First things first - Jen is a wonderful person, extremely elegant and respectful officiant, and exactly who you want at your wedding. Hire her. Don't even hesitate, just do it.
We had really been struggling to find an officiant who would write an custom ceremony that was feminist, non-religious, but reverent. Jen came highly recommended by our photographer (also, fabulous) and I am so grateful I found her. The ceremony she wrote was *chef's kiss* perfect with lighthearted moments and beautiful reflections on life. She worked with us to create the ceremony and you could absolutely tell in almost everything she wrote. We also used her help and worksheet for writing vows. I think this made both my partner and I much more comfortable with what we wrote, and much less likely to procrastinate. I highly recommend this. Not only was her script beautiful, but her presentation of said script, and presence alone was perfect. I am so glad to have met her and had her be part of our wedding. She truly made the day as well as helped set the tone for our future. -

I honestly do not think we could have found a better officiant than Jen. If the ceremony is the most important part of the wedding for you (which it should be) then choose Jen as your officiant. Working with her was my favorite part of the wedding planning process. All the other parts of wedding planning can be very stressful but communicating with Jen reminded me of what was really important…. I was going to marry the love of my life! Jen sends a questionnaire of 34 questions so she can understand both of yall as a couple. The questionnaire she sent us seemed like a lot at first but we loved answering all the questions. It was a deep dive into our relationship. It helped Jen truly know us and helped her create a ceremony that represented us perfectly. The couple times we met with her were great! As someone with a little bit of anxiety (especially during all the wedding planning!!), I trusted her and I trusted her process.
After the ceremony, everyone was telling me how awesome Jen was. I think I heard more compliments about her than my dress LOL. And I totally understand why. Jen set such a great tone and really made everyone feel part of the ceremony. The ceremony was not your traditional religious ceremony but even the religious people loved it…even though it was non-religious, it was very respectable and drew everyone in. I had so many people tell me it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever witnessed.
I asked Jen for a copy of the words spoken at the ceremony and was expecting just the text in an email but no…it was a beautiful PDF document. It was so organized from the font she picked and a simple but beautiful mountain image. We plan to print it out and place it in a special binding!

Jen is amazing to work with. She’ll listen to you and your relationship story, and values, to create a unique and authentic ceremony.
Jen officiated our wedding and the ceremony was without question our favorite part of the day. It was spectacular. Jen did a fantastic job preparing us for what to expect, leading us through the vow writing process, and then during the ceremony, grounding us in the moment. We felt prepared, excited, and surrounded by love and support.
Our guests all LOVED the ceremony as well. I was blown away by how many people shared how authentic, honest, and heartful the ceremony was. People kept asking how we knew Jen, thinking she was an old friend. When I shared we'd only known Jen a few months, our guests almost didn't believe it. Weeks later they’re still raving about the ceremony… and more importantly, my now husband and I continue to cherish it.

Where do I even begin. Jen is absolutely amazing. I couldn't even imagine a better wedding ceremony for my husband and I. Jen infused our personality and our love story into the words so well that I felt like she has known us for years! Our guests could not stop asking us where we found her and how she created it. There was not a dry eye in the entire venue (including the photographers!)
Jen made sure to include us in every decision of the ceremony, including who we wanted to honor and the different traditions we wanted to infuse into it. She made us feel closer to our family and friends and created a beautiful place for us to say our I dos. Jen even helped us by giving us a list of I dos and guidance on writing our vows to make the process as stress less as possible.
I don't know what we would have done without Jen. Her words made our wedding the most special day. Whatever you do, book Jen for your wedding or any other ceremony. You will not be disappointed. -

Oh Jen, you made our day!
My Husband and I are proud to say that we have worked with Jen twice and were overjoyed each time. Jen officiated our elopement back in 2015 on a snowy February Day in Nederland. The words she spoke after only knowing us a short time speaks true to her craft. We knew that once we decided to renew our vows after 5 years, it would only be meaningful if Jen would officiate. She performed our vow renewal with the same beauty and kindness that we expected and made the day so meaningful for the both of us. I dont have enough great things to say about Jen. She has a talent for ceremony that is a wonder to bare witness to. She will craft a ceremony so intimate in style that you will truly feel like you and your someone are the only ones in attendance, until she gracefully makes the entire guest list feel included in your love. I cant wait to renew again! -

