  Mary Ellen Deckelman was the PERFECT officiant for our special day. We wanted to keep our ceremony personal to us. Mary Ellen spent time with us beforehand getting to know both of us & our relationship. She tailored our ceremony to our personal relationship and location..... It was magical.   Amazing, fun and organized officiant

  We were so lucky to have Mary Ellen as our officiant during our summer wedding. She created a beautiful ceremony with us and helped organize us all at rehearsal and for the big day. We had no planners and I knew very little about weddings so she really came to our rescue when it came to the flow and details. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding officiant!   Mary Ellen was awesome to work with! Personable, easygoing, and super genuine. We wanted a quick and simple ceremony and she provided awesome templates that we were able to customize and make special. All super easy!   It was a joy to work with ME on our wedding. In our case, we had a good idea of what we wanted and she respected all our wishes. She had a number of templates that helped us structure the ceremony. The ceremony itself was so romantic and meaningful to us. She honored our request that she maintain a limited role, but was really helpful in coordinating the ceremony. In particular, the musician was fully integrated into the ceremony, which added to making the day very special.

  From first interaction, ME showed compassion and expediency. Ready with excellent suggestions but not at all pushy. Short notice bilingual (Chinese/English) ceremony including a WeChat broadcast for family in PRC. Coordinated interpreter (delightful young lady as well). Presented a delightful ceremony. You must hire Mary Ellen!

  Mary Ellen was a perfect choice to officiate our hike-in ceremony. Mary Ellen took the time to get to know us and tailored a ceremony that fit us and our ceremony location. She was a trooper about hiking to the ceremony site and was the first to arrive at the trailhead on the morning of our ceremony. She fit right in with our small group of family and friends and added to the energy and celebratory feeling of the day. We highly recommend Mary Ellen!

  Mary Ellen was the most responsive and fun officiant that I had talked with during planning. She was so flexible with changes and made amazing suggestions. She allowed us to personalize our ceremony as much as we wanted. She kept us on our timeline for the day and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be.

  So easy to work with

  Mary Ellen was wonderful to work with. She listened attentively, helped guide us when we were feeling overwhelmed, and delivered exactly what she promised. If it were any other scenario I would say we would definitely use her services again in the future! The plan is to only need to once though.

She performed an intimate ceremony with a couple of our friends for an elopement on the canyon rim near Scout Camp. She then performed our ceremony almost a year later at FivePine Lodge when we celebrated with our families. Her communication throughout the planning process was amazing and she really got to the heart of why my wife and I wanted to get married. She is so well spoken and makes the ceremony process so easy. She has some great ideas already but is more than willing to change things up to cater towards what couples are envisioning. She really gets to the roots of our relationship to highlight the unique love each person brings. Thank you thank you thank you! If we have a third ceremony you’ll be the one we call! Thank you for making (both) of our ceremonies magical!

  Mary Ellen did a fantastic job of creating a ceremony that fit us to a ‘T’. She really took the time to get to know us personally and our love story. Although we had a small wedding, we were still nervous to be the center of attention - Mary Ellen really helped ground us, bring us into the moment and cracked a few jokes to help ease our tensions. Our family absolutely loved the way she presented herself and the ceremony. They had so many complimentary comments after the wedding. Thanks for making our wedding everything we imagined in such a strange time (married in June 2020)!!

  Beautiful winter wedding

  We wanted something different for our wedding and Mary Ellen was amazing. She skied in with us to a special place by the river and performed a beautiful ceremony there. She made us feel very comfortable on our special day. Would highly recommend!

  Destination Elopement

  Mary Ellen was so easy to work with for our destination elopement. She helped us plan it all long-distance before we even arrived in Bend. When we did arrive, it was so easy to get everything finalized and to enjoy our ceremony with just close family.
