The Big Tree Inn Reviews

We could not have picked a better place to have our wedding reception. Not only is the Big Tree Inn beautiful, but the staff was wonderful to work with, the food was excellent, and their attention to detail was great to the very end. We stayed upstairs, and our room was amazing, comfortable, clean, and gorgeously decorated. We felt "at home" at the Big Tree. Our out-of-town guests that stayed upstairs in the rooms were pleasantly surprised at the wonderfully appointed rooms, the continental breakfast in the morning, and the nice location of the Inn.

The management of the Big Tree Inn was very accommodating to all our needs, and answered all our questions thoroughly. They even were sensitive to our guests' needs to vegetarian meals and kids meals.

The staff for our event were wonderful and very helpful. We had a great time at the venue and the event planners made sure we had everything planned the way we wanted. We got more than we expected. Great wine and food choices too. I found that when I let the staff use their judgment, they made great decisions, a little controlling, but only for things that I was indifferent about anyway.

My husband and I are completely satisfied with our reception at The Big Tree Inn. The general manager, Daniel Mullin, was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. The staff were friendly, polite and very hardworking for both the day of the reception and breakfast the following morning. We had many guests rave about the food, especially the filet mignon (it was delicious!) In out eyes the evening was flawless and we very happily recommend The Big Tree to others looking for an event venue.

That being said, a couple of my guest did have some confusion with reservations/billing with the inn but this was quickly resolved after being addressed.
