    Mom of bride

Absolutely wonderful experience. After a horrible experience with another venue and a last minute change, Dave made us feel so at home and so comfortable that it would all be fine. It was obvious his crew knew how to handle what ever came up. He was so respectful and extra helpful with elderly, disabled grandparents. There aren’t enough stars on this page for this wonderful man and his beautiful venue.

A family member had their wedding there recently and it was a beautiful ceremony and a pretty venue with spacious, well kept acreage and absolutely no unpleasant views. However, for the price they charged for the venue as a whole and the extra fees for staying overnight, you would think it would have been cleaner and better well stocked inside the areas where the families actually stayed to prepare for the wedding. (The bathrooms had not been properly cleaned, there was not adequate extra towels, pilllows, blankets, no extra paper towels or garbage bags, etc.) The living room furniture in the smaller house also needs to be upgraded. (The couches downstairs were made of fake leather that was peeling off excessively.) When traveling for a wedding, packing extra paper towels and towels and pillows isn’t something the couple and their families should have to be worried about. The reason someone goes to the expense of renting a venue like this is because they want things like this taken care of. The owners were also strict about where parking was allowed. Otherwise, it was perfect and one of the on-site managers, Robert, couldn’t have been better. He was so helpful and friendly. The owner himself was not too flexible about certain things. Overall I think it’s a beautiful place to have a wedding and I’m glad my great nephew was married there but I suggest you ask for a proper cleaning and that things are well stocked prior to your arrival. They didn’t do it in advance and the closest store is 15-20 minutes away down a winding dangerous road. It couldn’t be prettier to look at though.
