Katrina is awesome! She is super easy to work with and was very communicative in the months leading up to our wedding. She has an extensive cache of ceremony materials she's collected, which made it super easy for us to shape our ceremony just how we wanted it. Several of our guests commented on how moving the ceremony was, despite the fact that we didn't include any religious texts or traditional readings - it was all because Katrina is a great writer and came super prepared! We can't recommend her enough! -

Katrina was the perfect fit for our intimate wedding ceremony! We live about 5 hours from Austin so we met with her via zoom to discuss how we wanted our wedding to look and feel. She helped us to customize our ceremony so that it was a perfect representation of our relationship! -

From the moment we met Katrina, we knew she’d be the one to marry us; it just felt right.
Katrina knew exactly how to get us to open up and discuss our love for each other and how we want the ceremony to run. Her documents were super helpful and she worked with our family to get a surprise reading in the mix.
Everything about working with Katrina was seamless and she really listened to us. Her ability to write our love story working a matter of minutes - and be spot on - was an incredible experience.
Katrina even went above & beyond on the day to ensure a sentimental piece (that was out of her scope) was done properly.

She's a hero
Hey World!
My wife and I were at a loss in terms of what our actual ceremony and vows should be. Katrina was able to walk us a through her strategies for writing ceremonies and she created something truly beautiful and unique to us. We cannot understate how much Katrina's experience & talent meant to us. She learned our history as a couple (warts and all) and wrote our story in a way that was amazing when read aloud at the ceremony but that wasn't the 1/2 of it. Her story of our relationship was therapeutic and a gift we'll have and cherish forever.
We recommend everyone use Katrina for their wedding. She's worth twice what she charges. Let your friends and family give a toast, but put the ceremony in the hands of a professional. -

Katrina (Spoken Heart Ceremonies) did an absolutely incredible job as our officiant. Our ceremony absolutely perfect. We could not have been happier with the ceremony she helped us build, which was very much our own and reflected who we are as a couple, while also being official and professional. We have received more compliments about our ceremony than any other part of our wedding, and hiring Katrina was the single best choice we made while planning it. We literally cannot recommend Katrina highly enough and will be forever grateful to her for helping to make our wedding ceremony perfect. -

Katrina is an amazing officiant! She was able to take our poorly told love story and turn it into a beautiful and moving ceremony. Guests loved to tell us after how beautiful the ceremony was and how wonderful Katrina was. Katrina made the whole process very personal for the both of us - and even recommended we do the wine box ceremony - that we can't wait to incorporate into our anniversary every year. -

Kind, Patient, Caring, Amazing
I am so thankful that we decided to book with Katrina. She was not only more thorough and prepared than anyone else I had talked to, she was also more patient with us. We were booking for a wedding that would happen within 2 months, but she came prepared with tools to help us write a beautiful script and even checked in when I forgot to send a part to her THE NIGHT BEFORE! Eek.
It was so helpful to also be surrounded by people who had been to our venue and could guide us through the process.
Thank you Katrina for being so wonderful, patient, caring, and helping us capture moments that we didn't even think of, but now cherish. -

I cannot recommend Katrina & Spoken heart Ceremonies enough. To start with Katrina is so talented at what she does. Our ceremony exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. Our family members still talk about how great the ceremony was. There was not a dry eye in sight, and that is not an exaggeration. Our guests were gushing about our ceremony for weeks after the wedding.
Katrina is incredibly flexible and will be involved as much or as little as you want in creating your wedding ceremony. She was always willing to meet with us, as many times as we needed to get our ceremony the way we wanted it. She helped us with our vows and she captured our story so perfectly. Despite never having met Katrina in real life prior to the ceremony she was able to make our ceremony so special and personal to us. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. She truly has a gift for bringing stories to life!
Additionally she is very thorough and makes sure to get an understanding of family dynamics, sensitive situations, etc. to make things as comfortable as possible for everyone involved and to relieve any stress on the couple.
On top of all of that she is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful humans I have met. On our wedding day and the few weeks leading up to our wedding she checked in, calmed our nerves, offered us advice, and provided comfort in getting through the most emotional moments in our life to date.
I cannot think of a single reason why you shouldn’t book her. If she is available for your wedding date book her, you wont regret it. And if you don’t want to take my word for it set up a meeting with her.

Katrina was one of the best decisions we made when it came to choosing vendors for our wedding! We were very overwhelmed about creating our own wedding ceremony, however she made the process simple and easy to follow! She is so sweet and did an amazing job writing "our story." Also, she is willing to work with you to get it just perfect. We highly recommend hiring Katrina as your wedding officiant! -
