  The best catering company that I have ever worked with. The best food we had at a wedding event. From planning the wedding menu and all the final details, Artisan Chef Catering has it all. For the wedding we had stations; pasta, sliders and fajita. This allowed our guests to come together as they made their decision as to which station, they wanted to try first. The deserts were shooters a very fun idea: Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Pumpkin Pie and Apple Crisp Cookie with Apple Compote, Caramel and Whipped Cream. The food was absolutely outstanding. The Artisan Team is professional, personable, and extremely friendly and definitely worth being part of your event. A huge shout out to Jamie and her remarkable team for being part of our big day.

  The butternut squash ravioli are to die for!

  The Catering team was amazing to work with they were so sweet and thoughtful. During the cocktail hour they made us our own little apps board so we could snack while we took some photos and they made sure to keep our dinners warm and covered while we mingled with our guests. They were a breeze to work with and the butternut squash was to die for everyone was talking about it!

  Flexible, Kind, and Delicious

  A 2020 review for a wedding that never happened. But let's rewind to better, healthier times. While in planning mode, we were dropped by our caterer with only a few months to spare. Artisan Chef Catering heard our frantic plea and booked us on the spot. To sweeten the deal, their food was delicious and price on point. Ok now fast forward, and they were incredibly flexible and kind in postponing our wedding until 2021. Now it's 2021 and we are still in the midst of the pandemic and we had to make the very hard call to cancel. Artisan Chef has been with us through this whole journey and we are grateful to them. Choose them for your next event -- you won't be disappointed!

  Amazing food!!

  We worked with Alison Kerrigan, who was extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful through every step of our wedding planning process. As a COVID bride, we semi-planned and rescheduled our wedding a couple of times and Alison was understanding and helped us adapt to the circumstances. Her enthusiasm for the food and for our wedding was incredible; especially when it's sometimes hard to be as enthusiastic about your own wedding when you are in the depths of wedding planning (and ESPECIALLY during 2020/2021), that meant a lot.
  
  The food itself was incredible! Since we were having a small guest list, and a casual backyard affair with no dancing, the food really was the central part of the event. Alison came up with great ideas- like adding a first course of a chickpea curry/stew with naan and mini samosas as a nod to my Indian heritage. I wasn't sure about how Indian food would turn out but, all credit to Chef Katie Newt, it was actually for me, the highlight of an already incredible menu. The beef tenderloin skewers and hazelnut crusted chicken were my other favorites, and my new husband (!) especially loved the chicken dumpling appetizers. They helped us get a cake (we picked plain vanilla with raspberry and it was shockingly good, I thought!) and bartending staff (super nice, great drinks).
  
  Two Chefs/ Artisanal Chefs were easily the thing that tied our wedding together and we absolutely loved it. I should also mention that they were affordable and genuinely concerned with how to help us envision the menu we wanted while keeping costs reasonable. Their quotes were one of the lowest we had, which is why it is especially exciting to report that the food was exceptional. [FYI, we asked to allow our guests to choose their entrees at the table, and if we had them pre-fill their choices, the quote would have been much lower, if that is helpful for anyone].
  
  I would hire them again without a second thought (and in fact, we were thinking we needed to have an event again sometime, just so we could hire them again!). If you are thinking about it, don't hesitate to reach out to them.

  Flexible and Delicious

  Given COVID, we changed plans in July for our October wedding. Jamie was responsive and helpful in helping us plan last minute. Their team served our "before we do BBQ" with tacos from their van which were a huge hit. The day of the wedding, the food was amazing. My fiancé said it was the best meal of his life and he's pretty hard to please. Would definitely recommend this team!

  Highly Recommend

  We got married on 10/10/2020 during Covid. We were supposed to get married at a venue but that quickly changed and we had to host a small wedding ceremony at our home. Planning a wedding is stressful on a normal day but Covid definitely added to that. Once I started working with Two Chefs, I immediately felt at ease. We had no idea what we were doing and Jamie led us though the process and made me feel confident that we could pull it off. The food was amazing, the Chef was super professional and did a wonderful job. If you’re looking for fantastic food and a great team, definitely go with Two Chefs Are Better Than One, your guests will be talking about the delicious food you served for some time after your event, just as mine are.

  Ecstatic and Full Bride and Groom!

  When you get married food is at the top of the list for what makes the perfect event. That delicious, perfect, memorable food is exactly what Two Chefs brought to our wedding. Two Chefs came highly recommended to us and we couldn’t be more thankful. Two Chefs was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and they helped us build the base of how we wanted our entire wedding to look and feel. We worked directly with Tara to plan our wedding. I really loved working with her! She had great ideas and embraced ours. I really loved all the details she put into our wedding food to make it “on theme.” Our wedding was at a vineyard. We have big Italian families and I just wanted it to feel like a big family dinner. Ideas like a bruschetta bar, gelato for dessert and other Italian dishes really brought this idea to life. And even with all the restrictions around COVID, she helped us figure out ways to keep our original ideas and keep our guests safe. I really appreciate Tara guiding us through the safety process.
  Our guests are still RAVING about the food. I got some many calls the next day saying specifically how delicious the food was. Family members are trying to figure out how and when we can have another event so that Two Chefs can cater again! The short rib, the butternut squash ravioli, the chicken piccata, the gelato …. Everything was delicious and perfect! I am getting hungry right now just writing this now!
  
