    Incredible Wedding Experience

    The UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel hosted our wedding ceremony and reception recently, and they were absolutely phenomenal to work with! We booked the venue without seeing it, and with the help of Danielle Massey, our dream wedding came to life. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel has a multipurpose room that we had broken out in to two rooms for our reception and a backup ceremony space. They also have multiple smaller rooms, and an outside patio that is perfect for a ceremony or any event. The process of planning a wedding was very overwhelming for us, but Danielle and her team helped us through every step of the way, and provided direction up to and including on the wedding day. The front desk staff were very welcoming to us and our guests, and the facilities were great. Having the Golden Owl available for dining, and being located so close to the light rail, restaurants, and stores made it significantly easier for out of town guests. Overall, we had an incredible experience, and would without a doubt choose this venue again if we were to re-do our wedding. It was a great experience, and made for a wonderful night for us and our guests!

    Winter Gala

    We had a Winter Gala event here and the service was excellent. From the pre planning to the end of the evening the vendor did an outstanding job to serve us. The coordinator was excellent. She was very friendly and her suggestions for the evening made the evening run smoothly. Any time that I called her she was always available. I would recommend this vendor for your next event.

    Great Experience, great value!

    My wife and I decided with little notice to get married this year and we reached out to the Marriott and we connected with Laura. Laura was so accommodating, extremely helpful for our wants and needs, our blind spots for things we didn’t think about, and keeping everything on track! She worked with our vendors and got everything aligned for what turned out to be an amazing experience all around!

    I DO recommend this venue!

    We planned our wedding on a 3 month timeline, and thanks to Laura Russell at UNC Marriott, we were able to pull it off!

    We didn’t have a wedding coordinator, so Laura was able to step in and keep us on track for everything. This experience was so much better than I could have imagined, and our guests had so much fun! I cannot thank Laura and her team enough for all that they did to make our day perfect and complete. From coordinating with our vendors, to making sure everything went as planned and on time, it took the stress out of the whole day!

    The thoughtful extras like having champagne sent up to our Bridal Suite (which is incredible, btw!) to making sure all of our things were carefully collected and ready for us when we checked out, really made me appreciate their professionalism more.

    I would definitely recommend this location as a venue for your special day!

    The Best Wedding Venue

    The UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel and Conference Center was a great choice for my wedding. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here. The majority of our guests also stayed here for the wedding. The location was wonderful, the food was great, the staff members were professional, and everyone had a blast.

    Excellent Venue for a Wedding

    In June 2022, we had a 200+ guest Indian wedding with 4 events over three days. UNCC Marriott is a beautiful hotel, newly built, with the most wonderful staff. Everyone we worked with, particularly Danielle Massey, was instrumental in managing every single detail of our wedding with flawlessness. I am very detail-oriented. I must have bombarded UNCC with a million emails to ensure our wedding weekend was smooth, and they definitely delivered beyond our expectations! Every single person at the hotel showered our guests with warmth and hospitality. We sincerely thank Danielle Massey and the entire UNCC team for making our weekend the most memorable time of our lives!

    We Loved UNC Charlotte Marriott

    Great experience planning our wedding with UNC Charlotte Marriott from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, spacious, and all of the staff were helpful and kind. The outdoor space was great to host our cocktail hour. All of our guests enjoyed being on a light rail stop to take to uptown. Danielle was our contact person and day of planning coordinator from the hotel. She was amazing! Very responsive, answered our questions, organized, and connected us to whoever we needed for room blocks, food tasting, and anything else. She assisted with logistics to set up our decorations and helped more than we could have asked behind the scenes. We were able to upgrade to a suite room that had a great view and space for us to relax or host family/friends. All of the food was amazing by the hotel Chef who was helpful in making dietary accommodations for our guests. Our guests, family, and friends only have good things to say about the hotel, staff, and wedding reception we had. Our friends made a point to tell us how attentive the bartending staff was and how friendly they were. We could not have asked for a better experience all the way around!
