  Top experience

  This was our first (and hopefully only) wedding, so the one thing we knew we were willing to splurge on was a good photographer. We looked all of the usual sites and talked to some potential candidates (based on budget, location and style), but it was thanks to a friend-of-a-friend's recommendation that we found Olivia. After checking her work (very natural and not too fake), we had a fruitful conversation where she listened to everything we wanted (in terms of mood/atmosphere/subject/etc.). Her price was a bit higher than some other finalists, but she was willing to listen to exactly what we wanted and we came to a mutually beneficial agreement. In the end, we also hired Mel, her husband, to do videography and come wedding day, both were consummate professionals. I made a snafu with the scheduling, but they were flexible and showed up exactly when I needed them. They were communicative. They both guided us when we needed it and always asked us if we wanted to do x and checked on our well-being throughout. We have since gotten our first batch of preview photos and a social media film reel and both are FANTASTIC. I anticipate the rest to be of similarly high quality. Zero regrets.

  Definitely Recommend!

  We hired Olivia and Mel to do our engagement photos this summer, and they did an awesome job! We absolutely love the photos they captured. They provided helpful instruction when needed, but were also flexible and encouraged us to really be ourselves during the shoot. Highly recommend!

  Absolutely Amazing

  Olivia and Mel are an absolute dream to work with and the photos from both our engagement session and our wedding were beyond our expectations. They went out of their way to make every detail perfect, and were always patient and gracious with our questions, requests, emails etc. They are also just a genuinely kind and generous couple who really do seem to love their work. We couldn't have chosen better, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer to capture a special day or moment in time.

  A fun experience and great photos!

  Olivia and Mel are so fun to work with! They helped my partner and I feel more comfortable and confident taking pictures at our engagement session, and we were ready and excited to work with them again at our wedding! They are a great team; they work together quickly and efficiently to get the best shots and make it a great experience all around. We originally signed a contract with them in 2018 for a 2020 wedding, which ultimately got postponed to 2021 because of COVID. They were understanding and flexible throughout the whole process and even honored the original price we agreed on in our 2018 contract. I would highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking to do a photo session!

  Photographers were one of the first vendors we researched because we knew how important they would be in remembering our special day. Many we reached out to were already booked or were way too expensive. Then we found Olivia and Mel, who had one of the most stunning portfolios we had come across but also offered reasonable pricing. They were so easy to work with and really fit in like they were one of our guests. They took beautiful, creative photos of both the wedding party but also of all the little details. We couldn’t imagine ever hiring different photographers.

  Olivia and Mel are AMAZING!

  What initially drew my husband and I to use Olivia as our photographer was the dreamlike quality of her photos- which was exactly the look that we wanted! Once we reached out to her we realized she and her husband are some of the kindest souls you will ever meet! Her and her husband will make you feel like models, even if you have never had your photos professionally taken. Our friends said that we had the best engagement photos they had ever seen!! Olivia and Mel will capture whatever your special day is and make it look like a fairytale! We highly recommend these photographers!

  Amazing Wedding Photography Experience

  Let me start by saying Olivia and Mel were both absolute AMAZING photographers to work with! Not only did our special day go stress free and seemingly perfect, the photos we received were beyond anything we could have ever asked for. Prior to the wedding, Olivia was very professional, quick to respond to emails and easy to work with. Even though we were four hours away, she set up a video call so we could have that face-to-face time during the introductory process. Right away we knew she would be a great fit for us! AND then throw in her amazingly talented husband as a bonus (who, come to find out has the same name as our cat, so YES, it is meant to be!) When it came to what was needed day of, she had an entire questionnaire prepared so that we would not forget any of the important MUST have shots. Did I mention, VERY professional. Fast forward to the wedding day, Olivia and Mel arrive looking like the cutest husband and wife photographer duo EVER and they get right to it! I never had worry about missing a shot, or falling off schedule, because they had the entire shot list taken care of. Not to mention keeping my nerves down, they were great! After the wedding, Olivia did an amazing job providing sneak peak photos for us on the website, as well as continuing to upload photos during the editing process. In the end we received a personalized USB drive with ALL the photos. The photos are STUNNING, and we still cannot stop looking at them! They captured all that we could have asked for, special moments and surprises throughout the day and night that we can now keep forever. I know I will be reaching out to work with them again in the future. Such GREAT people, we really enjoyed our time with them. I would highly recommend Olivia and Mel for your Wedding Photography needs or any photography needs!

  What an amazing couple not just as photographers but as people!!!!! So easy to get along with from the beginning! As if we’ve known each other for years!   Long Lost Friends

  I found Olivia searching through Instagram looking for photos that gave off a warm glow and cozy feeling. The results were more than I could dream of, and the only thing better than the photos were the people taking them. Olivia and Mel are so talented and felt like long lost friends! They are so kind and hilarious to be around, which was super important because we wanted people that aligned with us and had fun with us on our special day. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera!
  
