We are so glad that we had a videographer for our wedding!! It captured so much that we missed throughout the day! We watched it as soon as we got it back and laughed so hard and cried a little too : ) It was so wonderfully put together and we couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much!! We look forward to watching it again with our family and friends as well as years down the road!

Dave and John were absolutely amazing. Being a girl who does not like to be in front of a camera they made it easy because I barely knew they were there! They had a teaser video over to me within one week and it was better then I could have ever imagined!

I cannot say enough about Waves Media. We had decided early in our wedding planning process that we were definitely not going to hire a videographer. Later on, we stumbled upon a Waves Media video and knew we needed them for our wedding. Our videos turned out amazing and we have received SO many compliments from family and friends. David captured us as a couple perfectly. The video highlights everything we would want it to and it is so nicely done. Waves Media's videos are more authentic and professionally done than any other I have seen. We also loved working with David. He was so nice, accommodating, and discreet. Many of our guests commented that they didn't even see a videographer there, they were shocked when we showed them the video. Like I said, I feel like nothing I write in this review can even come close to expressing my gratitude towards David and Waves Media. We would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

Hiring Waves Media was perhaps the best decision we made in planning our wedding. The final product is absolutely unbelievable. The attention to detail and ability to capture all the highlights were second to none. The videographers were professional, kind, courteous and very easy to work with. Planning was also a breeze. We would recommend Waves Media to absolutely anyone looking for a videographer.

I can't say enough positive comments to justify the quality if work John provides. Our wedding video both the highlight video and full version were absolutely perfect. He is very easy to work and has a great attitude. He was flexible in every request we had for him and was able to capture our wedding day perfectly. I often will watch the video reliving those special moments through Johns work and for that I am forever grateful. We have promoted his services to friends and family and look forward to working with him in the future. There so no where else to look when choosing a videographer then waves media.

David was a breeze to work with. I actually wasn't originally planning on having a videographer and then sort of decided on it a few months before the wedding. I cant tell you how glad I am about that!! David was recommended to me by a coworker and every step of the way was super easy and stress free. I loved that all the setup/questions and payments were done online. David and the second videographer were super professional and fun to work with all day at the wedding and I just received my "short" 5 minute video and I'm in shock at how amazing it is. Literally just what I wanted and then some! Waves Media is an all around quality company and I highly recommend them!!

Initially we were not sure if we wanted to spend money on a
videographer for our wedding, but we are so glad we did! David did a
wonderful job capturing our wedding on film and he did everything we
asked for. We wanted to be able to have a video of the ceremony so
that we could show it to the family who was not able to attend the
wedding. We did not want the videographer to be in the way of our
photographers or guests. We wanted to be able to hear our vows and
hoped that the wedding video would bring us back to our wedding day.
With David, we got all we wished for and so much more! After I have
contacted David about his availability and pricing he promptly sent us
a sample wedding video DVD which helped us to figure out what we'd
like from a wedding video. David has been very quick to respond to all
our inquiries and did a great job answering all our questions over the
phone. We haven't actually met him until the wedding day. On the day
of the wedding he was practically invisible - I don't think I've
noticed him most of the time and yet, when we got the video back it
was like he was everywhere at just the right time. It was great to
watch the video and see all the people that we barely had time to talk
to during the wedding, plus it was great to see all the footage from
the time when we weren't actually there, for instance, when the guests
were gathering for the ceremony or when the bridal party was entering
the reception hall. We were able to get the video of the highlights
from the wedding in only 2.5 weeks and were able to show it at our
second reception in another state. We got the full video shortly
thereafter and I can't stop watching it. It's absolutely everything I
wanted! I would also recommend going with the HD - the quality of the
video is great. We are so glad we chose to get a videographer and so
glad we went with David from Waves Media!

I (the bride) was the only one who wanted to have a videographer at our wedding, and Jonathan at Waves Media made me look like the smartest person at the wedding!

Pre-wedding: Jon was easy to talk to and totally understanding of my predicament. When I finally pulled the trigger and asked him to film our wedding, he jumped right in and made me feel comfortable that he knew what I wanted the film to focus on.

Day of: Jon was the perfect vendor. He was on time, focused, friendly, and managed to do all of that while keeping himself and (more importantly) his gear in the background.

