  Only Wedding planner to go with

  Amy and her team, including her husband were amazing. My wife and our families constantly were telling each other how they were worth every penny. From advocating for what we wanted during planning stages, to seeing our vision come to life and keeping everything running smoothly. When you tell her to do something, it gets done. Behind the scenes she is making things happen without stressing us out. We were not stressed at all and were able to enjoy the every aspect of the wedding. Again we cannot express our gratitude to Storybook Event for making our wedding memorable for not just my wife and I but our families and guests as well. We looked at many different wedding planners during the beginning stages, storybook was the only choice we felt good about and it was the best choice we could have made.

  The Storybook Event is the Best

  Amy is absolutely wonderful. Prompt, hardworking, attention to detail, enthusiastic and every event she has helped us plan was flawless. The first event had to be downsized from 300 to 9. She did that so well that we ended doing two more events! If she says yes to work with you, you can relax.

  When we first spoke with Amy, our minds were instantly at ease. Even before she was our planner, she gave us confidence we would be in great hands - asking the right questions and giving us advice on things we hadn’t thought of yet. We wanted a planner who would be an extension of us, and we could trust to execute and keep things in order on our special day. The months leading up, she was always available to answer questions and ensured we were prioritized despite how busy she was with other clients. During the week of our wedding, she was with us every final step of the way to get everything accomplished for our big day! On our wedding day, Amy and Mukti were right by our sides keeping us on time, executing on last minute details, and still going above and beyond until our magical day was complete.   Amy is the best!!!

  I don't even know where to start other than if you are looking for the best wedding planner in the industry - Amy is it!!!! She is absolutely incredible at what she does and our special day went seamlessly because of her! She is extremely organized and was always one step ahead of me along the way! She truly goes above and beyond for her clients! She is able to command a room, keep vendors in check, stick to the timeline (we were even ahead of schedule) all while making the bride and groom feel at ease throughout the day! We are so thankful to have had Amy as our wedding planner and know our day was perfect because of her! She's simply the best!!!!

  COVID-19 Success Story

  From the time Justin and I first met Amy, we knew she was the wedding planner for us! She is fully committed to her clients having the best possible wedding experience.
  From the beginning, Amy was great at keeping us on track with a planning schedule and adapting accordingly.
  My groom and I are busy working professionals, and Amy made the process effortless by offering us different options for each vendor within our price range. She thinks of all of the small details, so that you don't have to. As a bride who had not previously thought out the details of my dream wedding, I really appreciated her guidance.
  
  We initially were planning a ~250 person fusion Indian wedding for May 2020. Due to COVID-19, 6 weeks before our wedding date, we made the difficult decision to proceed with our ceremony, but only with immediate family present. Amy was integral in making this happen. We were able to switch venues and have an intimate ceremony in the heart of downtown Houston. We could not have done this without Amy; throughout this process she had such a positive attitude and was receptive to all of our requests and changes. Everything went seamlessly and we couldn't have asked for more.
  
  We have the best memories from our wedding day, and we look forward to planning our eventual reception with The Storybook Event! We strongly recommend Amy and The Storybook Event for their adaptability, expertise, and for making each couple's unique vision come to life (even during a pandemic).

  Amazing planner!

  Goodness. I don't even know where to begin! Amy is OUTSTANDING. I mean, really, she is phenomenal. From the very beginning to the very end, she was there ensuring every detail was perfect (even when she didn't have to be!) She went above and beyond in catering to our every need and making our vision come to life. It is evident that she is well respected among vendors, and this is reflected in the way that they interact with her. She also does a great job with crowd management at each event, ensuring that guests are adhering to the set timeline. Amy is everything I needed, and it is because of her that our event was a success. It would not have been half of what it was without her. We are STILL receiving compliments about how great everything was and how smoothly everything ran!

