  My husband and I were recently married at the Chicago Botanic Garden and Katie was our amazing wedding planner. Katie made our wedding day absolutely perfect and the day was effortless for us. This allowed us to fully enjoyed our special day. During the wedding planning process Katie responded to every single one of the hundred or so of exchanged emails between us and always within minutes. It is weeks later and my husband and I still talk about some aspect of our wedding at least once a day. I can't say enough nice things about Katie and we will never forget what she did for us. Thank you Katie for making our wedding day truly spectacular.

  If I could give Katie and "So Dressed Up" 100 stars I would. Katie was such a joy to work with in the months leading up to my October 31 wedding. She is extremely responsive, accommodating, helpful, creative, insightful and kind. She works diligently to bring your vision and desires for the big day to life. When the big day finally arrived I felt I was in safe and capable hands with Katie and her assistant at the helm and that proved to be correct. My husband and parents also cannot thank Katie and her staff enough for all of their help. If you are looking for the best wedding and event planner in Chicago look no further than So Dressed Up.

  Katie Jackson-Meara and CJ Walstrom are two of the best in this business! Katie did the vast majority of the prep work, helping me set everything up. CJ did the follow-up and day of work. It was an amazingly seamless and perfect day! Every single person working our wedding knew exactly what was going on and what to do (thanks to Katie's minute-by-minute timeline which was given to every vendor so everyone knew exactly what was happening and when). Not one person came up and asked me or my husband a question. We were able to enjoy the entire night with each other and all our guests. It was perfect. Katie did an amazing job helping to us to make our dream wedding come true! Katie and CJ were an amazing team and I couldn't have done it without them! I would HIGHLY recommend So Dressed Up for any type of event. Their professionalism and attention to detail was exactly what we were looking for for our wedding. Couldn't be happier with the results!!! Thank you both so much!!!

  Katie from So Dressed Up was so great to work with! It was amazing for me to feel like I could just enjoy the wedding and not worry about anything--she took care of every single detail to a "t." She was so organized, thoughtful, and made my feel at ease. Overall we had an amazing experience working with Katie and So Dressed Up and I would recommend her to any bride!

She helped me achieve the wedding of my dreams by incorporating my ideas and inspiration into an actual plan. Katie always kept me on top of things by providing me with detailed to-do lists, meetings, and emails. She kept up communication with all vendors, particularly the day before and day of the wedding. In addition to making sure all bases were covered and deliveries on schedule, she helped organize the decor and details. At our reception, Katie and her assistant were always around lending a hand and ensuring everything was executed flawlessly. My husband, Joe and I could never have had such an amazing time without her! She let us truly enjoy our perfect day without a worry. We are forever grateful.   We hired Katie for "day-of" wedding services and were beyond pleased with her work. The "day-of" lingo is just about the furthest from what she actually did for us. While we made most of the vendor decisions and came up with the ideas for our wedding ourselves, Katie moved mountains to execute our vision. She was able to recommend great bridal shops, providers of paper goods, and a photo booth company that was super easy and fun. She was also the keeper of tons of paperwork and helped to keep us on track over the last several weeks prior to the big day. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Katie took on the vast majority of the communication with vendors to set up a minute-by-minute schedule so that everything ran smoothly. When our art museum wedding backfired a bit and a large sculpture of a naked woman was installed in exactly the spot where we had planned to say, "I do," Katie and our florist attended meetings with the museum contacts to figure out our "Plan B." This was certainly above and beyond what she had signed on for, but Katie didn't hesitate for a moment when we mentioned the snafu. She anticipated our needs at every moment over the last few weeks up until the last song on the dance floor - she was packing up bags of candy from the candy bar so that there wasn't a line as people exited the museum. Katie is sweet, warm, and friendly...but at the same time, she is super professional, efficient, and a phenomenal communicator. Everyone will tell you to "enjoy every minute of your wedding day." I did, thanks in large part to Katie. She is the best!

  We used Katie for ‘day-of’ coordination services for our wedding. From the beginning, Katie was very thorough and straightforward with the coordination process – we had done a lot of work ourselves leading up to the wedding, but Katie was able to help us finalize the little details and make sure nothing was overlooked. We felt very comfortable with her and very confident in her coordinating skills! She kept in constant touch with us and our vendors, making sure we were all on the same page and knew what was happening when. She struck an excellent balance between being on top of everything but not being overbearing. She made the whole day so much easier, and just knowing that there was someone to take care of anything that came up made the day so much more enjoyable for us, our families and guests. We would hire Katie again in a heartbeat, and we recommend her to anyone planning any kind of event.

Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. She went above and beyond her role due to the many last minute challenges we had with our venue leading up to the big day. She handled herself like a true professional, ensured that we were able to get exactly what we wanted, and set my mind at ease that the day would turn out perfectly. When the wedding day came I never had to worry about a single detail besides enjoying myself. Our wedding would not have been the success it was without Katie. Any couple would be so lucky to have So Dressed Up help plan their wedding or any event for that matter.

I highly recommend Katie and her services as she customizes her work to your needs. We had two ceremonies (Hindu and Christian) and reception all in one day! We also had a unique rehearsal as we had another traditional Indian ceremony the day before our wedding and she rolled with the punches to make us feel comfortable.

However, during the consultation it was clear that Katie was passionate, organized and determined to execute everything that we had planned for our special day. We thought we would have an extra pair of hands for the big day and ended up getting so much more! Katie and her team were beyond helpful not only on our wedding day, but akso with all of the final touches throughout the month leading up to our wedding, which surprised us since we had a day-of-coordination relationship. Katie was creative, knowledgeable and willing to work with us on our out of the box ideas and effectively coordinated with our various vendors to bring everything to life we had anticipated.   Katie was a huge help to me and my family at our wedding in November 2011. We could not have done this without her. She made sure everything was perfect the day of the event so I could get ready and relax before the big night. She is extremely professional, helpful and very responsive. I would recommend her for anyone that needs support during wedding planning.

  I used So Dressed Up for my Fall 2010 wedding and I cannot say enough good things about Katie and her services. As a PR professional, I am always attending or working on events so I was a little neurotic about the details and Katie's professional, organized and calm nature made everything so smooth and organized. I can't recommend her enough for a bride looking to ensure their wedding day goes smoothly!
