  Our wedding at The Rickhouse was perfect! It was a unique space and all our guests loved it! The food was incredible, the drinks were a huge hit, and all the staff were incredible!! They even worked with us last minute to add our ceremony to the location. It is so beautiful you barely need decorations. I highly recommend the space!

  Loved them!

  We absolutely loved the Rickhouse! Jennifer was super helpful in the planning process and everyone on staff was thoughtful and attentive and super professional on the day. The food was great; the drinks were great; the price was incredibly reasonable. Can't say enough good about the whole experience.

  We recently had our wedding at the Rickhouse at Long Road Distillery and absolutely LOVED it. We received SO many compliments and would definitely have another event there in the future.   We had our wedding reception at the Rickhouse in November 2016. They were absolutely fantastic for our low-key wedding. The food was phenomenal. The service was excellent and the drinks were top notch. They really helped make our day wonderful!

  Highly Recommend!

  We had our wedding at this venue and it was everything we hoped for and more. The atmosphere was beautifully rustic, which created such a warm and charming backdrop for our big day. We used the space for both our ceremony and reception, and it worked out perfectly.
  
  One of the things we appreciated most was how flexible and accommodating the venue was. We were given access to the entire upstairs, including the back office, which was a great private space for me to get ready and stay tucked away before the ceremony. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out.
  
  Parking was easy for our guests, and the venue was simple to find — a huge plus when hosting 65 people. Our guests fit comfortably with plenty of room to eat, dance, and mingle without feeling cramped.
  
  Jennifer, the event coordinator, was incredible. She was always available for questions, and communication throughout the planning process was clear and consistent. We were allowed to visit the venue multiple times to finalize details and even held our rehearsal there, which made everything run smoothly on the day of.
  
  The rest of the staff was just as attentive. My husband and I always had a drink in hand, and it felt like every little detail was taken care of without us needing to ask. The food — provided by the venue — was served buffet style and was a huge hit. I received so many compliments from guests throughout the evening about how good it was.
  
  I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about our experience. This venue made our wedding day feel seamless, personal, and truly special. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a space that is not only beautiful but also backed by a supportive, professional team.

  For our wedding we looked for an alternative to your basic reception venue but still wanted something classic and timeless. Enter Long Road Distillers. The upstairs area gave us a completely independent experience from the downstairs in which we felt like our party were the only people in the building. The vintage ambiance was exactly what we wanted and added incredible color and character to our experience and pictures. The staff and service were amazing and seemed only concerned with making sure we had our perfect wedding reception. Most of all the drinks were fantastic! We had never heard so many compliments at a wedding reception about the drinks as we did at our own at Long Road Distillers. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a memorable reception that is unique from anywhere else in Grand Rapids.

We chose to do a champagne toast for everyone and one drink ticket on our tab and the rest was on them, and that worked out really well. The space is gorgeous and everyone kept raving how beautiful it was and the best part is that you barely have to decorate because the room itself is a statement. All the staff were incredible and helpful. We changed out plans about 100 times and they were so accommodating. A couple weeks before our wedding, we realized our ceremony venue had construction and no parking. They made it super easy to switch it to the venue and help us get it organized.
