I left Don strange calling my then fiancé to tell him this was the one, this was the venue. Laura and the owner Natalie were so helpful and eager to answer my emails, calls and texts. There are two venue on property and we chose Kendall creek. The tables, linens and some decor were provided along with sanitizer and temp checks on our special day. I got so many compliments Nd would choose then all over again. Indoor or outdoor ceremony or bar locations. A list of vendors was given but I only had to choose one of their bartenders. -

If you care about good food, hire Don Strange. Shawn Lewis and her team went over and beyond what is expected for a caterer. I hired them for a Rehearsal Dinner and they also catered the wedding. The Rehearsal Dinner venue was dirty and Shawn didn’t hesitate to help me clean (even toilets) to get this place in shape before the event. I created my own menu that Don Strange prepared beautifully. Danny (the party leader) was hard working, polite, professional and Very detail oriented. It poured down rain on wedding day. When it cleared up, DS team was out on the lawn drying chairs to help pitch in. We were running about 45 minutes late, and the tenderloin was still perfectly cooked. One of the team members noticed that my Mom didn’t get salad, and she offered to bring her a plate, even though we had a buffet. I can’t say enough good things about Don Strange, Shawn, Danny and the entire team. Thank you for making our celebration Top Notch. -

We had a phenomenal experience using Kendall Creek at Don Strange Ranch for our wedding venue. Laura and Natalie were wonderful to work with, extremely helpful, attentive to detail and accommodating. The venue is a beautiful wood barn with rustic/vintage vibes and romantic strings of lights. Our wedding package included a longhorn feeding experience that our guests enjoyed while we took photos. At night they allow sparkler send offs. Our wedding was truly magical. -

So when we initially booked we had someone name Alyssa helping us out. She was awesome and basically was human. Then she left and someone named Laura took over and we just felt like we were micro managed the whole time. We had a lot of stuff come up. One of them being that my wife was fired from her job the day before our wedding. We explained that this happened and we were already stressing about the wedding. They said we can pay by the end of the month which was awesome. However, they acted like they didn’t trust us knowing that they had more then half of the money. I sent pics of the checks with tracking and still didn’t feel like that was enough. Also, my parents said she was on them like they worked for her. My coordinator ran late and so my parents were doing their best and she made them feel pressured instead of leaving them alone. Also the house was pretty dirty. The shower was gross the rooms looked like they were just picked up and not actually cleaned. We did NOT get our steers as we were promised. The venue is beautiful. Definitely a dream rustic wedding. However the staff needs to let loose a little. I’d pay good money to get Alyssa back. Also, don’t have it in the summer. Extremely hot not AC.
