Awesome experience!
Tim and Janet are a great team! They took the time to meet with us twice to go through our timeline and make sure they understood exactly how we envisioned the evening would flow, with the appropriate music to match! Didn’t even blink an eye when we told him all our musical selections for the processional, recessional, first dance and so on. I was confident he would be able to find everything just fine. I had pre-made cocktail hour and wedding hour playlists, and sending them to Tim via Spotify was super easy. He got everything right and I really enjoyed hearing the songs I had chosen for those 2 events. They nailed the bridal party’s and our entrances; the music was spot on, and Janet made sure everything flowed smoothly. Janet helped make sure everyone was where they needed to be and when, including the shuttle pick up at the end of the night. Having someone else be the point person was definitely a wise decision! Upbeat Entertainment are true professionals and I only wish the evening didn’t fly by so quickly!Tim and Janet are a great team! Without Janet I don't know how the reception would have even happened! Tim and Janet were amazing! Having Janet around the day of the wedding was so helpful! I didn’t have to worry about anything. She found and assembled the members of the wedding party, introduced events, and even kept watch for our shuttle to return and leave the venue. During dinner, Tim kept the music mellow and soft, I had a number of guests comment on how nice it was to be able to talk to each other during dinner. After the party started, the dance floor was never empty. He knew just what to play and when to play it. Great Job!Tim and Janet were amazing! Tim and Janet are top-notch! We've used them in the past for other events, but they did an absolutely amazing job for us! Followed our requests to the letter, were very supportive and kept the dance floor packed! Wish we had a 12 hour reception to enjoy all the music and fun! For whatever reason, my (now) husband and I were so reluctant to hire a DJ. We thought we could do it ourselves--were we ever wrong. Luckily, we finally listened to our family and friends and met with Tim and Janet from Upbeat Entertainment. With Upbeat, you get more than a DJ, you also get an event coordinator. Tim, DJ, was GREAT! I never wanted to leave the dance floor because he kept playing great song after great song. My friends even requested a song that was very new and not all that popular, because it was my favorite, and he was able to get it on the spot. I cannot say enough great things about Tim, but I really want to focus my review on Janet. She is what made hiring a DJ worth it. I'm not sure how other DJs operate, but Janet was present the entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to make sure things were going smoothly and on time. She helped the bridesmaids time their entrances, introduced the bridal party (and triple checked to make sure all names were pronounced right), she got the speeches and first dances going at the right time. She even came to our rescue several times when we realized we forgot items (like a bag for the dollar or celebration, dance). Per my husband's family tradition, our evening ended with shots of Jameson for all. Janet made sure the bartenders had enough time to pour the shots before the last song and even brought them to the dance floor so she could pass them out. She was on top of her game all night and made sure things were running smoothly so that I didn't have to worry about it. USE UPBEAT ENTERTAINMENT!!! Jan and Tim are a dynamic duo. One handled the "DJ booth," while the other was "on the ground" in constant contact with the bride and groom , keeping everything moving along. They were friendly, responsive and great to work with through the entire planning process. And they kept the party's going all night.Jan and Tim are a dynamic duo. We used Upbeat Entertainment for our recent wedding and they were fantastic! Not only did everyone enjoy the music and dancing but they made the entire reception run smoothly! They met with us and we decided what events were gonna happen and when and made a time line and stuck to it! My reception was perfect with most of the thanks going to them! Tim and Janet are a great team! Tim played all the songs that our guests wanted to hear while Janet kept the reception moving. As a bride, I love that they took care of the pacing of the evening (with my input beforehand, of course) so that I was free to enjoy my guests and new husband :) Upbeat Ent. really has it together. Professional, friendly, and you could tell that they knew what they were doing. I would absolutely recommend them.Tim and Janet are a great team! We could not have asked for better entertainment at our wedding reception. Tim and Janet are polite, professional, and very reliable. They are meticulous with pre-planning details, which makes for a very smooth event. They are flexible when presented with ideas. We received a plethora of compliments about how much fun our wedding reception was and how well it was run. We attribute all of these compliments to our DJs, who selected fun and appropriate music and engaged our guests throughout the events of the evening. We loved them so much that we talked our friends into hiring them for their wedding reception, which also was a great success. Tim did a great job accomodating me with the music selections I had chosen, while adding in things that he knew people liked to hear at weddings. Janet was amazing and was on top of the wedding schedule we had planned. She kept the wedding guests entertained with events and engaged them very well.
