Teeny Cake provided mini-cupcakes and a small cake for our wedding reception dessert table. The staff were super responsive and sweet during the planning/ordering phase and they DELIVER all at an affordable rate! The treats were well packaged, arrived on time and devoured by our guests! My wife and I chose Teeny Cake to cater the desserts at our wedding this past July and they did a fantastic job. Michelle (baker and owner of Teeny Cake) was an absolute delight to work with. She was incredibly insightful, positive, and kind throughout the entire process. We had ~130 guests and therefore we ordered 80 regular size cupcakes and 72 mini cupcakes. We ordered a variety of flavors including chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, and salted caramel (everyone’s favorite). The cupcakes were an absolute hit and we had a perfect amount of extras to enjoy some the following day. We also had them make a small cake to cut during the reception, which was very tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, Teeny Cake was outstanding to work with, the delivered everything seamlessly, the cupcakes were very tasty, and all for a very reasonable price. Michelle of Teeny Cake is the sweetest southern girl you will ever meet! After shopping around for wedding cakes, and suffering massive sticker shock, we decided to look in to cupcakes. For under $500 we got a cutting cake and enough cupcakes and teeny cakes (bite-sized cupcakes) to feed our wedding of 80 (with lots of leftovers that people fought over taking home at the end of the night). After our first tasting with Michelle we knew she was the way to go. Michelle is super professional and very nice, and man does she know how to bake! I am getting hungry for cake again just writing this. Our cutting cake was adorable and perfect, and the cupcakes were very cute and delicious. We used Teeny Cakes for our wedding and although there was some difficulty connecting initially, Michelle assured me, everything would be on point and it was! To start I have to credit her for recommending a new venue when my initial venue failed short after all my vendors in the area were secured. Come day of the wedding… the teeny cakes were a big hit and they looked as amazing as they tasted. Michelle did a fantastic job setting up and decorating our cake/cupcake table. Teeny Cake was so great! We hired Michelle off of a referral from our venue, and it was such a great choice--she is so sweet, how fitting for a baker! She made us 6 inch cake topper (we did not want an entire cake--and let me tell you--this small cake was literally the best thing we have ever eaten! We live out of the area and want her to mail us a cake, it was so good!) and a dessert bar filled with baked goods and candies. Cutest thing ever! Looked so nice and organized, matched our color scheme.
4 words: Tiramisu in a jar. WOW. Amazing. All of our guests were commenting on all of the baked goods, in particular, the salted chocolate chip cookies. Outstanding dessert bar, very competitive prices too.
Our wedding was happening during the time teeny cake was opening its store front, and sometimes it was hard for me and Michelle to connect--but she was totally on top of things, I had nothing to worry about. She will take care of you!
We even had a lot of guests with dietary restrictions (myself included), and she was able to make our cake topper gluten-free (and it was STILL so amazing) and the cake pops were able to be gluten-free as well, which our guests really loved.
I cannot wait to go back to the area once the storefront is open and get some more cake! :)Teeny Cake was so great! Teeny Cake provided desserts for my June Sonoma wedding, and everything was fabulous. I would recommend Michelle and Teeny Cakes to others looking for tasty desserts at very economical prices. We appreciated the flexibility of having multiple different desserts, and our guests have been raving about all of it. We had multiple flavors of mini cupcakes, brownies, and cake pops, and everything was delicious. We also had a small cake for cutting, and Michelle did a beautiful job creating a display that featured my parents' wedding topper on the small cake, surrounded by an abundance of other desserts.
Michelle was very friendly, warm, and professional in our meetings with her. She had us in the shop for two tastings to make sure we had an opportunity to try everything and carefully select our flavors for the event. She put a lot of effort into making sure the display would match our decor, and she even coordinated with our wedding venue coordinator regarding the best table to use and layout.
Michelle was a bit slow to respond to email, but I expect that will improve as she gets more experience running the catering business, the farmers market stands, and the store all at the same time. Whenever I called her, she got right back to me.
We met with several cupcake providers, and Teeny Cake was by far the lowest cost, while at the same time being the tastiest. The only downside of having such fabulous desserts at the wedding is that we ran out! My advice to other couples would be to use Teeny Cake and to order MORE cupcakes than Michelle recommends. Yay Teeny Cake!
Michelle of Teeny Cake was SO helpful and made some delicious treats for our wedding! We ended up creating a whole "Dessert Table" with mini cupcakes, brownie bites, cookie bites, and a 6" cutting cake for photos. Michelle spent well over 2 hours in person and countless email exchanges to make sure our day went exactly how we wanted. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, Michelle wasn't able to assist on the day of the wedding, but her team took over and did an amazing job.
