Kelsey was an utter dream to work with for so many reasons.
First: She has impeccable style. She helped us blend and beautifully execute our many décor ideas. Second: She knows the industry inside and out was hugely helpful in providing recommendations, resources and valuable insight. Third: She is flexible, dependable and just extremely talented. As a busy working couple, it was so comforting knowing that Kelsey would quickly respond to our questions and concerns throughout the process. And lastly: She is so calm and graceful. No matter how hectic things got (especially with the many details we asked her to keep track of!) Kelsey was extremely calm. This is particularly refreshing for those nervous moments before everything gets started!
We can’t thank Kelsey and the Sugarcomb team enough. Because of Sugarcomb, the ceremony site was bright and adorable and the reception literally took my breath away. She went over and beyond and put together a beautiful reception that went smoothly and was incredibly fun.

Kelsey is professional, incredibly talented and full of ideas. She was my wedding décor goddess!
When I contacted Kelsey a few months before my wedding I had sunk to the depths of dispair with décor. I knew what I wanted to create but was, frankly, tired of trying to design the event myself. I wanted vintage glamour, whimsy and romance, while somehow maintaining an intimate environment that made our guests feel like a part of one big family. The ambience inside our wedding was perfect, everything I could have ever wished for!
From the gorgeous chandelier hanging over a vintage cupboard filled with Glassybaby votives and incredible bouquets, to the perfect pale pink table linens and gold charges to the amazing wine barrel she took from our winery to create a platform for escort cards - Kelsey did it all. She even helped come up with a beautiful beachside rehearsal dinner.
There were a few hiccups the day of, a minor floral crisis and my family showing up later than expected – but those kinds of things happen. Kelsey handled every challenge with a calm smile and the most professional and cool demeanor. I loved my wedding day, as did my husband and our guests.

There is simply no way possible I could have gotten through my day and/or my wedding planning without Kelsey and the Sugarcomb team. My husband and I did our planning on our own. We didn’t have any outside assistance from family and/or friends. Any and every time (throughout the planning) I got stressed or unsure of something I phoned and/or emailed Kelsey and she walked me through my stresses unwinding me down worry by worry until I was stress/worry free. Kelsey’s calmness, charm, heart, and dedication are exactly what brides need. She listens to every detail, adds some of her own and delivers an A+ service.
We could not be more proud and happy to have worked with Kelsey and Sugarcomb. Thx so very much, Kels, xx

Kelsey Eads at Sugarcomb Event Design was the best money that my husband I spent on our wedding. I did most of the planning of our wedding myself, but Kelsey made herself available for any questions or concerns that I had during the planning process. The few weeks leading up to the wedding, I forwarded all of Kelsey's contact information on to the other vendors, and thieir contact information to her. She worked with each of them to ensure that the delivery and arrival of all items were coordinated and on time. Kelsey and her assistant were on site at the reception to meet with all of the vendors and set up all of the items that my husband and I had given to her earlier in the week for decorating purposes. In addition to the reception work that we hired Kelsey for, she also made herself available for walk throughs of the event locations and at the last minute, agreed to assist us with meeting the rehearsal dinner vendor as well as being the drop off and pick up location for all of our linens.
As far as we know, the wedding went off without a hitch, and Kesley was a large part of this success. She is extremely professional while also being personable. Her willingness to go above and beyond made me trust her with the execution of the reception on our special day. Kelsey was a joy to work with and I do not hesitate to recommend her to any bride looking for additional help. I have recommended her to my closest friends and look forward to seeing her at other weddings in the future.

Kelsey from Sugarcomb did a wonderful job helping to coordinate our wedding. My husband and I knew that we wanted to plan our own wedding but we also knew we would need help with some of the details and and someone to coordinate for us on the day of the wedding. Kelsey did a great job of helping us with all of the details that only a wedding planner would know and she was a wonderful day-of coordinator. She met with us before the wedding to help us finalize our plans, work out a timeline and answer all of our wedding planning questions. Kelsey came and met with our vendors before the wedding so that she would be able to seamlessly coordinate for us on the wedding day. She helped us figure out all of the last minute details at our rehearsal and took everything oof of our hands that night so that we could enjoy our wedding day. On the day of the wedding Kelsey oversaw the setup of our reception, the ceremony music and processional, and then coordinated all of the important events at our reception. Kelsey even saved the bride's hair minutes before the wedding ceremony by having a can of hairspray on hand when no one else did! Two days before our wedding our DJ ended up in the hospital and Kelsey coordinated with the DJ company to secure us a new DJ and make everything easy and seamless for us. We are so appreciative of all of her help! We would definitely recommend using Sugarcomb Design for your wedding!

From the first steps on our new adventure Kelsey kept us on track with a realistic time line, a positive point of view and an amazing ability to grasp the important details with ease. She made the planning process stress free and made our wedding a beautifully designed success. Thank you Sugarcomb, we couldn't have done it without you!

Sugarcomb Event Design, Kelsey Eads, was the sole factor keeping my wedding event together. Without sounding cliche but realizing there is not much left to explain the extent to which Sugarcomb can assist brides, Kelsey is in fact a brides dream. She realizes what is important and what is not, and listens to you as her bride to make sure she understands the same in you. Her passion for creating a magnificent event where the bride is truly honored and celebrated is the platform from which she approaches EVERY major decision (I got chills thinking about how she created this with me). For my wedding I was on a tight budget (self inflicted) with a large guest list (we ended up at about 350 guests), Kelsey honored every bit of my desires to crunch money, but directed my vision to something that was enchanting and romantic! She helped come to a realistic outline of what would make this day more than I could envision and yet created it to be everything within what we had spent hours trying to create. Kelsey never hesitated to move a meeting as she knew I was under high stress, and she put countless hours in with me over small decisions that no one else seemed to have time for or could understand the extent of decision. Since I planned my wedding long distance while finishing my MBA, some of these hours were on the phone and Kelsey never hesitated to pick up! Kelsey's deep conviction for the meaning and the importance of your wedding allows her to move forward in the direction that YOU want while balancing with grace the "moments" that brides go through and helping you maintain a peace that this day CAN BE as romantic as you wish. Kelsey made trips to craft stores and many last minute browsing to help create my wedding reception - she worked hard to protect what was important to me and my husband. Everything from early meetings to helping make-sure clean-up happened the morning after. Day of Kelsey was AWESOME. She surprised the bride (me) with lighting in the colors of my wedding (TOTALLY UNEXPECTED) and had the entire reception time-line planned. My reception blew me away. Oh and I can't forget to let all the brides know that a week before the wedding when the dress color was WAY too blue and my husband supported me in purchasing the new dresses for our 8 bridesmaids, Kelsey WAS MY ULTIMATE reinforcement - my pictures would never be the same if she had not backed me on that decision! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kelsey to the smallest or largest of weddings, in any format (budget, guest list or destination). In fact I want to do it all over again, with Kelsey by my side. Thanks Sugarcomb, I have NO wedding disappointments. :)