If you want a generalized wedding ceremony that any officiant can find on a Google site, Jen is not the person for you. If you want someone who will make you feel special, take the time to get to know you and your partner, and really go above and beyond for your big day, then Jen is exactly who you should get to officiate your wedding.
I cannot say enough beautiful words about Jen. We knew right away that we did not want a standard cookie-cutter wedding ceremony. Our wedding was special to us and we wanted a ceremony that would reflect that. We met with a few other officiants and no one had the same fit like Jen. She is so personable, charismatic, and an overall wonderful person. We spent just over an hour in our first meeting; most of which was spent just getting to know each other and talking as if we were old friends. She let us know that she was able to provide a bilingual ceremony which was our highest priority and that not only would she tailor the ceremony to us but that she was going to spend her time getting to know us before the wedding. She sent us very thorough questionnaires to help her understand our journey, we met in person so she could see our dynamic, and she checked in with us multiple times before the wedding which eased our minds completely.
The wedding ceremony was so special and monumental we cannot describe how beautifully Jen's words captivated our story, our journey, and the adventures still ahead.Because she took the time to get to truly know us, it felt as though a friend was officiating our wedding. On our one month anniversary she sent us a follow up check in to see how we were doing and to send us a digital copy of the ceremony so we can have it forever. Re-reading her words brought back all the emotions from our big day and filled us with so much joy. I am so happy that we chose Jen to officiate, I could not imagine anyone else marrying us! -

It's not a stretch at all to say that Jen made our wedding day. It was important to us to have a ceremony that was personal, meaningful and true to the couple that we are. Working with Jen, we got all of that and more. I had countless people say to me that our ceremony was the most personal, moving wedding ceremony they had ever seen. When I think back to the single most important decision we made about our wedding (aside from the decision to have it in the first place!), it was having Jen as our celebrant. She is incredible, and we are so grateful. -

We knew Jen was the right person to officiate our wedding from the moment we met her. Down to earth, humble, kind and a great sense of humor. Jen allowed for us to have as much or as little support in creating our vows and having a voice in our ceremony as we wanted. Through ritual and spoken words, she created the most beautiful, intimate ceremony and space during our small, mountain wedding and we couldn’t be more grateful for her. -

We are super thankful we chose Jen to officiate our special day! She was listed as one of the recommended officiants by our venue, but we didn't want to choose just anyone. We really wanted to find someone that we felt a connection to and after reading about her, we felt this was definitely the right match.
We met with her on a video call to get to know each other and she gracefully worked in our story into the ceremony. She gave us lots of freedom to choose how to design our ceremony, and provided a wonderful guide to help us write our own vows.
The most amazing part was that she did an incredible job helping us do part of our ceremony in Italian. Her Italian was beautiful, semplicemente bellissima! We were so happy we could incorporate this special element into our wedding day. She has a unique way of bringing everyone together in the moment and making everyone in attendance feel like they are really part of the ceremony and a meaningful part of our commitment to each other too. So many of our guests said they loved how different and beautiful it was to feel that connection.
Jen was very caring and attentive to our needs, especially the day of! The simple, quick reminders to breathe, be present and hydrate were so very helpful on a very busy day.

