I can’t speak highly enough about The Grove and it’s owner, Kathy.
I can’t speak highly enough about The Grove and it’s owner, Kathy. Picking our venue was our first priority, and we toured nearly 11 or so, really stressing if we would find the perfect place. Once we visited The Grove, we both knew it was the place for us. It’s indoor/outdoor atmosphere fit our November wedding so nicely, lending itself to a fun dance floor and long rows of tables on the inside, and yard games and the bar on the outside. With our ceremony under the big tree overlooking the creek, it was just a dream! While the venue itself is gorgeous, what really prompted us to book was Kathy. From the moment we met her, it’s like Kathy stepped into our vision of a wedding and knew exactly the right people to help. She showed us around the venue giving us endless options, good tips and suggestions, and in general she just really went the extra mile for us. We ended up booking a wedding coordinator she works with often, who we had happened to meet prior, and them working together was so great. It was like we had two people helping us plan and execute! That’s how dedicated Kathy is. She really gets to know her brides and grooms, and is always there to answer a question or offer a suggestion. The venue offers so much: a private groom's space, a private bride's space, indoor reception hall, outdoors yards and patios for cocktail hour, spacious bathrooms, a great kitchen for catering, and 3 ceremony locations (inside, by the creek, patio overlooking the creek). There are many options to book packages with their preferred vendors (which we did not do but I would recommend looking into — by chance we ended up booking a lot of their preferred vendors), various rental times lengths, and tables and chairs as well if you’re not renting elsewhere. We had a tough time finding a place that fit our style, that offered a long enough rental time (without charging an arm and a leg for extra hours!), and enough space to have a lot going on both indoors and outdoors. We’re so happy we chose The Grove. Kathy was made for this business and we cannot thank her enough. All the best, E + M

The Grove on Brushy Creek
The Grove is an beautiful venue and Kathy was great to work with throughout the whole planning process. She was always quick to respond to questions (even when our wedding was months away) and very helpful with how to best plan for and utilize the space. When a cold front came through she was very accommodating and helped us adjust to keep guests warm while still using the patio with gorgeous views of the creek and trees (changing color right in time for our wedding!).Sent on 11/16/2018
The Grove's reply:Thank you for the sweet words. Love that we could navigate the crazy Texas weather and still create the day of your dreams! Cheers to many happy years to come!

This place is incredible! Kathy was so easy to work with and was so accommodating and helpful. She helped us find the most incredible vendors and we had the most beautiful wedding and seriously incredible sunset. I couldn't have asked for a better venue or venue owner. She was quick to respond to questions throughout the planning process and was so organized. We had an amazing and beautiful wedding!Sent on 01/04/2019

Best Day Ever!!
We are SO happy we chose The Grove On Brushy Creek!! We lucked out with perfect weather and were able to have the ceremony on the patio and it accommodated our 130 guests perfectly, and not to mention the perfect back drop for pictures, I can't wait to get those back!! Since we were so lucky with the weather and it being the perfect fall evening, we got to open the garage doors and it made all the difference!! Our guests all raved about how beautiful the venue was and how you could transform it into whatever you'd like! I loved it from the very first time I visited and would recommend it to any other bride-to-be's who are wanting a clean, modernized layout that you can transform into whatever you are wanting! Thank you so much Kathy for everything, it was the best day/night of our lives!! (:Sent on 10/24/2018

