  Fabulous, competent, so pleasant and fun!

  Candace is worth her weight in gold. SO efficient, pleasant and capable. She had our reception planned literally down to the minute and it was executed beautifully. She was always in the background but totally available throughout the night until the end. I can't imagine a better wedding planner.

  Candace was the most organized, poised, lovely wedding coordinator you could find. She made each and every step a breeze! Even with decisions I didn’t know how to make or didn’t know to make- she understood me and made everything beautiful. Can’t recommend her enough!!

One of the things we truly appreciated about Candace was her keen understanding of our vision. She integrated the unique elements we wanted, even going above and beyond suggesting Sublime Donuts to serve as a creative and delicious addition to dessert which she picked up the day of! Beyond her exceptional organizational skills, Candace's demeanor impressed us as well. Candace brought my vision to life and used her expertise to make sure everything looked flawless. Her organization and attention to detail made our wedding day go so smoothly. All of our guests and family raved about the amazing day of coordinator we had. Candace kept everyone and everything on schedule. She was kind, responsive, and professional throughout our planning process and wedding events. We are so grateful for everything Candace did for us and would recommend Smooth As Butter to anyone!

  Angel from Heaven

  My husband and I had a courthouse elopement and once we came clean to friends and family decided we wanted to do something small and casual (and inexpensive!).
  
  As this was my second marriage I knew how quickly expenses can get out of hand but I was candid about my budget and never felt pressure to go above it. Candance kept my needs in mind and managed to plan the most magical day. We picked a venue at Oakland Cemetery and a few weeks before the wedding she noticed that bell tower has not been rented out for the day of our wedding and convinced them to throw in the extra space for no extra charge.
  
  I wanted the wedding to feel easy and casual and she delivered while still making it look anything but. Everything was so beautiful.
  
  Her husband was our videographer and while I didn’t know if I wanted a video- I’m SO glad we have one. It’s so special and helps me remember all the little details I forgot in the busy bliss.
  
  I cannot recommend these two enough.

She is on top of communication, is willing to hop on a call a a moment's notice, and was a great thought partner on design, flow, and timeline. She never winced once at any of our requests or questions, and I am certain was handling fires we never even knew about. She has a calm and warm demeanor which was the perfect antidote to the chaos and stress of organizing such a major affair.

  Literally smooth as butter

  Okay Candace at Smooth as Butter made our wedding go off without a hitch!!! I couldn't have asked for a better day-of. She was so on top of everything. We brought DIY decor and florals and she set it all up and made it so beautiful. We really could not be happier that we went with Smooth as Butter.

  Successful events have more details, yet less details are seen and...

  Candace is a master at organizing and attending to all the numerous behind the scenes details with grace and ease! Our daughter's wedding weekend went flawlessly because of Candace's professionalism, attention to detail, and her ability to anticipate the needs of so many before and during the wedding and all the events prior to. I'd like to also let others know, with all going on the day of wedding, when I saw my elderly aunt and uncle arriving from afar, I reached for Candace and asked her to grab them and guide them to their seats as my uncle walks with a cane. Without hesitation she went to them and gave them her immediate attention to guide them. I will always be grateful, as she made them feel very cared for in that moment. I would highly recommend her, as she truly gave us the best gift of all, the ability to relax and breathe and be fully present in the moments that create memories!

She made the day of our wedding move smoothly and was there to help out with last minute details (including picking up our wedding cake from the bakery herself and running to the drugstore during the event to pick me up some eyelash glue when my lashes started to separate during the reception!!!). Any issues that arose during the night, she took care of. And she was also full of amazing ideas that really helped us out during the planning process! We literally could not have done it without her.

  The best wedding planning decision we made!

  We hired Candace a year & a half before our June 2022 wedding for partial planning services and it was the best wedding decision we made! On our initial call, I told Candace about the vibe I wanted & she immediately knew of a venue (that I didn't) that was absolutely perfect, and I knew it was the right choice to hire her! She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process, and was in lockstep with me & my vision the whole time. Plus she didn't balk at my more wild ideas! She has a list of incredible trusted vendors that was a lifeline, and all of her recommendations were perfect. She handled the logistics (from proposals to load-ins), which let me have the most enjoyable & fun wedding planning process imaginable. The day went off without a hitch & our guests couldn't stop talking about how enjoyable our event was. I was so sad when our wedding was over because I didn't get to work with her anymore! I can't thank Candace enough for all of her hard work on our day.

On our initial call, I told Candace about the vibe I wanted & she immediately knew of a venue (that I didn't) that was absolutely perfect, and I knew it was the right choice to hire her! She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process, and was in lockstep with me & my vision the whole time. Plus she didn't balk at my more wild ideas! She has a list of incredible trusted vendors that was a lifeline, and all of her recommendations were perfect. She handled the logistics (from proposals to load-ins), which let me have the most enjoyable & fun wedding planning process imaginable. The day went off without a hitch & our guests couldn't stop talking about how enjoyable our event was. I was so sad when our wedding was over because I didn't get to work with her anymore! I can't thank Candace enough for all of her hard work on our day.

  The Michael Jordan of Wedding Planning. Candace is a wonderful, kind, energetic person who created the most magical experience for my wife and I. Our Indian wedding was zero stress and had all the garlic naan. We were supposed to have a violinist play but they cancelled at the last minute with COVID but Candace sorted everything out and hired the most bad a** saxophone player in Atlanta. If you want to have a wedding that is (f*cking) unforgettable, call Candace and the Smooth As Butter Team!

  I can't begin to formulate words to describe how great Candace and her assistant are! Candace was responsive from our very first phone call. She is detail oriented and made sure to ask what services I needed. I must also mention how affordable her services are. I utilized her coordination services only. Her method of organization is genius and made it easy to communicate all my wants, vendor information, and day-of decisions. She communicated effectively and efficiently with me and my vendors and made sure our final walkthrough was smooth. She listened to my dreams of a somewhat DIY wedding and helped make it come to life! She was so kind to all of my family and friends in the wedding party, She went above and beyond to be sure both me and my husband were taken care and and without any stresses on our wedding day. I would choose her over and over again and can't wait to work with her again.

  Candace at Smooth as Butter hands down is the reason my wedding was such a success. From the very beginning, she is responsive, friendly, full of great advice and creative solutions to any wedding dilemma. She is also so fun and just a super nice person. I decided to handle a lot of decor aspects myself, had a very specific grand exit, and had many many vendors. She perfectly planned the logistics as well as gave me style advice for everything (she has flawless taste). She is a dream to work with! We had some last minute vendor issues and she solved the problem before I even knew there was one. She is the person you want confirming, planning, and handling every aspect of your wedding.   Amazing Coordinator!

  I'm convinced that Candace is the wedding god's gift to earth! We were planning a (postponed) wedding out of state, and we truly couldn't have done it without Candace. Like many couples, we considered if we needed a day-of-coordinator. The answer is YES, and the only right answer is HIRE CANDACE. There were so many little details that she helped us with, and also put out fires the day of that we didn't even know were happening. I swear she was in 8 places at once. We are beyond grateful we found her, and she helped us have the best wedding day ever!!
