  Beautiful Northwoods Wedding Venue

  Robin and Justin are so wonderful to work with. I love how Robin got just as excited about my wedding as I did. She is a sweetheart and will make sure you and your guests have a great stay. Justin is the GM and will ensure that your food and beverage goes smoothly. Great staff, beautiful grounds, lovely, BIG condos for your guests to stay in. Highly recommend!!!

  Beautiful venue with amazing service.

  We really loved our wedding at Wild Eagle Lodge. Robin was a joy to work with... at every step of the way, she was helpful, patient, and on top of everything. Things were so easy and simple, and there were no catches or surprises that caught us off-guard. The venue itself is beautiful, right on the water with great places for pictures all around. We were so happy to have our wedding here and we would highly recommend it to anyone. We couldn't imagine a more perfect place to share our love with our family and friends.

  An AMAZING Northwoods Wedding

  We could not have imagined a better time at WEL. The event coordinator, Robin, was the most helpful and generous person we could have asked for and helped us with our first questions about the venue one year before our wedding up through the planning and rehearsal dinner right up until moments before I walked down the aisle and then into the evening.
  
  The lodge itself is beautiful and convenient beyond words. We stayed the night before the wedding, our wedding night, and the entire day/night after the wedding just to try and enjoy some of the other amazing things the lodge has to offer. We were more than satisfied and plan on going back every year to revisit our new special place!

  We could not have imagined a better time at WEL.   Amazing Lakefront Wedding Venue

  My husband and I took a leap of faith and booked the Wild Eagle Lodge in Eagle River, WI for our wedding reception before even setting foot on the grounds!
  
  We knew we wanted a Summer destination wedding in Eagle River and did a lot of research online to make our final decision. What really helped us choose the Lodge and be comfortable and confident in our decision was talking at length over the phone with the wedding coordinator, Robin Nikolaus. She is extremely knowledgable about wedding planning and went above and beyond to make our special day better than we could have imagined. She truly is one of the kindest and friendliest people we have ever met. Robin and the rest of the Wild Eagle staff went above and beyond to gain a solid idea of our vision and made it a reality.
  
  When we finally made it to the Wild Eagle Lodge and walked around the lakefront, woodsy property a couple weeks before our big day we were completely blown away! The pictures we saw online were beautiful, however the actual property greatly surpassed our expectations.
  
  The rooms were spacious and comfortable - all of our guests were extremely satisfied and raved about the accommodations and venue. Everything was well maintained and you couldn't dream of a nicer, more helpful team that went out of their way to help in any way possible.
  
  On our wedding day everything went smoothly due to Robin and staff's excellent relationships with the vendors and her unrivaled attention to detail.
  
  We would absolutely recommend Wild Eagle Lodge a thousand times over to couples who want a beautiful natural lakeside setting, nestled in the heart of the Wisconsin Northwoods.

  Amazing Wedding Venue!

  Wild Eagle Lodge was such a perfect venue for our wedding! It was beautiful scenery and so welcoming to all of our guests. The lodge itself was amazing - the rooms were spacious and so many guests commented that they wanted to come back for future summer vacations. Robin was so wonderful to work with and was so responsive with every little question we had. One downfall was that we were required to work with one tent vendor, which was a little more expensive than others in the area. However, they knew the area, worked well with everyone, and were very quick with set up. I wish I could get married there again!

  Wild Eagle Lodge was such a perfect venue for our wedding! It was beautiful scenery and so welcoming to all of our guests. So helpful, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure not only my wedding day, but my rehearsal dinner, was top notch. We had rain on our rehearsal dinner night which forced us to move our dinner inside and the team at Wild Eagle could not have been more helpful in setting things up and making things run smoothly after a rocky start. They also were there every step of the way on my wedding day to make sure that everything went off without a hitch! I even caught a glimpse of Robin (my wedding coordinator) watching me walk down the aisle! I would recommend them 100x over and can't wait to go back to Wild Eagle Lodge to relive that special day over and over again!

