is absolutely gorgeous, that is budget friendly, with 2 of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.... Look no further!!!! My daughter and son in law were married on 12-27-2014 here, and I only gave Karen and Michael approximately 3 weeks to prepare, with the wedding date being 2 days after Christmas. They handled everything, from the flowers, to the cake, music, my daughter's makeup, photography, and even the honeymoon was included. My daughter had specific things she liked for her bouquet, decorations, and cake, so I sent pictures to Karen, and voila, it was done, beautiful, and my daughter had exactly that!!!! They honeymooned in a gorgeous, brand new 2 bedroom cabin overlooking the water, where they were the first guests. Karen even had a list of things that the newlyweds could venture to go do, while on their honeymoon, and names of restaurants for the wedding party to eat at the night of the wedding. Karen even found us a quaint cabin for the 8 of us to stay in the night before and the night of the wedding, near the venue, since we lived out of town. Both Karen and Michael always stayed in touch closely via text and email. I didn't have to lift a finger and my daughter was extremely happy, and got her "dream wedding".... If I could gI've them 100 stars for a rating I would!!!! So if you are looking to get married for 2-200, look no further!!!! This is the right venue for you!!!!! Thanks so much Karen and Mike.... We researched venues for a while to the point of frustration. Until a friend told me about this one. From the first time we saw this venue and met Karen and Mike we knew this was the perfect place for us to get married. We chose the backyard for the ceremony It's nice and shady in evening . Followed by dinner and dancing at the barn . The lights are gorgeous at night ! We were very blessed to have seen the full moon rise :)
Karen and Mike were awesome ... They were there for us from beginning to end ! It was a fairy tale come true !! Thank you both so much !! It's a perfect setting for an outdoor wedding :)

Our day was perfect thanks to Winding Creek. Mike and Karen were very helpful. They were so sweet and took care of lots of details so I wasn't stressed at all. The venue was gorgeous and all of our guests had a great time! I couldn't have asked for anything better :) Thanks Mike and Karen!

We had our wedding at Winding Creek on 4.26.14 and it was great!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous! Mike and Karen (the owners) are wonderful and easy to work with. It was a great experience. I have had so many compliments on how pretty and awesome our wedding was. I would highly recommend Winding Creek Farm as a wedding venue, you will NOT be disappointed. It was perfect!

I’m so sorry I'm so late on this! Our wedding was in November of 2013 and we couldn't have been happier with how everything went. Both Karen and Mike were wonderful! I felt bad because I felt that either my mother or myself called Karen one too many times but she was as easy going and willing to help with just about anything, she even gave great ideas with both the ceremony and reception. Mike was precious, he had that camera in hand the entire time and I must say he got some pretty good pictures.
Most of the feedback of our wedding was how beautiful and how they had the most fun at our wedding or rated best wedding they have been to. That is a huge compliment and I don't think that was us, I think that had a lot to do with the atmosphere provided. I loved how we had the opportunity to borrow decorations for what we were lacking and I was more than happy to leave behind our decorations being that I didn't have use for them but all the time and effort that we put into everything, someone else got to enjoy.
It is such a beautiful place. We had left some things dear to us behind and Karen was sweet enough to put them aside for me to pick up, I thought that was really kind. I will forever remember that place; they gave me the opportunity to have my dream wedding. It is truly a beautiful place and it was only half the price of other places that I checked on with more options of areas to have your ceremony, I would recommend Winding Creek Farm to just about anyone and if you are on the market for a venue, I would recommend at least going to check this place out.....pictures do not do the place justice.

Absolutely wonderful space that has a ton of decorations available. Didn't need to rent a thing! Owners were extremely helpful before, during, and after the event. Great value. Planned a lot of my wedding on Pinterest and was so excited to make my dreams come true with little effort.

This venue was perfect! Perfect location, perfect price, perfect venue owners and overall 100% satisfaction. Decorations, tables, linen, chairs and cabin to either get stay the night before or stay the night after the wedding was all available in the cost. Two honest people not looking to worry couples with an over priced location. Prices are more than fair and I'm sure that's why this venue has it's available days so limited.

I absolutely loved having my wedding here. It was the perfect setting. Mike and Karen are incredible to work with! I appreciated that they had so many supplies already there for us to use... It saved us so much money! We enjoyed being able to stay in the cabin and being able to use whatever we liked! I highly recommend them!

This place met all of my expectations. Their was plenty of room for everyone to get ready for the big day. Plenty of room for dancing, eating, and having a blast. The owners are very helpful and very accommodating. Since my big day, they have made a lot of changes which look amazing. I would highly recommend!

WOW! I just can't thank the Owners, Karen and Mike enough! From the moment we met they both felt like family. Winding Creek Farm is a stunning location for a rustic barn wedding. My daughter's wedding hosted 90 friends and family members. We set up the white chairs in two curving sections with a central aisle on the lawn between the barn and log home. At precisely 5:00 pm the hot summer sun dipped behind the tree line and a light summer breeze blew through. We set the barn up into distinct areas that prevented our guests from feeling crowded or having to wait in a long line. Guests gathered on the large covered stone patio where tables and chairs were set up. As the evening wore on and the music and dancing began to wind down, guests and family gathered around the beautiful stone fire pit under the dark starry sky roasting marshmallows and making Smores. As the father of the bride, my job is to write the checks and make sure my daughter has a magical wedding day. How many fathers of the bride can say that they had a day just as magical as the bride? I can. Thank you again, Karen and Mike, for opening your hearts and farm to our family and friends. For the future brides (and father's of the brides) if you are looking for an intimate, rustic wedding in the beautiful wine country of North Carolina, imagine the possibilities at Winding Creek Farm.