A perfect ceremony
Jen married my wife and I a few weeks ago in New York. We could not have been happier with the ceremony. The special thing about Jen is that she is able to create a ceremony that is personal and heart-felt, as if she has known you forever. She keeps it light-hearted but meaningul at the same time.
She makes sure to get to know you and your spouse, and your relationship story. In this way she personalizes your ceremony as if she were family, while being incredibly well spoken and captivating. Jen getting to know us, lead my wife and I to think about ourselves and our future. And that sort of relaxed reflection was meaningful to us leading up to our wedding. Jen had suggestions and advice for us in how to make our ceremony unique and personal to us. She had so many creative ideas that I had never heard of before, and each were meaningful and unique. But she also made clear that the priority was us, and what we wanted, and the type of ceremony we envisioned. Our ceremony was big- about 250 people. But she made it feel like it was a small intimate gathering. Our guests told us over and over again that the ceremony was the most heart-warming ceremony they had ever attended. We can't thank Jen enough. -

The perfect ceremony!
We were looking for a bilingual officiant to accommodate both families languages. Jen worked with us and created a beautiful ceremony which made everyone feel included. She was able to incorporate all the elements that we desired to be part of the ceremony, making our ceremony unique and special. We highly recommend hiring her for your ceremony. She is the best!! -

We wanted more ritual than words. We didn’t have guests, our ceremony was just for us, and Jen made it perfect. We knew we wanted a handfasting rather than a traditional wedding. She knew exactly what to do. -

Absolutely Amazing!!
WOW! Jen was THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. She personalized our ceremony to a T. I'm a goofy Irish Catholic girl, and my husband is a sarcastic science minded man, so putting something together for us definitely wasn't typical and/or easy. But, that didn't stop Jen, and what she put together for us was MAGICAL. She meshed our backgrounds, beliefs, and personalities seamlessly. Many of our guests kept saying, through the ceremony, they felt like they truly got to know us as a couple. And, even though our ceremony didn't take place in a church, and wasn't performed by a priest, my Catholics all definitely agreed, they felt the presence of God through the many tears of joy, loads of laughter, and absolute LOVE felt throughout our ceremony. My only regret, is that I didn't get a videographer to capture that beautiful moment. -

The Best experience we could have asked for!
Jen is just incredible. We couldn't have been happier in our experience with her. Even meeting for the first time we felt completely comfortable with her...very good energy. She was very thorough in getting to know us as a couple and concise with what we wanted. We had a less traditional ceremony then maybe most would have and she nailed it, all if our guests loved it, and it was perfect. She really portrayed our love and who we are as a couple. It was truly a great experience working with Jen and we couldn't ask for more. -

I'm tearing up just thinking about the eloquent and poignant ceremony Jen created for our wedding day. Jen is an absolute joy to work with. Every sit down we had with her we left feeling more confident. We enjoyed her company so much that we went on for hours each time and left feeling rejuvenated by her positive spirit. From the moment we met Jen we knew she was the perfect person for our big day. She made us feel comfortable and at ease and we knew we needed that presence while we were up in front of everyone. Jen is a gracious and talented speaker and strung together beautiful quotes along with an amazingly thoughtful background of our relationship. She really helped our guests feel involved in the ceremony and connected to each other and us. We had a mixture of folks in the audience and were surprised to hear some of our more conservative guests blown away by the ceremony and willing to lean in to the ceremonial smudging that we had. She also managed to create something so lovely that even my stoic father shed some tears. Jen took the time to really get to know us over the course of the process and I love that she wove a lot of our own words into the ceremony. It made everything so personal and representative of us. Jen is so poetic and offered the perfect balance of romance and magic and honesty to our ceremony. We wouldn't change a thing and are so grateful that we met Jen. I give the highest recommendation possible to Jen, her process and her work. -

Wow....Jen gave everything to our wedding, we truly felt like the most important clients she's ever had. By the time Jen arrived in the bride room on my wedding day to check in with me and hug me, she felt like an old friend...a friend who knew me to the core, and was there to walk me to the threshold of my new life with my best friend. Jen took the time to learn about and understand my new husband and I as individuals and as a couple. She gave us an extraordinary ceremony that reflected our story, our values and our sense of humor. Our guests were delighted with the ceremony and many of them approached me to ask how long we've known each other, and they were all genuinely surprised to hear that we just found her on Wedding Wire just searching for an Officient. Jen gave us a stunning, memorable, and extraordinarily personal and unique ceremony.