Video: It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made our wedding look like a movie! My husband and I could not be more happy with the results, and all of my friends and family agree! Multiple people who told me not to use a videographer, apologized to me and thanked me for holding my ground on this!

I wanted a video of our wedding to show our children one day, and Jon gave us something more than that. He captured the true feeling of the day - the light, the love, and the laughter; and has given us a gift to enjoy for years to come!

David was a great videographer! Very professional, great communication (would email receipts of payment the day he got them), great price, excellent product. We are very please with his services and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!

Both my sister and I chose Waves Media for our wedding videography and we couldn't be happier we did so! David is extremely professional, responds to email immediately (which we all know in the wedding business is tough to find!), and was very flexible throughout the planning process and the day. He caught the most memorable moments but without me ever even knowing he was there!!! He put my camera-shy groom to ease right from the start. The pricing is excellent for the amt of services and the lengthy, artistic video that was the end result. Thank you David! I will be sure to send your name to all my friends.

David was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was fun, personable, attentive, accommodating, incredibly talented and turned around our videos extremely quickly! At first my perception of videography was someone with a big, clunky camera that would be awkward and get in the way on our big day. After researching videographers and talking to others, we realized that times have changed and we didn't want to regret not capturing our wedding day on video. We are beyond pleased with how everything came out and have received so many compliments on our cinematic short video! It's so wonderful to be able to watch it all back, especially the short video, which tells such a story that brings us all to tears, no matter how many times we've seen it. The extended footage is also great as it reminds you of the great things that happened that you either didn't see or forgot about. We are so pleased with David and Waves Media and wouldn't have had it any other way! Thank you, David!

A few years back, Waves was the videographer at my best friend’s wedding!! From the moment we saw their video, my husband was set on them doing our wedding when it was our time!! Once we got engaged, my husband told me if we decided to have a videographer, there was no question that Waves would be our go-to!!!! After seeing them in action both at my best friend’s wedding almost two years ago and then this past weekend at our wedding, April 9th, I couldn’t imagine anyone else videoing our special day!! David and his assistant were AMAZING and we can’t wait to see the footage!! I would recommend Waves in a second, as they are professional, fun, blend in with the crowd, and do AMAZING work!!

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose WAVES as our videographer for our wedding. The video was very professionally put together. In addition to a full 1.5 hour movie of our wedding, I also loved watching the "Highlights" of the day, which happen to be edited to one of our favorite songs.

We must have watched our video in its entirety at least a dozen times, and laughed until we cried. Now we plan to throw a party, just to have our friends and family enjoy it with us.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! I would recommend WAVES to everybody.

After searching for a few months for a videographer we found Waves Media. We booked them right away after seeing their work. They were EXCELLENT! I highly recommend them to everyone! After the wedding I asked my husband if he noticed them because I didn't even realize they were there half the time, yet they captured every moment of our special day! Our video is INCREDIBLE and we are so happy we chose them! Everything we asked for to be in our wedding video was and we could not be happier with choosing Waves! Jonathan of Waves Media is such a professional. During our consultation he listened intently to the desires of my husband and I for our big day and got a feel for us as a couple. When the day came, he was on time and ready to go. He was there for all the must-capture moments but never in the way. Seeing our video shortly after we returned from our honeymoon we were both blown away. Jonathan didn't video tape our wedding; he captured our love story! The highlight and feature films are by far some of the best work I have ever seen and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jonathan. A true talent!

Dave is amazing! He's friendly and the kind of person you would want to invite to your wedding as a guest. I received the short film and teared up while watching it because he captured the mood of the entire weekend so well. He really is an artist. He's very easy to work with and calm and collected the entire time. It makes it easy to be in front of the camera (but you really don't even know hes there!). Also he is very affordable! I looked at videographers that were 3X the price of Waves Media and they don't compare. Definitely include in in your vendor roster!