  DP Wedding

  Indian weddings can be extremely stressful and take quite some time to plan. From the very beginning Mukti and Amy made Dhruvin and I feel comfortable and stress free. From every phone call, text message, and email everything was so professional and done on time. I remember after every phone conversation with Mukti or Amy I would say “I feel so much better after talking to you” they truly lifted the weight off my shoulders throughout the entire process. Any issues that came up while planning and during the actual events were automatically resolved right away without me even knowing. All of our events started on time and went so smoothly which is very rare in Indian weddings. Also one very important factor Dhruvin and I won’t forget is how they handled the photo groups on our wedding day, we only had a certain amount of time to take pictures but they took initiative and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted from BOTH sides of the family on time. I truly don’t know what I have done without Mukti and Amy and I’m super thankful for all the help they have given us with everything, I highly recommend The Storybook Event for your wedding planning needs they will not disappoint. Best team ever!

  Weddings can be extremely stressful, but thanks to Amy & her team, I was actually able to enjoy my wedding! From the initial meeting I had with Amy, I was confident that I needed her to be a part of my big day in order for our wedding to run smoothly. She was a tremendous help throughout my entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, we had Amy, Priya & Vidhya on our team, and it was the best decision I made! With around 800 guests, our wedding was on time and finished exactly at the time we needed to finish. We got numerous compliments on how amazing and professional our wedding planning team was.   Amazing wedding planner!!

  Hiring Amy and her team was the first and BEST decision we made during our wedding planning! We were referred to her by multiple friends who had nothing but glowing reviews. We had many phone conversations and felt a connection with Amy despite never actually meeting her in person before hiring her. She went above and beyond right from the beginning and was able to handle all the unexpected challenges that come with planning a multi venue and multi day wedding in New Orleans. She was very organized and would send detailed spreadsheets for every vendor and helped us pick the most amazing ones for the events. She always put our minds at ease during the months leading up to the wedding but also kept us on task. She reminded us of things and took care of many small details behind the scenes that we would have definitely overlooked.
  
  During the wedding weekend, Amy and her wonderful team made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. They not only took care of us but also our families.   Amazing Amy!!

  To any bride out there who wants a picture perfect fairytale Indian wedding, book Amy as fast as you can! Amy and her team elevated my wedding events to a whole new level! She made sure that my events ran smoothly, on time and took the stress out of dealing with vendors on the day of. Amy went above and beyond and even came to my Garba to my surprise and helped coordinate an amazing entrance for us! On the day of my wedding and reception, Amy and her team made sure that my groom and I were fed and kept us hydrated on the dance floor all night long. She completely understood my vision and arranged all of my crafts perfectly for my guests to enjoy. Amy was always very easy to get ahold of and very responsive with emails and communicating with vendors even when I had a busy full-time work schedule. Indian wedding planning can be VERY complicated! A marathon of multiple events, large crowds, various vendors and contracts, picture lists, and keeping to a timely schedule can be overwhelming and something is always bound to go wrong, but Amy is able to handle it all in a breeze! If you are a bride who wants your events to run smoothly and actually enjoy your big day with your family instead of stressing out over every little detail, go to Amy. She is money well spent in every way and will make your wedding a true Storybook Event!

  Absolutely amazing!

Danny and I are both students in the medical field, so we needed someone who could keep us organized and on track. Amy went above and beyond for us and our busy schedules. Of course, planning a wedding is very stressful, but Amy makes sure to take away as much of the stress as possible. I remember after every phone conversation or meeting with Amy, I would tell her “every time I talk to you, I feel like a weight is lifted off my shoulders”. She also has so much experience in the wedding industry and had so many tips/advice that I never would have thought of. Her expertise made a big difference in hiring our vendors, and the flow of our wedding events. The days of our wedding events, Amy also had her assistant Niki with us. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing these women were at our wedding. From making sure everything was moving according to the timeline to making sure Danny and I had water every 10 minutes, every single thing went perfectly and it was all because of them. Not only were Danny and I raving about them, but our families loved them as well. Their number one goal was to make sure me, Danny, and our families were having a great time and they beyond succeeded. Thank you so much to Amy, Niki, and the entire Storybook Event team for giving us our fairytale wedding. We could not have done it without ya’ll!