  I also found Two Chefs easy to work with, not just because of the collaborative working style, but also because of their extensive experience working at our venue, Fulchino Vineyard. Because they have worked at the venue many times, they knew the ins and outs of the venue and have a trusting relationship with the owners. They know the setup, the best place to set up the tables and how to work well with the owners. This allowed me to sit back and not worry about the flow, set up/presentation of the food. Tara was also that amazingly thoughtful person that came over and asked she could bring me and my husband some food while we were taking our pictures. Love that about her.
  
  I highly recommend using Two Chefs for your wedding or event. I really loved working with Tara and the Two Chefs team, and I look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you all so very, very much!

  Super helpful and flexible

  We got great reviews on the food from all our guests! From the beginning of our planning process through the wedding night, the whole staff was very flexible and helpful to help make our vision a reality. They did a great job setting up all the tables and decor just how we envisioned it. They frequently checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

  Felt like family catered our wedding!

  These folks are amazing and their food is too! We knew from the first appetizer at our tasting that Two Chefs was going to be catering our wedding. There’s the fact that everyone we worked with was out of this world kind, but their food really speaks for itself. “Bad wedding food” is a trope for a reason, we’ve all been to weddings where the catering is memorable for the wrong reasons. But everything here was a real home run. The variety is expansive, and every single detail was phenomenal. We wound up with a fun, eclectic buffet that we’ll remember fondly forever. Shout out to Allison, who worked with us so thoughtfully and really pulled off some magic tricks. Tara and Katie and Joe, the entire team made us feel like we were putting on one big party. Which is a great feeling, and maybe a rare one in such a weird year. We changed venues and cut our guest list considerably because of the pandemic. Two Chefs was there for us the whole way. Their pricing is fair and completely up front. They facilitated rentals for us too which made us both feel a little less crazy in the run up to our wedding. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

  We LOVED every aspect of working with Two Chefs. They were very prompt in their responses, easy to work with, and fair. Best of all.... the food. It was INCREDIBLE! Everyone kept commenting how it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We were able to arrange for such a fun setup of stations - fajitas, sliders, and pasta - and everything was top-notch. Best of all, they set us up with leftovers, so now we get to enjoy the food after the wedding!

  The food!

  When we initially booked our venue, we were told that we needed to use Two Chefs. I'm so glad we did. Not only was the food amazing (we were told by several guests it was the best wedding food they have ever had), we were able to customize it so it wasn't your boring beef or chicken dish that is luke-warm and served at the same time. We had some really fun stations that kept things interesting.
  
  On top of that everyone we worked with were incredibly responsive and sweet. I'd really like to shout out JoAnn. She remembered us from our tasting months ago (picked us right out of our parties) and was happy to accommodate any request we had, from seeking out my celiac/lactose free Mother to make sure she was all set, to my Bride's Grandmother who was leaving early and really wanted a donut during dinner. JoAnn bent over backwards for us never made us feel guilty about anything we needed.

  I cannot thank Two Chefs enough for helping us with our amazing fall wedding-- special shout out to Jamie! The food was amazing--all of our guests complimented on it and continued to ask us who our catering company was. Their attentive to details is outstanding--their staffs helped me a lot in figuring out the small details of our wedding, which is a LIFE SAVIOR when you are already stressed out leading to the event. Super pleasant experience, I will recommend two chefs to anyone who needs a catering company for all occasions :)

  We came for the food, but stayed for the incredible wedding expertise

  Two Chefs is a favorite for my family. We had them cater birthday parties and baby showers so when it came to our wedding they were on the short list. Alison, Tara and the rest of the event coordination staff helped me plan my wedding. They were there to help coordinate other vendors, they were a liaison between us the couple and the staff at our reception venue.
  
  They incorporated all our notes at the tasting to create an incredible meal that was exactly what we wanted. They helped us plan a private dinner for us me and my husband before all the guests ate and they were flexible and helpful leading right up to the wedding.
  
  I wish I could get married more than once so I can hire them again and again.

  Two Chefs catered our September 2018 wedding at the Pierce House in Lincoln, MA. We worked with them for over a year leading up to our Big Day and we can't express enough how patient Alison Kerrigan and her entire team was with us throughout the decision-making process. Catering was our biggest budget item, so we naturally had a lot of questions and deliberation - plated or buffet? Late-night snacks or sundae station? Or both? Allison always put us ease. She even helped us maximize our budget by making recommendations so we could invest more in one part of the wedding over another that guests generally don't remember. She's a total pro that has this knowledge from many years of experience and we were so thankful she imparted some of that onto us as her clients.
  
  When the Big Day came, Alison and Two Chefs made sure we were well taken care of. Little things like having a drink waiting for us at the end of the ceremony/start of the reception (yay!), and a dedicated server bring us trays of hors d'oeuvres (double yay!) helped us relax and celebrate with our guests. We were also able to have each entree option brought to the sweetheart table so we could have a taste of everything.
  
