    Great Wedding Service!

    We recently used The Trolley Company for our wedding, and we couldn't be more pleased with their services. From the Welcome Party to the ceremony and finally the Reception, they flawlessly coordinated all transportation for our guests. One of the highlights was the seamless communication with the company. The planning process was stress-free, thanks to their responsive and accommodating team. They were attentive to our specific needs and made helpful suggestions to enhance the overall experience. The vehicles were immaculate and well-maintained. Moreover, the flexibility of The Trolley Company in adapting to any last-minute changes or unexpected situations was truly commendable.     Fantastic Transportation Service!

    Eva and the team at The Trolley Company were fantastic! They provided transportation to and from the room block for our wedding and the venue. Eva, the owner, was so laid back and easy to work with! It was a real pleasure! She was helpful in terms of figuring out how much transportation we would need and timing of it all.     When all we needed was a ride, they offered an experience.

    We got married at the end of May 2022, which was right in the heart of the post-COVID wedding surge. Despite how popular of a time it was to hire vendors, Eve made us feel like we had nothing short of her full attention. I'm talking the kind of attention where we consistently got replies to our emails within the hour. They handled all the planning of the logistics and I was so surprised when I noticed that the driver of our bus showed up a early to learn the route and to practice maneuvering in our venue's parking lot. He was a pleasure to chat with on the ride home and made one of the less glamorous aspects of getting married a breeze. We're glad we chose them to safely get us and our guests home from our wedding and would recommend that you chose them for your wedding as well.

    The Perfect Trolley Company for Any Wedding

    I absolutely love the Trolley Company, they have a wonderful classic trolley and tours all around Western North Carolina. Also a wonderful, kind, and generous owner. all around a Great Business.
    Perfect for weddings of all types, as well as so many different events.

    Lovely Experience!

    The Trolley Company provided transportation services for our wedding, they were puntual, professional and friendly. Our driver was very attentive and had a big smile the whole time which it was great! Eva was a delight to work with, she was very kind and made the booking process very easy. Our wedding had to be postponed and she work with us to accommodate our new date.

    We got 2 24 passenger busses to take guests from the Inn we were staying at to the wedding venue and back. Everything went off without a hitch!
    I want to also mention that as organized as I was, when I paid the final balance I had no idea that I overpaid! Eva called and said she got my check, informed me I’d overpaid, and issued me a CC refund! Super upstanding trustworthy businesses!!!
    While I didn’t personally ride in the busses I heard they were nice and had good A/C!
    Also, this was the only company I could find who would transport to our venue, which was up a mile long steep gravel mountain road!
    Guest transportation isn’t the most glamorous or high profile aspect of a wedding, and when done right probably isn’t very memorable (meanwhile cakes and flowers get all the attention, lol) but wanted to give props to The Trolley Co because they rocked it!

    Mountain Wedding Transportation

    Book with Eva! She has an extensive fleet and runs a family owned and operated company. Prices were fair and comparable. Service and drivers were on time and polite and gratuity is included up front... one less thing to worry about on the day of. Also, safe and reliable which is a must when having a mountain wedding.

    The Trolley Company provided transportation service for our daughter's wedding. The logistics of transporting 200 guests staying at 6 different hotels from Highlands NC to Lonesome Valley, NC was somewhat challenging, but the Trolley Company handled it without a hitch. Many of our guests commented on the professionalism of the drivers which is important on those windy mountain roads!

    Just used The Trolley Co for our daughter's destination wedding in Cashiers, NC. From the very beginning until the end of the event, Eva Ritchey was responsive, professional, a true pleasure to work with! The transportation part of the wedding was tricky, moving guest from both Cashiers and Highlands to and from the venue (Sawyer Family Farmstead, which was also incredible!). Eva's team handled all of it beautifully! Thank you, Eva, we highly recommend your company!

    We worked with Eva, from The Trolley Company, to provide transportation for our guests to a brewery the day before the wedding, as well as between the venue and their hotels on the day of the wedding.

    Eva worked with us to accommodate our budget and transportation needs and did so with the utmost professionalism.

    We would highly recommend the Trolley Company's services.

    Eva and the bus driver we worked with at The Trolley Company were fantastic. Eva was quick to answer the many questions I had and the driver was professional, courteous and punctual. My now husband was initially opposed to getting a bus to transport guests for the sheer cost alone, but I talked him into it and it was a great decision. So nice for ourselves and our guests not to have to worry about drinking and driving, and we all had a lot of fun on the bus! Plus, The Trolley Company has really competitive rates. Would highly recommend them for any event!

