The most perfect, affordable, and beautiful venue
My husband and I love the modern barn venue! It is so pretty, different then all the typical venues now a days, and there are so many ways to make it your own! Missy is great and so so helpful as well as all the vendor recommendations she has!

Beautiful Wedding!
We had our wedding in October of 2022. Missy at The Modern Barn went above and beyond on accommodations for us and helped the day go so smooth! She was even so kind to let us use whatever we could out of her stock of decor! It was a beautiful and I couldn't recommend The Modern Barn more for weddings or other special events!

Phenomenal experience!
I have always had a fantastic experience at the Modern Barn Venue. I've attended and/or photographed bridal showers, bridal photos, numerous weddings, styled shoots, nerworking events etc. The owners are top notch. Missy is one of those hosts who truly cares about her clients, her space and other vendors participating in events held there. I have always experienced straight forward great service. I can't say enough great things about the venue.

We could not recommend Missy and the Modern Barn enough!!!! The people at the Modern Barn Venue are the most selfless people and our day would not have been what it was without them!! It’s not only the most beautiful location, but we also felt extremely taken care of by Missy!! The people at the Modern Barn Venue prioritized creating a stress-free environment for me and my family, and because of their help our day was stress-free and BEAUTIFUL!! Amazing!!!!
The Modern Barn Venue was the perfect venue for us. We were going to do a backyard wedding but costs of table chairs etc started adding up! Missy’s venue was a true God send! For the price you cannot beat all that you get, Missy and Jessica both have a heart of gold for what they do. They helped plan, organize and set up the perfect day for us. Cannot recommend them enough!

The venue has many popular wedding signs in addition to other wedding decor that you are welcome to use at no cost. Missy communicated with us promptly and had the ability to put us at ease regarding any concerns. The flexibility of access to the venue beforehand made it extremely easy for everything to come together long before the actual time of the wedding, giving us the opportunity to actually enjoy those precious moments leading up to the event.

Missy (the owner) is the most amazing person ever! She helped us start to finish with the whole wedding and we didn’t give her much time because we were getting married in 3 weeks.
We had a great wedding and it was super intimate and lovely!

Perfect and budget friendly
This venue was exactly what we were looking for for our perfect day. The owners made us feel so welcome and helped through the whole process. I love this venue for the fact that you can make it what you want, big small, fancy or casual. It’s so versatile for what you want your day to be. You can use your own vendors or one of theirs. We did choose the Back 40 bbq which the owner owns and gave us a great deal, and the food was fantastic. We Got so many compliments. We enjoyed every minute of this place and process. I can’t say enough amazing things. Just perfect!

The venue was a great value for the price. We had the wedding and the reception at the venue. Missy made the whole experience easy from the moment we booked. She also owns Back 40 Barbecue and offers a discount on the catering if you decide to use their restaurant. The venue is outdoor and if you are having a small wedding (less than 50 people), there really is no need to find other vendors because she has chairs, tables, decorative items to use for the ceremony and reception. If you do need anything else she has a list of vendors that she works with making the planning even easier. Overall its a great venue for a DIY wedding if you are on a budget.

We LOVED this venue
The venue provided a beautiful backdrop to all of our photos and the owners are SO nice. They meet with you before your big day and make sure everything will be where it needs. There’s plenty of room for a dance floor and tables on the concrete pad and room for food and other activities on the porch!

Best and most beautiful venue around.
The modern barn was simply amazing, I couldn’t say higher things about Missy and her venue. She was there for me for every question leading up the the day, to helping set up the venue, helping tear down and also weeks after when I realized I forgot something at her venue. She truly cares about her bride and groom and makes everything as smooth as possible.

Dream Wedding come true
Missy is literally a dream come true. Her venue was something I didn't know I'd be able to find, much less afford. Every step of the way, Missy and her husband Marc were so helpful, kind, understanding. She gave me some of the best advise when I was clueless, said the sweetest things to calm me down when my anxiety was getting too high. Her ideas for things couldn't have been any more perfect. This venue, was literally a dream come true!!! Beautiful, spacious and welcoming in a way of its own. Highly highly recommend!!. I wish I could havey whole experience all over again!!! Missy and her husband were the absolute best! She kept up and offered as much help as she could through my whole year of planning.
