I truly cannot recommend Tom and Vantage Point Films enough. They did such a fantastic job!!! They were punctual, kind, and completely inconspicuous. I was initially worried it would be too much having multiple photographers and videographers around on our big day but I barely noticed Tom and his crew (and I mean that in the best way!). Despite going unnoticed, they captured absolutely AMAZING footage! We were truly STUNNED by our video. It far exceeded our expectations!!! The turn around time on our video also blew us away. Kind, skilled, efficient, and fairly priced. What more could you want?!
I also wanted to note, if you're on the fence on whether you really need a videographer for your big day - I get it...my husband and I felt the same way. But after all is said and done, the day went by in the blink of an eye. I truly barely remember most of it. We are SO glad we invested in video. It feels like the best "insurance policy" to be able to re-live and re-experience the day that you spend so much time and money planning!
Can't recommend enough - worth every penny - just go book them now!!! -

As soon as I saw the first 2 seconds of a clip of his work I was hypnotized, it was magical and it was the best I had ever seen. He was a dream come true to work with. His responsiveness was instantaneous and for me that was when I knew I needed to work with him. He is beyond talented and his professionalism is priceless. You do not know he is even there but you look for his smile and you want to hang out with him. Tom is a wonderful vendor and I would recommend him to everyone in the world. We were honored to work with him and he made our wedding planning process flawless and pure perfection. His work is stellar and we can't thank him enough. TOM YOU ROCK! -

We are so happy that we 1) decided to video our wedding and 2) hired Tom and his team at Vantage Point. From our first call with Tom, he explained everything and answered all our questions. We instantly felt comfortable with him and from the start he was so great to work with! He told us that we would barely ever see his team filming our wedding and they really stayed out of the way. Well, we can now say he was 100% right. Our parents told us if we didn’t tell them, they probably wouldn’t have even realized we have videographer. Tom and his assistant were awesome at our Aug 17, Linden Place Rhode Island wedding. We highly recommend Vantage Point Films and are so glad we found them for our big day!!

User994277 Sent on 10/29/2012Tom, owner of Vantage Point Films, is amazing! To be honest, initially, I wasn't thrilled about having a videographer. My concern was that he would "get in the way," and be so noticeable throughout the event. Well, per my photographer's recommendation (Alissa Dinneen Photography), as she used Tom at her wedding, we met with Tom, as she convinced me that it would be worth it and we wouldn't notice him throughout the event. Well, Alissa was right. I cannot say enough about working with Tom - he is professional, sweet, and patient. I loved having him document the "getting ready" experience, as well as, our pictures, ceremony, and reception. He really blended into the background - at times I forgot he was there, which is what you want. He worked seamlessly with Alissa and was so sweet to our families, friends, and bridal party. Tom went above-and-beyond the day of the wedding. My husband's limo got to our first picture location a little before we were done with hair/makeup/getting ready, and Tom went ahead to meet him and get him ready for our "first look" - it made me much calmer. Tom is a wonderful guy who I would recommend to any bride (or anyone who needs an event videographer). We can't wait to see the video - I know we will love it! :) -

Lori Sent on 02/20/2013One of my favorite vendors, by far! No one at the wedding even knew we had a videographer and the video we received is absolutely amazing. Having a video is something I will never regret and every time I watch it, it brings me right back to the day and the moment I said "I do." I've watched other wedding videos from other couples and am so so so thankful we went with Vantage Point - you're wedding video isn't something you can 're-do' if it doesn't come out perfect, so I would highly recommend picking a company who you trust will do a perfect job. We truly can't thank you enough, Tom! -

Christopher M. Sent on 11/29/2023An Underwhelming Wedding Video
We hired Tom based on sample videos from his website and reviews, as well as the recommendation from our wedding planner. We had very high expectations based on what we saw. We were left underwhelmed and somewhat disappointed with our final products, which we found to be lazy and seemed to be completed just for the sake of completion. Much of the raw footage is sloppy, the editing is very basic, transitions poor (or non- existent with lots of black screen time), and overall just mediocre. It doesn't feel like a $2,000 professional video by any means. There was little-to-no creative element in our video, which is seemingly very hard to achieve, given the time of year and the outdoor locations and venues of our wedding, all replete with natural splendor and beauty. Ultimately, our video is really just a recording of the day, and it cannot hold a candle to the work of our still photographer! We do not recommend this videographer for your wedding.
