We had the Blind Pig cater our wedding and cannot recommend them enough. Sarah was so attentive and easy to work with during the planning process, answering our many questions quickly and offering her suggestions and expertise.
The food was phenomenal. We have so many people still talking about how it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. You could tell that everything was fresh and high quality, since they only use locally sourced, in season ingredients. Everything was delicious, but some standouts that we had were the pig roast, bacon wrapped peaches, deviled eggs, gouda Mac and cheese, the sirloin skewers, and the chicken legs with apple chutney (although I could really list our entire menu as standouts).
Their staff was also so kind and professional throughout the day. There were some changes to our cocktail hour location and schedule due to weather, but they handled everything seamlessly and with care. -

Sarah and Toby exceeded our expectations again and again. Our venue recommended them since we weren't from the Bloomsburg area. We were in search of something extremely specific- we wanted a custom breakfast/brunch menu that included eggs benedict and crepes with an upper-end American flare and farm-to-table ingredients. Food means a LOT to my husband and I, and it was one area we were not willing to compromise on quality for. Of course, as one can imagine, it's extremely difficult trying to find a catering company that not only had the means to make poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and crepes in bulk, but with sides, and to the quality we wanted. When I say that the Blind Pig was everything we were looking for and MORE, I mean it. From creating a menu that fit our vision to setup and execution, Toby and Sarah were nothing short of wonderful. Toby cooks with a passion for quality ingredients that is hard to find elsewhere, and a determination to meet challenges and exceed expectations. They're both incredible down to earth, and we even got the chance to go to their farm for a brunch back in early spring. And I mean seriously, for anyone that knows what it takes to make eggs benedict, it's not easy to do it well (and a lot of chefs even mess it up). But it was PERFECT -- I should also note that we STILL have people bringing up how wonderful the food was at our wedding. It was a memorable experience for not just us as bride and groom, but guests as well. Thank you for collaborating with us and helping make our dream menu come alive! I wish I had photos, but I was more concerned with eating the food and totally forgot! Here's a picture of the eggs benny from our wedding food-tasting day! -

We cannot say enough amazing things about Sarah, Toby, and The Blind Pig Kitchen! From the moment we started planning our wedding menu, they were thoughtful, accommodating, and a true pleasure to work with. Their food is nothing short of exceptional, with each dish crafted to perfection, combining fresh, local ingredients with incredible flavors. You won't find a better farm-to-table option in NEPA.
Our guests were raving about the passed appetizers—especially the bacon wrapped peaches with cheddar drizzled with a balsamic glaze and the Pickled Deviled Eggs with smoked salmon. The unique flavor pairings truly set the tone for the rest of the evening. The plated salad, with its fresh mixed greens, beets, and green goddess dressing, was refreshing and balanced. And let’s not forget the rich Mushroom Soup—it was a hit for everyone! Paired with freshly baked bread.
For the mains we chose chicken, served with a raspberry gastrique, which was tender and flavorful; and salmon paired with a delightful caraway beer mustard. The mashed potatoes with rosemary and garlic were creamy and comforting, and the seasonal summer squash added a beautiful touch of freshness.
Sarah and Toby brought such a personal touch to our wedding, ensuring everything flowed smoothly. They truly care about their clients and take pride in offering a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression. We would recommend The Blind Pig Kitchen without hesitation to anyone looking for a top-tier caterer for their special day (or a fine dining experience in Bloomsburg, PA)!