  Our choice to have our wedding at Wild Eagle Lodge was the best decision we made for our wedding day. Robin, the on-site wedding coordinator, was instrumental in helping us make good decisions throughout the planning process, kept us on track, and helped make the day a success with an untold number of behind-the-scenes moves. Blue Heron, the on-site restaurant, was incredibly helpful as well, from letting us store desserts we brought from Minnesota to being fantastically friendly hosts of our cocktail bar. Jean and Brittany of Blue Heron made this happen, with excellent advice and guidance that made our guests feel taken care of.
  
  And the resort itself is divine. Our ceremony site was utterly beautiful -- a peaceful sanctuary shrouded by fall colors, a soft breeze rustling the most beautiful pines and birch trees, and a blue sky ocean. Our family and friends staying in the lodge condos with us remarked on how gorgeous they were -- a few of our relatives tossed up the idea of purchasing retirement homes there. The grounds were impeccable and constantly maintained. The condos were plush, warmly decorated, and stocked with every imaginable kitchen and bathroom supply.
  
  We could go on and on -- about the vacation toys available to borrow and rent, about the stunning lake, about everything Robin did to make our wedding day perfect. Choosing Wild Eagle Lodge is the single best choice we made.

  One of a kind!

  My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in Eagle River. When looking at our options there was no one that compared to Wild Eagle, especially Robin - the Events Coordinator. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff here. Robin, especially, made the entire process so incredibly fun! Matt and I feel like family and cannot wait to return! There is already talks of people wanting to do our family reunions up north because everyone had such an amazing time at our wedding! Thank you so much Robin and the entire staff at Wild Eagle lodge for making our wedding weekend the best of our lives!

  We got married at Wild Eagle Lodge. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception there. Most of our guests also stayed at the resort. I cannot even begin to guess how many people told me what a wonderful resort it was. It is a beautiful setting, the condos are wonderful, and the staff goes above and beyond every time! We were faced with a lot (and I mean a lot) of rain. We had to change plans several times. The staff (especially Robin, the events coordinator) really went above and beyond time and time again. They helped us with back up plans and made sure everything went smoothly. They kept us calm and talked to our vendors so that we wouldn't get more stressed. Robin always had a smile and a hug for me which really helped in the moments where things were getting stressful. The lodge provided everything we and our guests needed throughout the weekend and during the planning process. Robin was always quick to respond and had answers for all of our questions. We definitely will be back!

  From beginning to end, Robin and Jean were happy, helpful, knowledgeable, and organized. During our initial consultation, Robin let us know what to expect and plan for and Jean had many different food options and price points to choose from. We had a rehearsal cookout by the water which led to s'mores and laughs by the fire. The day of our wedding, members of our party rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed navigating the many lakes on the chain. Our guests were very impressed with all of the amenities on the resort grounds including free kayak rentals, an indoor swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, and a sandy beach. Our ceremony was outside in early June, so we were prepared for any kind of weather. As luck would have it, we had plenty of sun and a temperature in the 70's. After the ceremony, Jean had appetizers prepared for our guests as we took wedding pictures. Our reception was held inside the Blue Heron dining hall and it was the perfect size for our near 100 guests. The food was delicious (highly recommend the Walleye)! And the kitchen and staff ran like a well-oiled machine. The party continued until mid-night at which point we had another fire and more laughs. It could not have been more perfect or stress-free. If we could do it all over again, we would in a heartbeat.

  Everything at Wild Eagle Lodge was perfect. The accommodations are fantastic. The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. If you want a fun, relaxed and beautiful venue for your wedding, I would highly recommend Wild Eagle Lodge.

She completely understands what it takes to plan a wedding and was more than I could ask for. I was actually planning my wedding from Texas and we communicated completely via email. She is quick to respond and has all the answers!
  
  The lodge is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were such a great deal! We were able to have our wedding during the off-season, which really saved some bucks. Everything was so great and just as I imagined it would be! Thank you for everything!

  The lodge is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were such a great deal! We were able to have our wedding during the off-season, which really saved some bucks. Everything was so great and just as I imagined it would be! Thank you for everything!

We were thrilled with the supportive and professional staff that we worked with on room blocks, getting advice on local vendors, and following up re: next steps. They were also incredibly gracious and understanding when we needed to cancel our venue reservation. Although we did not end up having our event here, we had a wonderful experience working with the team and look forward to visiting in the future!