  Definitely one for the storybooks ;)

  To begin, my husband and I are medical residents and our work does not lend us much time to plan things... let alone a wedding. We had noooo idea the amount of time we would need to plan our wedding. We had a great photographer Biyani who introduced us to Amy and are so thankful he did. Amy was totally cool with a bit of type A personalities and maintained her calm and collected self throughout our special day. She easily herded our large families and many little ones to the right places. The best part, she was attentive to my husband and I's every need on our wedding day. She had drinks and food ready for us as soon as we walked into our reception. She thought of everything and was more than willingly to solve any challenge she was presented with during our wedding day. She was kind and thoughtful. At the end of the day, I wanted to hug her a million times and felt she had not only been our planner but a good friend. Thank you, Amy!! We did the 6- 8 week package - Amy always responded to emails promptly and was 2 steps ahead of my worried mind

  Amazing amy!

  My husband and I lived in California and were planning the wedding in Texas. You NEED to hire Amy for your wedding. I really don't have words to describe how amazing Amy is. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your wedding day is perfect. She will do whatever needs to be done and always does it with a smile. When I started planning my wedding, I wasn't sure if I was going to hire a wedding planner as I considered myself to be pretty organized. I was introduced to Amy through a mutual friend of ours, and thank God! I was so relaxed on my wedding day and didn't really feel stressed at all and I know that has a lot to do with Amy. She isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and get stuff done. She makes sure that the bride and groom are taken care of the whole entire day. I even had another wedding planner (who was apart of the staffing agency that I hired for my wedding) comment on how great Amy is which I believe speaks volumes.   Amy and Nikki are exceptional planners and we are so glad we went with them in retrospect. We picked the medium tier package, and we felt this was perfect for us. For reference, my husband and I are both located out of state and have pretty busy work schedules. Planning our wedding and coordinating our tastings/etc with travel were in and of itself time consuming, but Amy helped us every step of the way. One thing we were distinctly looking for was a planner who was timely in their responses via email/text/phone, and Amy was phenomenal in responding to us promptly and providing whatever resources we needed. This helped us out immensely and made planning that much easier. When we were scoping out other wedding planners, some responded weeks after our inquiry but Amy was extremely prompt which was reassuring throughout the entire process.
  
  Another major plus, Amy herself is charming and does a great job adapting to all the multiple friends,family and venue coordinators involved with your wedding so you don't have to worry about any clashes. She goes through extra lengths to take care of issues that arise on your wedding day, and pays attention to the details that will make your wedding day even more memorable for you. She definitely calmed me down several times throughout the wedding weekend and even made sure to save us wedding cake! My parents enjoyed working with her as well, which was great to hear.
  
  To reiterate, this is probably one of the most important investments of your entire wedding and I'm so glad we chose Amy and her team.

  Our wedding could not have been so wonderful and elegant without Amy’s help. Amy is the best in the business and we knew that we were in the best hands from day one. Planning a wedding while working full time would have been impossible for us without her.

