    Beautiful city, couldn't have pick a better location for our wedding! The hotel is absolutely stunning and the service and food was great! We had a great expierence!

    There were some plates of pork that were served raw to guests. I thought that for how much money that we paid the room was a little outdated and was surprised that we had to pay for our hotel room after so many guests had already reserved rooms. I also heard that the bartenders were rude to guests. Overall it was a lot of money for everything.

    Victoria made the whole experience easier; she returned calls immediately and was helpful with making my vision for the Summit Room come true for my wedding.

    The hotel is a beautiful location for a wedding. They made some impressive updates after we had booked which we were fortunate to benefit from! Our guests loved the views and raved about the food. I would have nothing but positive things to say if it weren't for the poor handling of our forgotten late night sandwiches. The issue was never brought to my attention and no equivalent food options were produced. The sandwiches were later credited, but we really needed the hotel to take more accountability for the oversight and show our value to them as customers.
    We chose the St James to spend one of the biggest days of our life. That was not a decision we made lightly. So many great people worked hard to make that day special for us. How we feel in the aftermath of this poor customer service is now the predominant memory we have of our day.

    Thankfully our family and friends did a wonderful job in hiding any issues from my husband and I on our wedding day and we had an amazing time but we had several issues during our reception.
    The staff other than Victoria were wonderful and easy to work with. Victoria made promises that were never followed through on, like saying we would had access to the Summit room the day prior to decorate and set up, instead we were told two weeks prior we wouldn't have access and would only be granted access at roughly midnight before so we had to hire a decorator to do what we had planned to.
    We were rushed through our cocktail hour, and did not get to see or enjoy it other than a brief 10 minutes. We had appetizers set aside for us, the wedding party, and our parents NONE of which we served to us until mid way through dinner.
    Being Victoria rushed us up to the dinner, it wasn't ready there was a total of well over an hour from the time the soup was severed and everyone was done eating it until dinner was served there was no microphone available for a prayer before dinner (after we were told there would be). Dinner was basically a disaster for us, but the food was everything we remembered from our tasting and it seemed to help with the timing issue for our guests.
    Bar tenders were great once a small issue with drink tickets was resolved. The hotel staff was AMAZING and very accommodating.
    Aside from the issues we had with Victoria it was a magical night we will never forget.
