  Chef Alfredo and his team at Striper's Bar and Grill did an amazing job catering our 90 person wedding. Appetizers included bacon wrapped scallops, fresh bruschetta, crab dip and a veggie display. For dinner we had chicken marsala, chimichurra beef, and grilled Striped Bass, with sides of roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, and pasta.
  
  The staff was great and chipped in extra to help set up and breakdown our venue. The bartenders were also wonderful to work with. The bar operated efficiently and drinks were delicious! Over all 5 stars. Chef Alfredo was awesome to work with from start to finish.

  Before we started to plan our wedding we went to the OBX Wedding Expo. We had one goal that day and that was to find a caterer. It was overwhelming the amount of food we tasted from every vendor. We stopped by the Stripers booth and we were interested. We left the expo and went to their restaurant to order something off their menu. We knew they were only going to bring their "A" game to the expo. We had dinner at Stripers and my husband and I said, these our our guys. Their food was amazing. We met the owner, Alfredo and we were sold. When we returned home we e-mailed and had phone conversations on the phone with Alfredo about our menu options/pricing/service... You name it we talked about it. The day of the wedding came around and we couldn't be happier the service and food that Alfredos team delivered. The passed appetizers and the lobster bisque soup were to die for. Alfredo and his crew were helpful and extremely professional throughout the night. I would recommend Stripers to anyone who is looking for a caterer who will work with you and put his love and passion of cooking into your food. Thank you Stripers for making our wedding amazing. We look forward to coming back down there to eat at Stripers in the summer.

  Stripers Bar and Grille not only catered my wedding but they also hosted my rehearsal dinner. We loved the manager of the restaurant and had a great tasting with him and his staff. He ensured us that we would be the only wedding he would be catering the weekend of our wedding and we agreed to have him as our caterer. The weekend of our wedding they ended up having 4 other events. During our rehearsal dinner, they had another huge party at the restaurant along with any other guests dining. The staff looked as though they were running around and were not responsive to the guests. The food was great, however, so we didn't mind that much.
  The next day for the wedding, the caters arrived bright and early at the wedding venue to set up. They set up the tables nicely, however the put the forks to the right and the knives to the left of the dinner plate, which for a catering company, they should have known that was wrong. For our champagne toast, they did not have any of the champagne poured and were rushing to pour it for the guests as the speeches were being said. I had gone over the schedule of the wedding with the manager many times and this should not have happened. Everyone loved the food and what few bites my husband and I had (they forgot to wrap up our dinners) we loved as well. When it came time to cut the cake, the caterers weren't cutting the cake (even though the cake cutting fee was built into the price), and my photographer was actually cutting pieces for me guests.
  The cater also provided bartenders who weren't nice to the guest at all. At one point, one of the caterers said a rude comment to my husband, the groom of the event.
  Overall, we were VERY unhappy with the service and attitude of the caters and we would not recommend them to any bride.
