    My husband and I got married at Springfield Banquet Center in September 2015. Everything was absolutely perfect. Shelly and her team really went above and beyond our expectations. This venue is not only gorgeous, but also a great bang for your buck with it being mostly all inclusive. We had approximately 150 guests and we ended up staying below budget with this spectacular venue!!!

    Springfield was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! We rented the Rose Ballroom and had our cocktail hour in the front lobby. Michael and Shelly were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. We came in several times for walk-throughs and they always made themselves available to answer our questions and provide suggestions for the ideas we had. They were very responsive to getting back to us within a few days for any requests we had.

    For being on a budget this place is especially awesome with all the flexible packages they offer. We brought in our own caterer, rentals, lighting, and band—transforming the look of the room. Our catering staff worked side by side with the Spring Field staff and all went off without a hitch. The only issue was had was there were long drink lines because our guests were ordering mostly specialty drinks—so just a heads up to ensure you’re properly staffed if you had a large group like we did.

    This place is great at accommodating large groups and with the stage it was perfect for our live band. The dance floor was packed the entire night. What’s also nice is that they give you the flexibility to extend your reception to late in the evening—ours went till after 11pm so we didn’t have to stop the dancing early. We even had late night food served which was a hit!

    Overall, we loved Spring Field as a venue as it allowed for us to invite a large guest list and have a dancing party till late in the night while not breaking the bank!!

    Wedding was on March 7, 2014.

    The hardest part, in my opinion, is finding the spot that you will say “I do.” My wife and I had the hardest time finding a spot that we both were in love with and that was affordable too. One of the biggest issues for me was making sure my wife would have all the time in the world to be there and make sure things were setup the way she wanted and everything looked amazing. I stumbled on the Spring Field Banquet Center on a blog. The first thing that caught my eye was that it was in Fullerton, so driving wise, it was close for all of our family. Once we started doing research we slowly began to fall in love with this center. We decided to go check it out. We arrived and instantly we loved it. Nice big center with enough room to accommodate our guests. The prices were VERY much in line with what we could afford and decided to walk away for a month. Crazy as it seems, but we wanted to see if we walked away and came back, would we love it as much. WE DID! We booked it and knew we had found the place. We had booked a ceremony/reception package that included all the food, appetizers, deserts, tables, linens AND our wedding cake. We even paid a little extra to be able to bring in our OWN alcohol. No hassles with a cash bar and we could provide our guests with our signature drinks and good times. Everything was in order and now it was just the waiting game. The only small hiccup we had was when it came to scheduling our food tasting. The venue somehow forgot to schedule their venues for the day, so for us it was a day wasted. They made up for it though by allowing us to bring 6 additional people to the tasting which we had a blast with. We worked with Shelley and then as the wedding approached, Michael was our guy. We couldn’t have had anyone better than Michael. He understood everything that needed to be done. It couldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without him. Overall, we loved the venue. This is a venue I would recommend to anyone!

    Shelly and her staff were wonderful! We rented both the Carnation Hall for our ceremony and the Rose Ballroom for the reception. I also have gone to the Spring Tea Room for afternoon tea a few times as well and love it. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We booked the indian food package (subcontracted to Ashoka in Artesia) and everyone LOVED the food. The cake was amazing too (carrot cake by Amazing Cake Creations in Orange). The lighting was done in-house and looked awesome for an evening wedding. I don't have anything negative to say about our wedding at this venue!

    Simply put, this place is AWESOME if you're looking for an affordable venue for your wedding. I used their Carnation Hall for my wedding on June 22, 2012 for about 100 guests and it was perfect.

    My now husband and I have shopped around various venues around Southern California. Every time we went to see a venue, we were discouraged at the quotes these venues were giving us. For guest count of 100, these venues were quoting us in the $20,000s. Sure it was inclusive, but still. Waaaaay over what we wanted to pay for. We just felt that spending too much money in a day of partying wasn't worth it. We'd rather spend that money on a down payment of a house. So many times we just wanted to elope and do a court wedding to keep the cost minimal.

    Then I heard from couple of my friends mentioning how wedding at Spring Field Banquet Center is affordable. We had nothing to lose so we went to check the place out. Initially our headcount was 50 guests, so we were shown the Azalea room. Small but cute and intimate. Then we started listing out the guests we wanted to invite, and the headcount increased to 100. Then we were shown the Carnation Hall and it was perfect.

