Choosing Tanu Verma and The Wedding Troupe was a great decision. We felt an instant connection with her warmth and generosity of spirit. She gave us GUIDANCE with frequent communication and vendor recommendations. From the start, she was organized; every meeting had a clear purpose and a direction for the next meeting. Her experience helped so much in planning a smooth event which included an outdoor ceremony, cocktails, and a dinner/dance reception.
She was also PRESENT in the ways that matter most. Her focus was always with us and, when we needed her to be physically present, she was available and ready to help. Even when she was not with us, we were prepared and confident because she had given us the information we needed to move forward in every situation.
And, perhaps best of all, she is CALM. And not just unflappable, but a calming presence. Here is just one small but not insignificant example. In the moments just before the ceremony began, our little flower girl, Sarah, 3, had a melt-down. We made it clear all along that her participation was completely voluntary; she was supposed to hold her brother's hand and walk to her mom, the pastor. The guitarist was playing, everyone was looking, she was sobbing. HOWEVER, Tanu squatted down right next to her and had a conversation. We'll never know what was said, but Tanu took her time and Sarah began to quiet – it took exactly as long as it was supposed to take. Then she was ready: she held her brother's hand and walked calmly down the path to the waiting guests, her mom, dad and uncle. It was a small miracle, but a miracle nevertheless. At first we thought, "She must have a great affinity for the young" but later we decided this is what Tanu always brings to the table - confidence, reassurance and peace.

Tanu is amazing! She is fabulous, experienced, attentive, resourceful and very affordable. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her help for my son's wedding.
I could keep my calm throughout the wedding events because we had Tanu and her team to execute all of the details. In fact, she went above and beyond our expectations! Everything ran so smoothly under her and her team! We received several great comments from friends and family on Tanu. Have you ever met a superwoman? When you meet Tanu, you will. Leading up to our wedding, several of our friends asked us how wedding planning was going and how stressful it can be...our usual answer was that all we have to do is put on nice clothes and show up, Tanu and her team are taking care of the rest...and our wedding weekend was the best weekend of our life. All thanks to Tanu. Every single detail exceeded our expectations. We had an Indian wedding, which if you don't know is kind of like having a big fat greek wedding (or bigger), and Tanu has tons of connections in India - from our invitation cards to our thank you notes and figuring out jewelry for the bridesmaids and SO MUCH MORE -- things that we would never even have thought of. Tanu & her team never complained, never were frustrated, and truly went above and beyond to afford us the wedding of our dreams. We had tons of people come up to us and ask for her information. She may be new to the business, but her passion for this field is unmatched and anyone who gets to work with her would be beyond lucky. She will do everything in her power to make sure that the bride and groom, their families, and their guests experience an unforgettable event. Look no further and not only will you not be disappointed, you will be glad that Tanu becomes a part of your family. -

Tanu and her team are incredible. We didn't just get what we paid for - we got much more. Can't appreciate them enough for the quality of their work & the timely manner they delivered everything in. Everyone across both our families were praising them for how well behaved everyone on their team was - and how comfortable they made everyone feel. Thank you for being there for us on our biggest & brightest day!