  So many of our guests shared how delicious the food and wonderful the service was. Great service was very important to us and we had that in spades with Two Chefs. We felt so special to have such thoughtful people with us on the most important day of our life, and can't wait to work with them again on future events for our family.

  Two Chefs was a pleasure to work with for our wedding, and they made some excellent food for an overall reasonable price. From start to finish their staff was incredibly personable and nice, one of the coordinators said that they treat every wedding as if it's for their own daughter and it really shows. The only complaint that we could have is that there were too many options from which to choose!
  
  They seamlessly coordinated with the venue to create a stress-free experience (invaluable), and they also made sure we (Bride & Groom) had food during the cocktail hour. Overall, we would definitely recommend them to anyone.

  Two Chef’s is amazing! The food was awesome, and so many people complimented on how great the food tasted. Even though we were told that we would not eat on our wedding day, Two Chef’s made sure that both my wife and I ate and had a good time. They were incredibly flexible when there was a mix up with the timing of the night, and did everything they could do to make our night perfect. We planned the wedding from out of town which can be difficult, but Two Chef’s did everything they could to make it easiest for everyone. We are so thankful to Two Chef’s and the work that they put in to make sure that our wedding day was perfect. We would recommend them to anyone in the Boston area looking for a company that is flexible, affordable, and makes delicious food.

  Two Chefs Catering was a wonderful choice for our wedding! Our event coordinator was responsive from the very first call. Our tasting was wonderful and they made every detail feel like it was the day of the wedding. They were responsive to our feedback. They worked with us within our budget and made changes that were needed for us.
  
  On the day of the wedding, they had their staff set everything up and they were so accommodating to our guests. I did not feel like we were stuck within a contract but that we were truly being catered to.

  From the very start everyone at Two Chefs was FABULOUS! They were the first caterer to respond to us, allow us to customize our menu, and put together a private tasting where we received top notch service and food! We haven't stopped receiving compliments on how delicious the food was at our wedding. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was too. Everyone who worked our wedding was so personable and professional. The entire Two Chefs team really was an extension of our wedding coordinator, always there to lend a hand and help keep the flow of the wedding moving. One of our biggest requests was getting through dinner in a timely manner, which is why we chose to do stations and we are so happy we did. Everyone went through the stations and was eating within 20-30 minutes, then could go back up for seconds or thirds for another hour, it worked out perfectly just how we envisioned. We highly recommend having Two Chefs cater your wedding!

  Hiring Two Chefs to do the catering for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made. Tara was absolutely amazing, I loved working with her. She was patient, answering my hundreds of questions, always made me feel calm, I trusted her 100%, & she was extremely personable and enjoyable to work with. The staff the day of were also great, super helpful and friendly- everything was beautiful as they brought in extra flowers & decorations that matched our wedding theme. They made sure everything went seamlessly—I didn’t have to worry about anything and was able to focus on enjoying the day, from setup to breakdown & even sending me home with extra desserts since they knew I had a sweet tooth! The food was delicious, we got many compliments from guests. We did the silver buffet, guests went through the line really quickly so there weren’t long waits & the food was presented beautifully. Tara worked with us, helping us stay within our budget while also having ample & delicious passed appetizers, dinner, and desserts, & helped make our vision of the day a reality as we had many DIY pieces that they helped setup.
  
  We were planning this from out of town and Tara was extremely flexible with our schedules for the tasting and walk through. Our original venue shut down 6 months before the wedding (eek!). Tara was on top of it, giving us a head’s up when she started hearing through the grapevine that the venue was having troubles, & then making herself completely available to take our calls and answer emails, actively helping us to find a new venue which did not seem like part of her job description. Tara also made the wedding day perfect and just how we envisioned it, again helping with things that I wouldn’t have even expected her to help with, truly going above and beyond. My husband & family agree that Tara made the wedding what it was—a happy and flawless day! We are so grateful to her & Two Chefs. Without hesitation I fully recommend Two Chefs for your wedding!!!

  Everything I could have wanted and more

  Not only is the food out of this world, they were also very responsive and professional. For months after my wedding people were still commenting to me about the food. We went with a three station buffet and there was honestly something for everyone and most people went for seconds and thirds! I would recommend this company to anyone!!!

The food was absolutely delicious (we are still receiving compliments), and they were able to accommodate our many quirky requests. They were also so patient with us as we tweaked the details to make our dream wedding possible on our budget. Their entire staff was so friendly to work with - we loved having them around during our wedding.   If you are getting married, hire Alison and Two Chefs. The obvious review, the food was fantastic, hire them for that alone. It was everything else Alison did that makes them so fantastic! She dealt with our nut allergy and vegetarian preferences. She created a menu based on flavors and foods we like and offered different styles of dining (we did stations). She genuinely wanted feedback from the tasting and changed one of the dishes because she thought they could do something better. The day of the wedding her staff were amazing. She was helping with table set up and even pinned on boutonnieres! Alison is just fantastic at her trade but is so amazingly warm, kind and fun you just would want to work with her even if the food sucked, which it didn't!!! We so highly recommend Alison and Two Chefs!