    We decided to have the wedding on a Friday night since the cost would be cheaper. We just wanted to cut the cost anywhere we can. Then we also decided to have the ceremony and reception in the same room, with the same table setting. This also removed extra cost of having to rent another room. This actually worked well for us since we wanted to go right into dinner after the ceremony. (Which means no need for h'orderves) Though on the actual day, we had a 30minute intermission to freshen up. We brought our own alcohol so we just had to pay for the bartender and a security guard. We went with the chicken (chicken princess is amazing) & roast beef option for the dinner.

    In total, we ended up spending less than $6000 for final headcount of 110 guests. This includes venue, linens, clean up, food, bartender, security guard, and the service fees.

    My aunt and her friends who worked on the decoration and flowers were also raving about how accommodating the staff at Spring Field were.

    In summary...
    - Pricing is very affordable (Cheaper pricing on Fridays and even cheaper pricing if you have ceremony and reception in the same room)
    - Staff are very accommodating
    - Food was delicious (Chicken Princess is so good!)
    - All inclusive
    - Big parking lot

    If you are a bride that is having second thoughts about having a wedding due to cost, look no further. Spring Field Banquet Center is the best you can get for its price.

    Also to note, if you are using any candle, you will need to get a fire permit prior to the wedding date.

    My wedding was such a success yesterday (4-22-12). I had tons of hiccups including issues with my makeup people being 2 hours late, which put us behind schedule. But I knew i had absolutely nothing to worry about because I was in the best hands with Mayra.

    I booked the Rose ballroom for my reception, balcony & patio for my cocktail and Carnation for my ceremony. I can't believe how accommodating Mayra, Shelly, Michael and the entire staff were with me through the last 10 months.

    I am such an anal bride, I have a 2 inch binder completely filled with excel sheets, timelines, costs and what not. Mayra worked with me on everything, and I mean every single little detail and exactly as I wanted it. (Thank you Mayra for going the extra mile to make my wedding such a success yesterday).

    The staff made sure everything was in place the day before at my rehearsal as well as the day of my wedding. Mayra worked out everything including working with my schedule and making sure everything went smoothly.

    Michael spent an extra amount of time with me on Saturday during my rehearsal to pick the right lighting for my wall wash. He also assisted my videographer and photographer to setup the correct audio equipment accessories that they needed. Thank you for getting all the audio setup, my dj had everything he needed yesterday during the ceremony!

    The staff was so courteous, including all the bartenders we hired.

    The catering company they use here is so phenom! I can't believe how good the food was, although as the bride i didn't get to eat much, everyone was telling me after.

    This place is perfect little hidden gem, so many of my friends were saying they drive by all the time and were in awe as to how gorgeous this place was.

    The vintage feel to the warm and wonderful staff really put me at ease the day of my wedding.

    As I finished cleaning up for the evening, Mayra stayed till the very end making sure I had everything I needed before leaving. The staff was quite helpful as well :) I would recommend this place to any potential bride because once you take a look at the Rose ballroom, you'll fall in love with this place!

    We just had our wedding there and the overall experience was great. Michael worked with us and help during the whole event. They were ready to help, flexible...overall a wonderful experience.
    They coordinate with the rest of the vendors...it was great and I didn't have to worry at all.

    Springfield Banquet Center was the perfect venue for us! Their staff was very helpful and professional throughout the whole process of planning and booking our event. Big thanks to Michael and Shelly with the rest of their crew that made our day special and stress-free! Our wedding reception in their Rose Ballroom was beautiful and accommodated our guests very comfortably. We are so glad we chose Springfield Banquet Center!

    I would highly recommend the Spring Field Banquet Center for anyone's wedding ceremony and reception. The staff there was extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a number of things that went wrong at our wedding, such as the videographer and florist being late, but the staff went as far preparing some flowers for us in case the florist never made it to the venue. The food was yummy, the up lighting fantastic but I think what really made things wonderful there were the people who worked there. They enjoy what they do and it shows in their manner. I was able to correspond with them via email or phone and all my questions were answered and concerns alleviated. Thank you Spring Field for doing such a fantastic job! :)

    There really is nothing bad to say about springfield and the staff. They were absolutely wonderful from the day we put our deposit down to the wedding night. Sine we had a long engagement I went down to the venue multiple times to make sure everything was right or to figure out my set up and they were always welcoming and very open to my questions and concerns. They also created a brand new menu of food for us, that they had never done before and DIDN'T up our price at all! The price and quality of food is right on! The staff is wonderful 5 stars!

