  The place to go to for a smallwedding

  Kim, the owner of the venue, provided us with a pleasurable experience from the beginning stages to the date of the event. Kim was excellent at responding to my phone calls during the planning stage. During the date of the wedding she was professional and accommodating. She also kept me calm, as I knew she would be there to keep the event on course. The venue was quaint, and even though oddly shaped, Kim set it up to accommodate our group. I would recommend this venue to anyone that is on a tight budget and wants to get the best for a reasonable fee. You are welcome to call me anytime if you have any questions.   Granddaughters Wedding

  This was a wonderful venue. Kim the owner was very attentive and helped out a lot. Definitely will book again in the future.

  A Jolly Wedding

  The Cottage used to be a delightful restaurant, and now it's a spectacular venue. Kim wasn't amazing and was able to help us do everything we needed and more. I'm not planning on getting married again, but if I ever needed a place to have an event in the Grove again, it would likely be here.

  Amazing to work with, flexible and kind!

  Kim, the owner of The Cottage Events Venue was amazing to work with for our wedding! Her rates, service and friendliness were impeccable! She worked with everyone before, during and after the event to have everything run so smoothly! She assisted with music ( thank goodness) as I had no idea what to do and played each song for us to walk up and down the aisle! We fit at least 80 seats into the venue for our wedding and then smoothly moved them to the tables for folks to sit around and eat and socialize! The lighting in the venue is amazing. The kitchen is easy to work in and prep and move food in and out of. Kim has a large selection of platters and serving utensils, as well as plates, silverware and cups for folks to use during their gatherings. I highly recommended The Cottage Events Venue for your wedding and/or reception space!