Kathy was great! We had a venue cancellation and already had all of our vendors booked and Kathy was so understanding at accepting our pre-arranged plans. She was genuinely excited about our wedding during the process and helped work with us to create our dream a reality! I did a lot of DIY myself and sometimes needed more guidance than a typical bride or coordinator and she was always available to answer my questions. We made some last minute changes on the wedding day and Kathy was there to help every step of the process.Sent on 04/02/2018
The venue itself is lovely. The location is so close to downtown Round Rock and lots of hotels. We had our wedding in March right as the trees started blooming and the view next to the water was just gorgeous. I highly recommend if you have a smaller wedding to have the ceremony down by the water. Just keep in mind that there are large stairs if you have older guests.
The inside is where this venue shines. It’s so crisp, clean and well lit. It also makes decoration easy, since nothing is going to clash. So many venues go too grand or too rustic, this venue is a great blank canvas. Inside is a great space for people to eat, hang out and dance on the while all together rather than separated. The provided bar cart is gorgeous and can be moved anywhere inside or outside, so useful! The bathrooms are clean and modern. The bride’s quarters is super cute, with a good amount of outlets and a huge mirror. The groom’s quarters is outside and a little basic, but does the job just fine for the guys to hang out while they wait. Both are on the smaller side, so I wouldn’t recommend more than 4 or 5 bridesmaids/groomsmen fitting in each one. My guest list of 60 felt perfect and very spacious here!

The Grove; an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Round Rock, Texas! The is an amazing event space with a beautifully manicured lawn, creekside views, tall oak trees and an impeccable open space. My husband and I couldn't ask for a better venue to celebrate our special day. Our friends and family were overwhelmed with how beautiful the space was and couldn't believe that this was all here in the heart of Round Rock.Sent on 11/17/2017
The owner, Kathy, was just about the most amazing person ever! She treated us with top-notch service and was there to greet us and wish us well come the big day. It is apparent Kathy takes very good care of her venue and it shows! From the well maintained space to the one on one service when it comes to questions, logistics, etc.; Kathy is here to make your day a dream come true! I can't thank Kathy and her team enough for making our day one of the best days of our lives!

My event was full of love and my guest loved it! Not to mention the view makes for the perfect backdrop and we took in every moment. We even opened the doors and let the morning breeze flow in during our brunch.. I am so blessed by this place and can't wait to host my next event there..

Kathy and Russ Boles make the whole experience pain free, our event went off without a hitch! Since The Grove is a newer venue you're never quite sure what to expect, but the Boles couldn't have been more professional and accommodating to our needs. The phrases I heard the most throughout the night were, "This place is beautiful!" and "What a nice party." We had an indoor/outdoor event for which The Grove is the perfect venue. The weather was also perfect, which never hurts! From the live music, to the catering, to the setup, we couldn't have asked for a better venue.Sent on 11/23/2016

We had a corporate 10-year anniversary party. Everything went extremely well. The facility, service, weather, music, catering, ambience; everything went very well. A big thanks to Russ and Kathy Boles for their professionalism, courtesy, flexibility and fairness in all matters. I would definitely recommend this place for events with 250 people or less and would use this event center again.Sent on 11/23/2016

We had our wedding at the Grove and we are VERY SORRY we ever did. The owner is the absolutely worst person in the Austin area to deal with. She is extremely unprofessional and ended up yelling at the Brides family at the end of the night and multiple guests throughout the wedding. If you want to be met with smug faces, forced to have your rehersal cut short because she made other plans, have her try and make you leave earlier than your contract and then have your guest (who were taking ubers home) get in trouble for drinking too much at a wedding you should hire the Grove for you next event. If you want the ONLY thing you worry about is the behavior of your venue host towards guests and bride, please book this place. Besides blaming guests, lying about things that went wrong and just being crass in every single way (she didn't even acknowledge us when the grooms showed up for the wedding day) please book this place. You will be disappointed in every single way. Your guests will be told they can use the entire grounds and then she will have security not allow them to go to the bottom deck. The list goes on and on. Just stay far away from this venue and rent from somebody who cares about making this a special day, not saving money or getting paid to make up the money they spent.Sent on 10/31/2016
The Grove's reply:After discussing our contract it became clear we were not the venue for this couple. Before accepting the deposit, we told them as much and asked them to find another venue, but the bride insisted they could honor the contractual terms and I gave in. Each meeting was met with negativity and condescending comments making it clear the groom did not want to work with us. I overlooked multiple infractions that rendered our contract void during the wedding and even returned their cleaning deposit trying to take the high road. Unfortunately there are not forums to rate customers so we are left with his attempt to “bury us before we begin”. We wish them well and appreciate the multitude of lessons we have learned from this experience.