My wife and I found Waves Media through a simple internet search, and we couldn't be happier. Before our big day, we had a long phone conversation and a video conference with David, who was always very friendly and very professional. He answered all of our questions and was always prompt in his emails. On the day of our wedding, David and Luke captured some amazing shots of our ceremony and reception, working seamlessly alongside our photographer. Both of these gentlemen were sociable and flexible - which we, nervous and excited as we were, certainly appreciated - and they blended right into the wedding party. I barely noticed they were there! We ordered both a short highlight video (5:12) and a longer feature video (29:17), which were delivered via a website. When I brought a blip in our feature video to David's attention, he found the problem right away and fixed the issue within a few days. Great customer service!

All in all, we're incredibly happy with the way our wedding video turned out. They understood what style we were looking for and delivered! I would recommend Waves Media to anyone hosting a wedding in the area. They do amazing work!

David & the team at Waves Media are incredibly talented - look no further! We love our wedding video - it truly captured the day, from getting ready to the dance floor! To compliment the amazing work, David is incredibly easy going, super friendly and fun to work with! What really blew me away is how many people commented that they didn't even realize we had videographers (even my own father, who knew they were there). We can’t say enough wonderful things about David and the Waves Media team!!! David is one of the most professional people we have ever met and his level of experience/expertise was truly reflected during our time working with him. Throughout the planning process, he was more than helpful and very easy to get in touch with. We live in Chicago, IL and he was available via email and phone any time we had questions. On our wedding day, David and his colleague were very professional and made sure everything flowed smoothly so we did not have to think about anything other than having a fabulous day. Many of our guests commented that they didn’t even notice that a videographer was there since they use such small video equipment! Our wedding videos were created in a very short period of time following our wedding and they are absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! David was able to capture every special moment… and more! Every time we watch our video, we feel like we can relive our special day over and over. Our family and friends can’t stop talking about how amazing our wedding videos are! We would highly recommend Waves Media to any couple looking to get married in the New England area!

PS- For anyone questioning whether or not to hire a videographer (which we were initially)… It is WELL worth the money! We couldn’t be happier!!!?

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon, and were so excited to see that our wedding video had been finished and waiting for us in our mailbox. WE LOVED IT! David and his wife Rebekah make a great team! The quality of the video is excellent. They were able to get the most amazing shots of my husband and I during our ceremony. They were very professional, and wonderful to work with. Thanks to WAVES, we will be able to re-live our wedding day any time we want, for the rest of our lives.

We had a fantastic experience with Waves Media! I would definitely recommend them to other brides. David got back to e-mails quickly and answered all of our questions. He also offers Blu-Ray DVD's which we really liked. In addition, he had no problems with our last minute requests for extra coverage on our wedding day. We got our DVD's in the mail very quickly (I believe within 3 weeks after our wedding) which was also great.

Dave at Waves Media was a pleasure to work with-- he has a sweet and enthusiastic personality; he seemed to really enjoy his work and to be genuinely happy for our happiness. He was our wedding photographer. He was very generous with his time during our meeting before the wedding, and during the event itself. On the day of the wedding he was prompt and highly professional. He worked very well with our photographer (which is important!), and was able to capture the entire day without being in the way at all. Dave finished our video quickly, and we are so happy with the end product. The sound quality and video was fantastic and he told our wedding day story beautifully. I would definitely recommend Dave and Waves Media. (It was also a great value).

Dave Schmitz and Waves Media is amazing! My husband and I went back and forth for months deciding if we could fit a videographer in our budget. I knew the importance of having one, but after seeing our teaser and short film, I can't stress enough that Waves Media was our best vendor! We booked Dave the week before our wedding at Church Landing (very last minute) and due to short notice, I only had a chance to have a few phone conversations with him before our wedding. Despite this, Dave was friendly, professional, and absolutely knew what to capture throughout the day to make our film so special. We barely even noticed he was there throughout the entire wedding and I remember asking him if he needed us to do anything specific for him and he said he was capturing what he needed. This couldn't have been more true! We received our teaser four days after our wedding and we were able to watch it during our honeymoon, which was awesome. Waves Media was an incredible value compared to the dozens of videographers I contacted and also the best quality. We highly recommend hiring Waves Media as we are so grateful that we will have our wedding film to always look back on our wedding day.

David did a a great time. He caught soo many precious moments, so glad we decided to hire him for our wedding. He was available last minute so it was meant to be... I would def. highly recommend his services!