  I cannot stress enough how much of a blessing it was to have Amy before the wedding and the day of. She is super organized, respectful, professional, kind, and got along great with our chosen vendors. She has a way of making you feel really comfortable, which is key on your wedding day. She answered all of my questions (trust me I had a lot) and went above and beyond her duties. She is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry and it definitely shows in her work. She created an amazing timeline that I was able to share with my wedding party and incorporated any changes I had with a smiling face (which was a lot since I can be indecisive at times). She helped to create layouts for the venue and helped me organize items needed for the reception. She understood my vision and executed it perfectly. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly because of Amy and it was BEAUTIFUL! I thought I was going to be stressed during our wedding events but I felt so calm knowing we had Amy to handle everything. Even our guests have given us compliments on how on point Amy was throughout the week. She was patient and warm with all of our guests. She and her assistant had smiles on their faces the entire time! I would recommend Amy and The Storybook Event to anyone that is planning a wedding. She is the best!   My dad was very hesitant to hire a wedding coordinator/planner as he had planned and executed my sister's wedding on his own with the help of my family members. However, I know that he and I are both extremely happy with our decision to hire Amy as our wedding coordinator. She came on to help us a about 3 months prior to the wedding once we had selected most of the vendors. Amy was extremely organized and very good at coordinating information between my vendors, myself, and the onsite location coordinators. Not only that, she always made sure that I was 100% satisfied by my vendor's product/ideas, and was constantly aware of the budget we had in mind. I used to joke with her about whether or not she took any days off because she is always quick to respond to emails whether it be 10 PM or a weekend day. During the actual wedding weekend, her and her assistant were integral to making all of the events run on time. Not only that, they were always looking out for me and my husband, making sure we had food, drinks, or were having lots of fun :) I loved having Amy as my wedding coordinator.   Amy is the definition is of someone who goes above and beyond to do her job well. We planned a Houston wedding from NYC and SF, with only one set of parents in Texas (2 hours away), so having someone like Amy to hold down the fort was essential. But it's not just Amy's responsiveness, attention to detail, professionalism, and thorough knowledge of the event-planning process that we were so impressed with. When wedding time rolled around, Amy was our right-hand person and best friend. What was so amazing is that when events started, all we had to do was show up. We could actually breathe easy knowing when we arrived at our events, everything would be in place as it should be. And that's exactly how things went down. We had a couple of hiccups throughout our event (as expected with a 3-day wedding), but Amy always managed to smooth things out without batting an eyelash. It was the only time during the entire wedding planning process that I could really let go and know Amy had it taken care of. What's more was how incredibly caring Amy is: Every time we turned around, she had made us plates of food ready to eat for when we could grab a bite in between socializing and made sure she had drinks for us even before we walked in. Throughout the events, she was grabbing us drinks and making sure WE were taken care of—something that my husband and I are so thankful for. This is probably what makes her stand out from all the rest. On the first day of our events, we didn't hire Amy to be onsite thinking it would be fine because it was just one party in the evening for about 60 people. But when we realized our venue (a hotel we had all our events at) messed up something very simple that was confirmed more than once by Amy and myself on the very first day, Amy took it upon herself to check herself into the hotel and be onsite to make sure everything was executed seamlessly—something we didn't even ask for! Making sure your event is as perfect as possible is Amy's personal goal.

  As a venue representative, I deal with planners frequently and I can highly recommend Amy! She was calm, pleasant, open to suggestions and always got back to me quickly when I had a question.   Where do I even begin!!? Having Amy and her team working with us throughout the entire wedding planning process was probably the best decision I made! At the start of the planning process, I went through a great deal of confusion about hiring a planner, because of having such a big, helpful family. But, after meeting with Amy and hearing about all of the packages, I knew I would need all the extra help I could get with my big, fat indian wedding! Amy, to US, was not only our planner but also an old friend, which made hiring her an even easier decision.
  
  Right off the back, Amy contacted various vendors, provided detailed spreadsheets for us, and gave her own expert opinion on which vendors she had great experience working with. Amy was always just a text or phone call away when we ran into challenges, and consistently held a positive spirit throughout the process. Her professionalism and speedy responses were definitely something we needed during the last few weeks, leading up to the wedding! Timeliness was really important during each of our events and Amy and her team made sure all events ran according to schedule and made adjustments where needed. Amy knew that my growing budget needed to be watched, but provided us with a myriad of options to save where we could.
  
  She was there for all things, before, during, and after the wedding. We greatly appreciated how special we felt throughout our entire weekend and all the times Amy and her team made sure we ate, stayed hydrated and rested when we could. Having Amy and her team there for us allowed Sunny and I to have the wedding of our dreams!! So beyond thankful for all that she has done for us and continues to do!!! - Urvi and Sunny Patel
