  Wonderful Photographer

  Will is professional, easy to work with, and so nice. He and his additional photographer were always on time, they were both very clear with their directions for the wedding party/family positions and poses and they were SO patient when we still struggled haha! He was probably the ONLY vendor that didn’t make me want to pull my hair out! The previews we have received are so lovely and I cannot wait to see them all. My husband and I loved working with Will and would hire him again in a heartbeat. William West Studio is definitely worth the money you will pay!!

  Will is professional, easy to work with, and so nice.   Incredible photos and experience

  We hired William West after seeing his portfolio online - we loved his photojournalistic and candid style and wanted our wedding day photos to highlight the emotion and joy we were sharing with our loved ones. Will was professional and one of the most responsive vendors we worked with throughout our planning process. Will is incredibly detail-oriented and deeply cares about his work. We met on the phone before wedding day to run through the timeline of events and he brought a second shooter, Jessie (also top-notch!) to capture the evening. Our pictures are such high-quality and show the beautiful, candid moments that we experienced during our wedding day. I have been constantly looking back at them and re-living the day again and again. I am so thankful to have such beautiful photographs to cherish forever. We are blown away by the quality and can't recommend Will enough!

  September Barn Wedding

  Will and Jenn were amazing!!! We never had to worry about how photography would turn out on our big day. From our first call to follow up call, Will was always easy to reach, communicative and made us feel we could fully trust him with his vision. His website portfolio speaks for itself! He has a great eye for candids and capturing special moments. Looking back at the pictures we received, there’s some my (now) husband doesn’t even remember a photographer being there. He works his magic and fits in with the crowd :)

  Highly professional and great photographer

  Will offered us a remarkable experience at our wedding. He was punctual, kind to our guests, attentive to my requests and overall, very polite and professional. Not to mention responsive and patient during the whole online process.
  At the wedding, there were times I almost forgot he was there - that’s how discrete he was!

  Amazing photos! 10/10 Recommend!

  Will did a fantastic job with our wedding! He is truly an excellent photographer and takes the time to make sure every detail is perfect. He captured the day so perfectly and we love looking through our photos. Will is patient, kind, and has such an incredible eye for detail.   Excellent experience, great value and perfect pictures

  William did exactly what I asked for. I asked for candid shots. And that’s exactly what William did. My friend, who likes photography, said, “Every time there was a special moment, your photographer was right there.” William captured the day fully and completely without having to pose for traditional portraits. All of my friends commented by saying, “Wow, you had a great photographer, and we never noticed him.” Pictures came out amazing. I highly recommend William West Studio. You can’t go wrong. 😉Happy Planning! Look no further, William West Studio is it. 👍👍👍

  Professional and delightful to work with

  My review for Will is slightly limited, as he ended up not being our photographer, but I can *still* recommend him! We hired Will to shoot our March 2020 wedding, and when we rescheduled for March 2022 he was unable to sign on to that date, but before I had the chance to sweat Will already had a menu of alternatives to choose from, and the photographers we ended up with were stellar! Will oversaw the whole process, helped with editing, managed our photo site... the works. We had a sampling of photos just a few days after the wedding and the whole batch 5 weeks out. Will was responsive, courteous, and just lovely throughout. All the qualities you want in a photographer. Highly recommend!

  Just wonderful

  We hired Will for our wedding which was originally scheduled for October 2020. First off, I am still over-the-moon that we were able to find such a talented photographer in exactly the style I wanted at the rate we did. However, beyond this he has just been a lovely human being to work with. My fiancee and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to May 2021 due to COVID, and Will was exceptionally understanding and flexible. With all the stress of wedding planning, and then wedding rescheduling, it is an unspeakable relief to be working with someone like Will.

  We hired Will for our wedding which was originally scheduled for October 2020. First off, I am still over-the-moon that we were able to find such a talented photographer in exactly the style I wanted at the rate we did. However, beyond this he has just been a lovely human being to work with. My fiancee and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to May 2021 due to COVID, and Will was exceptionally understanding and flexible.   The perfect photographer!

  Will was exactly what we were looking for! We really wanted an "affordable" photographer with natural color edits, someone who wouldn’t make me do unnatural/fake poses all around the property for hours, someone with a more photojournalistic style who would capture what was actually happening at the time and someone who would not send me 10,000 photos of the same thing and Will fit it all! I sent him a list of the photos I HAD TO HAVE ahead of time because I’m a control freak (ex. one with each parent, etc) and he even refrained from telling me how crazy I was :) He brought a second shooter of his choice who was also great and we honestly didn’t even know they were there the entire day - which I loved. Highly recommend!