  We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with in planning our wedding! Being all the way from Chicago we didn't have the luxury of visiting our venue 3 times a week if we wanted haha but Robin, the wedding coordinator, was amazing! From the day we stepped into Wild Eagle for our tour to the day we said "I do" Robin was so helpful!!! Not only was she helpful but she was always soooo excited for us; she made me feel like she was part of my family, that's how happy she was. Our wedding was late October so we held our small reception (about 90 people) in the Blue Heron restaurant. Jean is the manager and she was so amazing! Our wedding was the night after her birthday and she shortened a plan vacation to be there managing our wedding. And I cannot say enough about the chef at the Blue Heron because the food was absolutely amazing...not just from me but my entire reception people kept telling me how awesome the food was!!! Thank you all so much for everything you did to make this the most memorable day ever! I highly recommend you check this place out...I guarantee the excitement in Robin's eyes when she meets you for the first time will sell you just like it sold me and my husband.

  Robin, Jean and the staff at Wild Eagle Lodge were amazing! As soon as my fiance and I entered the driveway at Wild Eagle Lodge we felt this wave of calming energy and beauty. The property is extremely well cared for and meticulously groomed. The event coordinator Robin took time on her day off to sit down with my fiance and I to explain what services they offer and to give us a tour of the property. Right away you can tell that Robin is passionate about what she does and truly does it because she LOVES it! My fiance and I booked Wild Eagle Lodge the very day we saw it. There fall dates book up fast so this is not a venue to sit on- book it early! We chose to get married on the last weekend in September. The property has a beautiful shoreline and lush greenery. The trees were just starting to really pop on our wedding day so our pictures are stunning!
  Robin kept me on track throughout the whole planning process. She reminded me of things I didn't even think of! She made sure I had all my T's crossed and I's dotted before our big day. Robin is truly one of the sweetest most genuine people you will ever meet.
  
  Now, lets talk food and beverage. Jean, who manages the food and beverage side of Wild Eagle Lodge is also fantastic and sweet as pie!! We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Wild Eagle Lodge and had our wedding cupcakes made from their baker. Our rehearsal dinner was delicious! Jean really helped us to tailor our dinner experience to exactly what we wanted. The meal was fantastic and the staff was energetic and polite. I had originally planned to go with a different baker for our cupcakes trying to cut cost a little bit but I am so happy I changed my mind! Jean held a little cupcake tasting for me, my mother and future MIL. I was very impressed by the extensive list of flavors to choose from as well as the cupcake presentation. The cupcakes flew off the dessert table!

Then we met with Robin, our Coordinator, and she made the experience that much more exciting! Robin sincerely cares about making your wedding the best it can possibly be. She genuinely cares about your wedding as much as you do, and she is with you every step of the way for questions and recommendations. We would also like to mention the on-site restaurant manager, Jean, who was extremely helpful in assisting with many other important details such as our rehearsal dinner, dessert, alcohol, etc. If something was important to us, Jean would make it happen. The day of our wedding, Robin made sure everything fell into place and ran smoothly. Later in the evening, we had a strong storm come through and lost power. We were able to go into the Blue Heron Restaurant where Jean made sure that all of our guest's needs were met. Our first dance was sung acoustically around fairy lit jars and the moment was magical. No one expected the events that occurred, but the staff at Wild Eagle made sure our wedding was far from over.   The event planner made the whole process fun. She answered all my questions promptly before hand, was on site each day making sure the details were in place and everything running smoothly, and was genuinely excited and helpful (not just because it's her job, but because it's her fun personality). We hosted a rehearsal dinner grill out there which I'd recommend to anyone. Our wedding lunch was at the Blue Heron Restaurant on site which had delicious food that everyone enjoyed. They were accommodating and helpful . . . We couldn't have had a better experience!

To say they were impressed with the venue,-the grounds, the amenities, the food, the cleanliness of rooms, down to every last detail- would be an understatement. We had a bonfire "rehearsal dinner" the night before- which our guests LOVED. Then we were lucky to be blessed with a beautiful October day with weather and leaves peaking- and had our ceremony outdoors.... it was magic. The food, the desserts, the breakfast the day after the wedding- all fantastic! Robin, Jean (kitchen), and all their staff were on point and a joy to work with.