    We couldn't have selected a better venue for our ceremony and reception than the Springfield Center. The center itself has a classic elegance you can't find just anywhere. The staff was very helpful, especially Michael who was the coordinator for our event. We selected the Rose Room which enabled us to have our ceremony on the balcony, and our reception dinner in the main room below. The rooms were both done beautifully, and the attention given to detail by them was wonderful. We received only compliments on the food which they catered. They made it all so easy and at a reasonable price. We couldn't be happier.

    The entire experience at Springfield was great. Everyone was so extremely helpful and they were very flexible for my budget. All my questions were answered quickly. Even the day of the reception, they made me very comfortable and made sure everything went according to plan. I would completely recommend The Springfield Banquet Center.

    Springfield was the most amazing place for our reception! We were in the main Rose Ballroom, which has a large mezzanine for the cocktail hour and a nice outdoor balcony for guests who want to smoke or just get some fresh air. The entire place has character inside and out, and is extremely elegant. All the linens and china were included, and when it was all set up, the place was absolutely beautiful!!
    I wanted a place that would be affordable for our budget, but could still provide us with a "ritzy grand ballroom" feeling. Not only was the pricing great (no site fee, just per person dinner pricing), but they were totally flexible with guest count minimums and the alcohol. We chose a three day holiday weekend so that we could have the cheaper Sunday pricing, as well as have the ability to bring in our own alcohol (which saved us SO much money!). Springfield made it so easy to plan our big day and stay within our price range.
    Not only did the place look amazing the day of, but the staff was unbelievably helpful and on top of things! We received so many compliments from our guests about the food and staff. And by the way, the food IS amazing!! People wanted to take more food home with them! I worked primarily with Sam who was incredibly helpful and sweet! Towards the end of my planning, I sent him MANY emails with questions and he always seemed eager to help, as well as always responding quickly. One of my favorite memories was walking into the Springfield with my husband after taking our wedding photos. The reception was already in full swing upstairs and we were frantically coming in to make our grand entrance on time. We walked in and were automatically greeted by Sam, who was standing at the entrance with a huge welcoming smile. He assured us that everything was going great, and I swear, it made any worries about the reception melt away. I knew that Sam and the staff were going to help make it a great night! Thank you so much Spring Field! We recommend you to everyone!!

    My husband and I were soon to be college grads who didn't want to start our new lives in debt so we were having a wedding on a budget! This reception area is beautiful and looks way more expensive than what we paid for!

    First off it is in a perfect location in downtown fullerton. It's a vintage building that has been remodeled and everything inside is beautiful. They have a little tea area, the entrance way is always kept clean and filled with beautiful flower arrangements.

    To save money my husband and I got married in the morning and had a brunch/lunch reception. We rented out the biggest hall, the Rose room. The ballroom has high ceilings, a balcony, an out door terrace. The room was abosutely stunning! We had about 160 attend and paid 20 a head and this included all the rentals, the hall, set up, clean up, service charge and we were allowed to bring our own apple cider for the toast which they poured. Everyone enjoyed our menu which was croissants, salad, fruit, the best scones with jam, and a truffles for dessert. It also came with 2 different tea's. We chose to do it buffet style and they decorated the tables and it was perfect.

    The service is excellent! The owner is really easy to work with and help from beginning to end. We had a great tasting (included in the price!) and they let me decide how the tables would be set up and where everything would go. Very professional and respoded quickly. I am so happy I decided on this place for my reception. We got a beautiful location for the best price in town!

    This place is so amazing. We had a wedding party over here and we love it. All my guest was in good hand. Their staff was helpfull and very detail. Especially Sam (manager) he very organize and kindness & easy to work with. The food was so great. The place was very clean. We love to recommend this place to everyone.