  When we had our engagement session, there was not a quiet moment! We had a blast with them. Who knew that hiking up a mountain top with complete strangers would be such a great time! We plan on meeting with Olivia again to get future occasions captured (or maybe just to catch up)! Thank you Olivia and Mel for being awesome and making our day spectacular. ❤️

  Olivia and Mel were wonderful!

  They worked well with all the kids in our party! We were having a winter wedding outside, so we wanted someone who worked well with low light and they were amazing!! They were patient with us, and flexible even when we were outside in the rain! We would hire them for anything moving forward! They were wonderful!!

  Perfection!

  Olivia and Mel are an amazing pair, offering not only professional service but their friendly personality that gives you the much needed peace of mind before the wedding day, comfort during the wedding and happy memories after the wedding.
  
  My husband and I found Olivia online just 6 months to our wedding. We read some of the amazing reviews and decided to get in touch. Few minutes into our phone conversation with Olivia, we were convinced that we have found our wedding photographer :)
  
  Olivia was very careful to understand what myself and my husband liked and as it was a Nigerian wedding. she was very inquisitive about what the highlights of the day would be. She did all these while respecting our privacy.
  
  On the day of the wedding, both Olivia and Mel arrived very early to take the more intimate and personal photos of myself, my husband, close family and friends. They were very careful to ensure that my husband did not see me until the time for the surprise shoot. They were really nice to our families and guests and everyone loved them, making it easy in my opinion for them to take exciting photos with wonderful memories.
  
  After the wedding, they worked really hard to ensure that our photos were ready on the website in just under a month and we received a USB as well. The photos were beautiful and we still can't stop looking at them. They captured every detail with a few amazing surprise photos of random events.
  
  The photos were so beautiful and elegant that our wedding was nominated and featured in the 2020 edition of the Virginia Magazine, covering two full spread of the magazine ( Please feel free to get a copy and see the amazing work of Olivia and Mel). I have already recommended Olivia to everyone I know :), and my husband and I are already talking about booking them for a photo shot for our anniversary.
  
  I can't find any negatives about Olivia and Mel, they are friendly, professional and they help you to save a few dollars if possible.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Olivia and Mel. From the engagement shoot to our wedding day everything was amazing. Our photos were perfect and highlighted the best parts of our day! Olivia and Mel were kind, easy to work with, flexible, punctual and went above and beyond our expectations. They were even willing to stay an extra hour beyond what we had originally hired them for. I honestly think they should charge more for their services than they do! I can’t imagine having anyone else take our photos from now on!

  Wonderful photographer!

  Olivia was fantastic to work with! She is very easy to get along with, very understanding and flexible to work with. As someone who feels awkward in fromt of the camera, she does a good job making you feel at ease. I also thoroughly enjoyed the candid photos she was able to capture from our wedding. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

  Where do I even start? We just received our pictures and my Husband and I are speechless! They are everything we dreamed of and simply breathtaking. I'm beyond ecstatic and so pleased with the services Olivia provided for us. She and her husband were so easy to work with, professional, kind, and punctual. They made us, our wedding party, family and friends feel so comfortable on the day of our wedding. Looking back, I can't imagine going with anyone else and I will forever use/recommend them for all of our photography needs.   Where do I even start? We just received our pictures and my Husband and I are speechless! They are everything we dreamed of and simply breathtaking.   Everything was perfect.

  Everyone has asked us about our wedding pictures and my response is always “there wasn’t a single picture that I didn’t love”! Olivia Diane Photography captured our special day and our most favorite memories in a perfect way! They were patient and kind and also allowed us to be ourselves, with our overly silly friends.   Kind, Easy to work with, Professional yet Personal GREAT PHOTOS

  Not only do I love Olivia and her husband but my entire family raved about how kind, talented, and comfortable they felt in their hands. My husband (who's not a huge photo guy) wants to do ANOTHER photo shoot with them! They did our wedding and I didn't think they would get much from my husband and his friends while he was getting ready but I was wrong! Her husband made them feel so comfortable he not only got a lot of shots he also got some pretty funny ones too! 20/10
  The photos turned out amazing. They captured some very special moments and did not miss a thing. I cannot wait to work with them again. My mother actually found them for our wedding day and I had already hired someone else to do our elopement shoot and between the two my husband and I would both hire Olivia again. She was punctual, kind, and the photos turned out beyond my dreams. I was a very laid back bride and she was great to go with my flow but gave great professional advice about the timing and placement of the photo setting.

  Olivia did my husband's and my engagement shoot and they were phenomenal. Olivia and her husband Mel shot our wedding as well. I have not worked with a better photographer.
