Fort Worth Blow Dry Bar did our hair and makeup for the bride, 9 bridesmaids, flower girl and Mom's of the Bride and groom. It was so much fun having everyone together.
They were very organized with the timeline and we finished right on time.
We brought in snacks and they had drinks for us.
All our hair and makeup was perfect.
The staff is great and Nicole the owner is very helpful.
I would definitely recommend this place for hair and makeup!!

I had a great experience with the Blow Dry Bar for both my hair, makeup and my stepdaughter's hair. I was undecided about using a MUA and thought I might do my own makeup so I scheduled only an up-do trial. While I was there for my trial the makeup artist was opposite where I was sitting and I could see the bridesmaid's makeup she was doing. It was beautiful! I decided to go ahead and schedule a makeup trial as well as my day of hair and make up appointments.

The makeup trial was also great. Kari is fantastic! She first talked to me about the bridal look I was going for and then we got started. At the end she told me to take lots of pictures that day in all kinds of light and if there was anything I wanted to change on the day of to just let her know. She was very flexible and only wanted me to be thrilled with how I looked.

On my wedding day I forgot the crystal headband I was going to use. The stylist was great, she told me where I could have my sister pin it in later on. Also, several times throughout the style she took me over to the large mirror so I could look and see what she had done and if I wanted any changes.

Next was my makeup with Kari, and again she was fantastic. I'm so glad I decided to hire her as my MUA for my wedding day. I can definitely see going back to her for other special occasions!

I had a great experience here and everyone commented on how great my hair and makeup looked at the wedding.

Not impressed with the customer service. Not accommodating to larger parties. So-so quality of service. They just opened so I hope they will continue to improve.

Things started off weird from my first email with their event coordinator. I emailed with my day and preferred time, and she responded back that they already had a wedding booked at that time, sorry. I reached out again saying that I was flexible and asked if there were any other times that my group of 7 could have their hair done. She came back and, well, yes! There was some time earlier in the day! I wondered why she hadn't suggested that the first time? This was a little over a month, maybe two months out from my wedding. She emailed me the appointment confirmations which I printed and put with my wedding planning stuff.

A couple weeks before the wedding, I emailed to confirm our appointments. She didn't respond, and after a week I emailed again. Still nothing. Two days before the wedding I called Blow to see what was up, and asked if their wedding coordinator had been fired or quit. (I know I should have called earlier, but planning a wedding is hard!) They confirmed my appointments.... but all of the appointment times I was told were not the times that I had confirmations for! I told the receptionist what I needed and she said she would call me back. After 6 hours, I called back and talked to someone else who was able to fix the scheduling for me.

The day of my wedding we went to the salon to have our hair done. I will admit that I was already apprehensive about the appointment. When my stylist came over to greet me I realized she was the wedding coordinator who had not responded to my emails (awkward). She did my hair and it looked awesome. Then had my makeup done and it was great. Unfortunately, she barely used any hairspray and my curls had fallen before we got to the church. My hair was limp and lifeless, and I have never had problems holding a curl before.

Maybe they are great for a night out, but I will always be disappointed in my hair when I look back at my pictures. Also, my MOH's hair took 5 minutes and cost her $65+ .. NOT WORTH IT!!!

Booking the Fort Worth Blow Dry Bar was the worst thing I did for my wedding. At the salon they are very nice and their work is good. I went in on Friday before my wedding and had a blow dry and was very pleased. On the actual day it was terrible! Weddings don't go very smoothly and things will go wrong, It seemed like they had never done weddings before bc their professionalism was terrible. My Bridesmaids and mom who were getting make up and hair showed up an hour late. It was their fault for showing up late and it slowed us down but I wanted to keep calm and make the best of it. I had asked several times that week to send me the schedule for my group but never did, even on my rehearsal night I called. The two women who were doing hair and makeup would make comments out loud about how there wasn't time. The guy who did hair was sweet. They were suggesting they only get eye makeup. I had to remind them several times that they were scheduled to stay till 2p! The hotel had to move us at 1p to a different room bc I had switched for the bigger room for us to get ready in too late (again my fault). The make up lady who was the worst kept telling me it took her long to set up and she wanted to move to the other room around 11a. She then took it upon herself to say that we were all moving to the other room. I had to tell her that we would not be moving till 1p. I couldn't believe how incredibly rude she was and how she thought she could boss us around. I told her that we would not move. I had paid quite a bit for the huge room and we were staying till 1p. They just kept huffing and puffing, rolling their eyes, staring at their watches and wanted to go out to eat at 2p is what I heard several times. At the very end she was applying lipstick to everyone. I had asked for a rose color but not so red. She gave me purple lips and I wanted her out! They asked if I wanted to leave an extra tip on top of the 20% and $200 traveling fee. I said NO!!!!!!!
