My husband and I had the most gorgeous, intentional and intimate wedding ceremony! It truly was the most fun day ever, and our 30-40 of our closest friends tend to agree. The Sole Repair Shop was my number one choice when it came to selecting a venue as I instantly fell in love with its charm; strung Edison bulb lighting, the rustic concrete floor, the loft with a large perfectly frosted glass window and clean white walls, not to mention the wooden thatch focal wall. Yummy! It was everything we wanted and more. We had an open bar with the most gregarious and kind bartenders, seriously, our guests loved our bartender so much that everyone was on a first name basis by the end of the night. Quinn’s catered our event by serving pretzels and mustard during cocktail hour and an assortment of sliders and fries for dinner— and it was all seriously delicious! The space felt absolutely flawless in size for our group. It was cozy enough to hear without microphones but spacious enough that we felt far from boxed in and limited in movement. Lastly, working with Ashley (the venue event coordinator) in the months prior to the event was total bliss. She was accessible, approachable, reassuring, communicative and a joy to work with! I can’t say it enough, we LOVE Sole Repair and couldn’t have picked a better location even if we tried!

Paula and Barbara took care of setting up seats for the ceremony and transitioning the furniture for the reception. The food was WONDERFUL! We've gotten compliments from all of our guests on the food. The slider bar was a hit!

They were incredibly helpful with getting the drinks that we wanted for our event and working with our other vendors.

I also really appreciated that they were gentle on my budget. As everyone knows, weddings are expensive. Sole Repair provided spectacular service at a fraction of the price. So grateful for that!

We had our August wedding at Sole Repair and it was a great experience beginning to end. Paula and Joan were especially responsive over email, and happy to answer all of our many questions. They helped us create a menu (of stationary and passed appetizers) that was tasty and accommodated our budget, and also helped us to create two custom cocktails for the event - one with a house-infused whiskey! They were flexible with how we used the space, but also provided guidance when asked. During the event, we hit the beverage limit that we'd set, and they subtly communicated our options to us via our wedding coordinator (we opted to cover another half hour of drinks, which was worth it). Our guests gave us lots of compliments about the cool venue. One note: parking is pretty difficult in the area. We strongly encouraged our guests to use a taxi or rideshare service.

I don't think we could have found a more perfect wedding venue, It was just different enough, and Grace (the owner) was a total pleasure to work with. Really responsive with questions, and had great ideas about the space and also helped us find our caterer.