    Eva and her team were a pleasure to work with. She worked with me ahead of time as we worked on our timeline, and even offered suggestions about routes and pickup/dropoff times. We originally hoped for their trolley, but were still very happy with the school bus. Many guests commented how fun it was to go up a mountain in a school bus and relive those glory days. We also heard the bus driver was friendly and fun, which was an added bonus. Highly recommend.

    My husband was in charge of transportation, and I'm so glad he chose the trolley. Having the trolley for both the rehearsal dinner, and wedding day added an awesome touch that didn't break the bank!

    Nice transportation

    We booked The Trolley Company to take our Guests from the reception back to the hotel and we booked the 1948 Chrysler for myself and my husband to take from the ceremony to the reception. Unfortunately, the day or so before our wedding planner let us know that the Chrysler was not going to be available. The Trolley Company quickly switched our cars and gave us a credit for the difference. They were very helpful and in the end it all worked out.

    Eva and team provided the trolley for our wedding party and our getaway car at the end of the night. They were on-time, flexible, and accommodating. It was special to have our families and wedding party be able to ride with us after the ceremony, and all arrive together to the reception. The classic Chrysler was the perfect car to ride away in as Mr. and Mrs.!

    While everything worked out perfectly on our wedding day, the planning process with the Trolley Company was a bit of a challenge. As a bride, I was looking for guidance on how to best coordinate transportation logistics for our wedding day, given our timeline, headcount, and venue. Although the Trolley Company was able to speak to their services, they were very hands off with guiding our decision process to make the transportation run smoothly.

    I had a lot on my plate and didn't have time to handle back and forth phone calls, so I tasked my husband with this piece of the planning. He also felt it was extremely hard to coordinate them, especially given the lack of technology tools to support panning. At one point, they even lost our reservation and had forgotten to write everything down.

    Once we moved past that, we were assured there would be no issues on the day of and there weren't. The guests were happy and enjoyed themselves and we LOVED our getaway car, especially our driver, William. It really made a difference to have transportation available to our guests and a private moment to share on the way back to the hotel after the ceremony.

    I wouldn't steer anyone away from using their services, but would advise to take extra, diligent care when planning with them.

    The Trolley Company's reply:

    Allyne, we apologize that you did not feel our service was up to our high standard. I do want to address two concerns. We did not lose your reservation. When you called I was mistakenly looking at the wrong month. Your reservation was always there. We have an excellent system in our office that includes numerous cross checks. In 3 years of service we have never lost a reservation. I did check with the drivers assigned to your wedding, one of them being our lead driver with three years experience. They do not recall any issues and said everyone arrived at the wedding on time and departed on time. If there are any particular technology tools you think we could benefit from, we would love for you to share that information with us.     It honestly hurts to write this review because all of our other vendors were amazing and the Trolley company was great to work with up until the wedding. First off, the driver let our guests know that he was mad about having to be there. He said that he was supposed to be off, but other wedding booked a second vehicle last minute, so he was called in to work our wedding. After the bus was loaded, he told the guests that he didn't know where to go or what venue the wedding was at. My brother had to pull out his phone and route the driver there. Several guests complained that the driver drove way too fast and they were holding on for dear life. They were concerned because there were several older guests and children on the trolley. We rented a house in the middle of a small community in the woods. My planner had coordinated with the driver where we were staying that night and gave him our overnight bags to give to us. When we got to the neighborhood our driver said that he didn't want to go any further and made us get out on the dirt road, where there were no street lights. We had never been to the house before, so we walked around in the dark looking for it for 20 minutes. We didn't receive our overnight bags from the driver, so we thought they might have ended up at the house or the hotel where my dad was staying. They weren't there, so we contacted the hotel and they only received my dad's and husband's bags. We contacted the Trolley Company the next day and they said they looked through the bus and didn't see them, so my planner must not have put them on the bus. We watched the security video at the hotel the next to see if my bag ended up missing after being dropped off at the hotel. In the video, we saw the driver mishandling my dad's and husband's bags, then throwing the bags down. He ran back through the lobby and tried to pry open the automatic doors with his hands because they weren't opening quick enough for his liking. They won't return our messages.

    This company uses their personal religious views to discriminate against human beings. Shame on them! There are PLENTY of other companies in the area. If you want to make a valuable contribution to the communities in WNC, I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

    Do not waste your time or money with this company can't believe in this day and age there are people out there who will refuse there services because of someones sexual orientation this truly sickness me. #boycott

    Eva was rude to me during the whole process. She made a rude comment about my polyester blend dress. She said my shellfish was disgusting. She wouldn't let my guest bring his pigskin football on the trolley. Hopefully my next wedding I will pick a different transportation service.

    Horrible company, choosing to throw hate toward a loving couple because they do not fit into their sense of "normal" and using old testament bible verses to shame their choice to marry. Meanwhile catering to 3rd or 4th marriages in polyblend dresses. Sickening
