Stacey, owner of Union Street Papery, was a true pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable, professional and genuinely cares about her customers. Stacey and her staff welcome you into their chic bridal bungalow where they give you personalized attention. Our invitations were perfect for our Tahoe wedding and had the rustic feel we were looking for. They have great ideas for destination weddings and are able to work within all budget ranges.
I would highly recommend Union Street Papery to any couple who wants a hands-on design experience with their invitations. The shop has a very large and varied portfolio of stationers they work with, and they're able to customize your invitation suite by budget, design, etc. I met with Nichele and tweaked an existing design from Smock paper, and I couldn't be happier with my invitations - they're absolutely gorgeous (and, they reflect my personal style, which I love). Nichele had amazing ideas about how to mix and match color and motifs while keeping it within our budget, and she was a pleasure to work with. They also recommended a calligrapher who was amazing - she was able to match the script on our invitations, so it all tied together really nicely.
It was a wonderful experience - thank you to Union Street Papery! Highly, highly recommended.
We bought our Save-the-Dates, our invitations and our programs (all Smock brand) from Union Street Papery and many people told us that they were the most beautiful wedding invitations they had ever received! We worked with Stacey and she was completely awesome and helped us throughout the entire process! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
We can’t rave enough about our wedding invitations that we had done with Union Street Papery. From the moment we walked into the store, every individual was attentive and very knowledgeable in their product. We worked closely with Sarah who was unbelievably helpful in helping us create the perfect invitation. Jennifer did a beautiful job of handwriting our envelopes…and not to mention, very quickly! All of the staff acted in a professional manner and guided us through the process of creating our invitation, proofing it, and ordering it in a timely manner. We have had amazing feedback from all of our guests…many have said it is the most beautiful invitation they have seen!
Union Street Papery made our wedding invitations. They have a cute and quaint store, and a separate bungalow/room in the back where you will find tons and tons of sample wedding invitations and aper samples! (I thought I was in heaven! :) )
Creating a wedding invitation can be very overwhelming -- what type of paper, type of ink, what color, the wording, artwork, monogram, etc. I spent an hour just looking at samples, but the staff was very helpful in making sure that I was happy with my selection.
Tina was the one that assisted me. After my visit at Union Street Papery, Tina and I just emailed most of the time which was very convenient for me. She was very professional, helpful, and was able to give suggestions to make sure that my invitations turned out just the way I wanted them to. The proofs came to me via email, and it was very quick. I think it only took a few days to finalize my order/proof and another week to get the actual invitations.
My husband and I are extremely happy with our invitations. We also received alot of positive comments from our guests.
Union Street Papery did our wedding invitations. The place is a small boutique store on charming Union Street in San Francisco. The staff there is very knowledgeable and friendly. We spent several hours looking through invitation albums and samples, and the staff was there to help us and answer any and all questions we had. They helped us decide on the wording of the invitation, which was great! They have been doing invitations for so long, that they know exactly what to say and how to say it. The whole process was rather simple. We received our order in just a few weeks, and we were good to go!
