Paula and Damian from Sungold Photography were absolutely amazing. They were prompt, very professional, extremely easy to work with and flexible and most important of all they delivered. The photos are absolutely gorgeous. Worth every penny would for sure recommend them to anyone.Sent on 02/26/2014

We were unhappy with the edited images
When booking, we assumed Damian would be taking the images, and I was quite surprised when Priscilla showed up instead but assumed everything would be fine. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the photos just 4 and a half weeks after the wedding, although we were not given any preview images up until this point. Receiving the images back I felt like they were sub-par, taken by someone without formal training.Sent on 12/10/2019
She didn't know how to properly frame several images, with a picture specifically taken with the paramount theater sign in Austin cropping out the top of the paramount sign. Some of the favorite photos of others were photos where we asked for a certain angle on the background church, not the angle she was shooting. A tree blocked the edge of the church building that could have been removed by shifting her position over a foot. Not huge issues as it doesn't effect all of the photos, but none the less, disappointing and distracting.
Most of the photos are overexposed with the worst being those of everyone walking down the aisle. The indoor images at our reception are not white balanced consistently. Half seemed properly white balanced, and the other half were far too warm. Lastly, the aperture was often too low on several of the portraits, resulting in a far too shallow depth of field on the faces. Although we liked many of the images displayed by Sun Gold Photography, we felt like these were edited inconsistently with the work shown on the website.
She didn't always look out for issues with bow ties, dresses being uneven and the like. And several of the portraits have stray hairs going across the face and distracting. We had assumed that edited photos would have those minor distractions retouched, but were wrong.