He remained in active communication with us as we navigated the unknowns of the pandemic and was supportive of our difficult decision to postpone our event from 2020 to 2021, without any hesitation or additional requests. When our special day finally arrived in 2021, Will went above and beyond to ensure the capturing of absolutely beautiful and precious moments throughout our special day despite added unforeseen obstacles that arose. His commitment to quality and care has been unwavering, and having just received our wedding photos only confirms that, tenfold. We haven't stopped looking through our photos.. we can't! They are tender, charming, vibrant, authentic, touching, beautiful.. perfect for us. They capture the essence of our day so remarkably, bringing us straight back to each unforgettable moment. We were so impressed from the beginning when Will shared his incredibly reasonable prices with us and explained all that was included...a full day of photography from the early hours to late night hours of our special day, an online gallery of hundreds of beautifully captured and edited photos with NO watermark, 20 prints of our choice, AND a canvas! When we began planning for our wedding, we looked into a variety of photographers, and Will stood out as the most reasonable by far, without any compromise in quality. We were confident in Will's talents, quality, and professionalism right away, but now that we've worked with him and have received our photo gallery, we can't emphasize enough just how grateful and blessed we feel. We can only hope you make the same decision that we made. We know you will be just as grateful if you do! :)

  Bespoke photos, 5-star photographer who is truly invested in your day

  If you want a talented photographer who is truly invested in your big day/vision, then William West is your guy. He is professional, responsive, and will do whatever he can to ensure your expectations are met (and exceeded) . We had to cancel our wedding due to the pandemic, and had to cancel our rescheduled wedding due to pregnancy, and he worked with us through the entire process. We are scheduled with him for the third attempt to get married in June 2024 and couldn’t be happier to still have him on board. Your big day will last only a few hours, make the investment in bespoke photos that are backed by a true professional. You will not regret it.

  A true artist!

  Will shot our wedding in October, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. I was looking for a photographer with a great eye who wouldn't break the bank, and Will was the most amazing find. This man is a real photographer with an eye for natural moments. He won't overly pose you, he won't add that weird grayish/neutral filter that all Instagram wedding photographers seem to layer on these days. But his photos are absolutely stunning, we got compliments from everyone! Just one tip: if you have any specific people or items (e.g. detail shots) you want him to capture, make sure to specifically ask for them, because he doesn't always follow the typical shot list that lots of other wedding photographers do (which I found refreshing). Do yourself a favor and hire Will!

  We love our photos!

  We are so happy with the gorgeous and very natural looking photos that Will took for our wedding! He was flexible and easy to work with before the wedding and on the day. We were very pleased that our venue recommended him and most importantly we love our photos!!

  The best wedding photographer!

  Will and his team were professional, easy to work with, and kind. They listened to our requests and on our wedding day, they delivered a beautiful portfolio of pictures that we look back on fondly. They took countless photos that included nearly all our guests, which made for a great way to share something with our guests to remember the night. Not to mention the photos were of the highest quality. Will and his team even stayed late into the reception to capture candid photos of our guests and us dancing. Also the price is very fair and a great value. We could not recommend William West Studio any higher!

  William and Amber were beyond amazing to work with!! They really understood what we were looking for and it was truly a pleasure to have them there on such a special day.   Working with Will was the best! He was flexible with his time and professional at all times. The photos came out absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. I highly recommend Will for any occasion. His prices were fair and reasonable. Before hiring Will, I spoke with multiple photographers who were exorbitant.   William West was the photographer for our wedding in May of 2019. William is a friendly, talented professional and fulfilled the exact services as stated in our contract. He was very stealthy and quick, taking tons of photos without people feeling like someone was in their face or invading their space. William is skilled with photography and we really loved the wedding photos we got back; they captured our wedding day brilliantly. William has an eye for angles and capturing interesting features of the venue, along with emotions and expressions of everyone, making the wedding photos a collection of loving, interesting memories instead of boringly posed, smile for the camera type of shots. We would recommend William West, thanks for everything!

  Had a fantastic time

  I'm not a fan of having my pictures taken, but William made us both feel really comfortable. I know we have some great photos coming to us soon.

There were no corny posed pictures and from the few pictures I've seen so far, everything looks beautiful and natural. We loved working with Will and would recommend him to anyone and everyone!   Exactly what we wanted

  We came across William West online and viewed his work on Instagram and knew pretty quickly that his work is what we were looking for in our wedding day photos. We wanted everything about the wedding day to be relaxed and a bit go-with-the-flow, but with style. We asked Will to focus less on getting the structured and staged photos and instead to just capture the energy of the evening, and he really excelled at that. We do have quite a few group photos and they're wonderful so if those are a priority for your day, I have no doubt he'd capture that, but for us we loved the joyous and spontaneous nature of his work that we saw. The day goes by so quickly, and while you try to enjoy and live in every moment, it's very special to have photos that document fun moments you may have missed, or wish you could see again, and that's what Will's photos from our day convey. He's professional and courteous and quite honestly I'm not sure how he got many of the shots, because he moves so stealthily around the room! We would highly recommend him - we planned our wedding in a very short amount of time (11 weeks) and we really lucked out across the board with our vendors.

  William was such a treat to work with. From our first interaction via phone to follow up emails and schedules, William was always prompt, detail oriented and reliable. We held numerous calls with him (my fiance was a bit nervous) and William was really patient answering all our concerns.
  
  On the day of the wedding, it felt like William wasn't even there. Let me explain! I wasn't constantly reminded of a photographer being in our faces asking us to smile...but, the pictures speak for themselves! I remember first seeing them and thinking how in the world did he manage to capture those small but important moments. We enjoyed working with William so much that we already recommended him to several friends (this was before our wedding - ha!). In the end, the photos turned out beautifully....colors were vibrant and super natural and we had a good balance of posed and not posed shots. I would highly recommend him.
