  who wants to dance?

  What The Funk were phenomenal at our June 2017 wedding. What an incredible good time. We wanted people dancing, and nothing gets folks to the dance floor like funk does! They were super professional. Reasonably priced. And ridiculously fun. They made the long trek up to Sonoma County which was much appreciated. I can't count how many people mentioned the band in the weeks and months after the wedding. Our friends and fam really got a kick out of it. Memorable for sure. At the time it felt a little like we were plunging into the unknown.. there weren't many reviews out there, I'd never seen the band. I spoke to Doc on the phone, seemed like it was all going to work, so we took a chance. And really glad we did. If you're into funk, old school R&B, motown, etc, and that's the sort of vibe you're going for at the wedding (fun!), then I highly recommend WTF. A+.

  Want a Fun Wedding?

  What the Funk helped us to have a really fun, memorable wedding. Lots of things didn't go right that day, but everyone still had an amazing time because the band was so fun and energetic. And we got to pick several of the songs they learned specially for our day. I love horns, so we picked songs with lots of horns in them. We loved them so much we hired them back the following summer for my birthday party.