    Spring Field was amazing! Sam was an amazing coordinator to work with. From the beginning he helped us with every detail to make our non-traditional wedding reception work. Everything from the cost to the food was A++. The only thing I was a little bummed about was our Sprinkles cupcakes we had instead of cake. When our party was over, we had almost 100 of our 120 cupcakes left! No one had passed them out and obviously not many people went up and grabbed any. As many of you know, Sprinkles cupcakes aren't cheap! lol We ended up dividing them between our family and friends so it worked out in the end. Other than that, everything was perfect and trust me, the Rose Ballroom is an amazing place to have your reception! Thanks Sam and staff!

    Springfield helped us out a lot after a previous vendor went out of buisness. The staff before the the wedding was very helpful and accomodating. They were easily accessible.They were very flexible, especially when everything was on short notice. The staff on the day of the wedding was far more prepared than I had expected. They served my husband and I quickly and made sure we had drinks and food. They made the night run very smoothly. They even had my cake vendor's supplies ready to go at the end of the night and had saved our top tier for us. The food was delicious and very affordable. We are still getting compliments on the food choice. Our family had nothing but great things to say on the day of the event.

    They were a delight. Mostly Michael was. He is the man to talk to i think if he quit the whole place would lose business. I loved everything. The whole event was beautiful!

    We LOVED Spring Field Reception Hall in fulleton. It's in a gorgeous building, and their main hall is really beautiful. Benjamin, the owner, was just fantastic. He has a heavy accent, which was only a challenge at first, but it was obvious that their whole family is eager to help the day be special. They threw in some free services that I didn't ask for because they knew we were on a budget. It was a real value for the money. They have since improved their parking situation as well, which is a big plus. I've attended several weddings there as a guest and continue to love this location.

    I loved everything about our venue location, I wanted something that had a lot of architectural interest and looked a bit Gothic; it helped that this location used to be a masonic lodge. I worked with Letty and Sang on coordinating the ceremony and reception setup for our wedding day. They were both extremely helpful and flexible with allowing my family and friends to setup my decorations on the day of the wedding. There were a few minor issues that had occurred on the day of our wedding (i.e. table setup being different than how we originally agreed upon and last minute changes in location of our cocktail hour), however everything worked out in the end. My husband and I went with their packaged wedding deal, it was the best decision ever since it saved us so much time in finding a bartender, food caterer, and cake maker; we and our guests loved the food. The quality of everything was above and beyond for the price we had paid. Thank you again for making our wedding day so beautiful and awesome!

    We were so fortunate to find SFBC! We were able to have the wedding of our dreams without breaking the bank. We opted for a Sunday wedding. This did a few things for us. We were able to have our ceremony and reception at the same venue but in different areas. We were able to have the ENTIRE building to ourselves. We were able to bring in our own alcohol. We had our ceremony in Carnation Hall on the first floor. The private bridal suite was on the second floor - with an open area to our guests where we had a photo booth. We had our reception in the Rose Ballroom on the third floor. The cocktail hour was on the outside patio with casino tables on the balcony overlooking the Rose Ballroom on the fifth floor. I know - it sounds confusing but it'll make sense when you visit the venue - I promise! You can also check out my photo album - it might help with visuals. :) It gave our guests plenty of room to mingle or take a break from the party - the parents were able to find a quiet spot for sleepy babies without having to go outside.

    The catering is very reasonably priced and, of course, with bringing our own alcohol, it was EXTREMELY well priced. Everyone liked the food but they all raved about the beed filet on baguette with peppercorn sauce hors d'oeuvres!

    The venue has a very classy look to it. It is actually a Masonic Temple built in 1920. It has a very grand feel to it without the grand fees. It was PERFECT for our vintage Alice in Wonderland themed wedding! The Rose Ballroom has high, sweeping ceiling with a magnificent chandelier. Both Carnation Hall and Rose Ballroom have white tulle with string lights adorning the ceiling.

    The staff are great to work with! We had one hiccup when it came to the final headcount on the day of. However, that was resolved very quickly and we were refunded the difference. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing!!

    My husband and I were married here, and it was amazing. The staff was helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The Rose Ballroom was beautiful , and I am so happy we were able to use this venue.

    Newly remodeled insides so the floors and carpets are nice! Make sure you work closely with the staff, they are smart and will take care of you. Venue is really flexible and will work with your vendor and decorating needs.
