  we just had our wedding here and it was the most perfect day! we rented the entire venue for the weekend for our family and bridal party. emily, the DOC was super accomodating and the entire staff of this family owned inn went above and beyond at every opportunity! the grounds are beautiful and rooms luxurious with a comfortable feel! we had a buffet style dinner that was hot and delicious. we really cannot say enough how important it was that we decided to have our wedding here!

  It was amazing

  Dana and the staff were SO GREAT! Everything was perfect and we would do it all over again! All of our guests had a great time and still talk about how great it was!!!

  Our wedding was perfect. We loved the Florida House Inn. The setting was beautiful and Emily at the Florida House Inn made my flowers as well and they were beautiful! It was the perfect location and everyone could walk to town or go to the bar next door. Our day was everything we had hoped for and the people at the Inn made it all possibly!

  Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! The Florida House Inn helped to create a warm & intimate location. All of our guests were so impressed by the venue. The Inn Keepers are extremely easy & flexible to work with. It really felt like we were at a home away from home for the weekend with all of our closest friends & family. Not to mention the wonderful location in beautiful downtown Fernandina Beach, I would do it all over again if I could.

  Overall we have had a great experience in dealing with Ben at the Florida House. He has been very flexible on everything from the time of the event the number of people, the menu, etc... This is not a Wedding factory where it seems they rush you in and out so the next wedding can happen. We pretty much have the place to ourselves the whole day and they have made us feel welcome at every turn. Definitely recommend them

  I was married last week at the Florida House Inn. It was wonderful! The courtyard is beautiful, and the perfect place to have both the ceremony and reception! The town is quaint, with tons of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, so once your guests are in town, there is no need for them to have a car. There is plenty for the guests to do nearby, like shopping, historical tours, horseback riding, kayaking, and golf, so you don't have to worry about entertaining them.
  
  The inn itself was exactly what I was looking for: something historic, small enough to be intimate, but large enough to hold all of my family and friends, and the innkeepers are super friendly! They went out of their way to help make the weekend a success! We had a few mis-communications, but nothing that ruined my weekend. I had a stress-free, beautiful wedding, and everyone complimented me on my venue choice. I definitely recommend the Florida House Inn!

  The food was great and plentiful! However, we felt more wait staff would have been useful, as well as a second bartender for the number of people that attended. Overall, a beautiful venue with an intimate setting!!
