  10/10 Entertainment Service!

  DJ Emil was an outstanding entertainment director for our wedding! His preparation was thorough and helpful to make sure he had everything he needed to make our wedding night perfect. He gave advice when needed and took our direction thoughtfully. Our guests were raving about how fun the music was all night. I would definitely hire again for any type of event.

  An amazing DJ and Photo Booth Experience!

  DJ Emil was incredibly understanding and helpful in creating the wedding we wanted. Emil asked the right questions to fill the gaps we did not even see and Devin was very skilled with creating the photo booth design and responsive to the changes we wanted to make.

  Fantastic DJ!

  We worked with DJ Erick, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was very responsive and communicative, made the process fun, worked with us to ensure we had the music we were hoping for, and read the crowd very well during the reception to keep things lively and fun. Fully recommend!

  Amazing DJ and Emcee

  DJ Emil was absolutely amazing and was the perfect dj and emcee for our wedding. We loved his voice and his personality- it really made out guests feel welcomed and they were all very engaged. Emil went above and beyond to make our big day what we envisioned and wow did he come through. We really really would hire him again.

  DJ got us DANCING NONSTOP + we loved the photobooth!

  We worked with Sky’s the Limit Entertainment for our wedding in Mill Valley in July and we cannot thank them enough for helping to make our wedding embody the fun and carefree vibes we envisioned with their MC-ing, DJ-ing and Photobooth services. For anyone in the Bay Area and beyond (check their service region) looking for professional, experienced, and skilled DJ/MC and Photobooth services with super nice people, Sky’s the Limit Entertainment is it!
  
  Sky’s the Limit services included prep materials, meetings, songs / genre recommendations, and thoughtful and engaging MC-ing; other services like song editing, etc. are also available for an additional fee. Since we knew the music genre we wanted for the big parts of our day, we relied on DJ Emil’s expertise to tailor and adjust as needed on the day to enhance or create the vibe for different parts of our wedding. He executed everything perfectly, and his recommendations for whatever we didn’t have a preference for were perfect! Our dance song needed to be edited for the dance routine we found on youtube (shout out to the dance professionals at Steezy Studios), and DJ Emil edited it precisely, accurately, and quickly! DJ Emil’s deep music knowledge is invaluable and, depending on what your relationship is with music, he seems to be able to provide the right level of guidance anyone would need.
  
  DJ Emil’s organized work style enabled us to use our wedding planning time effectively by focusing on the music only when it was needed, and with his high caliber of work, we never worried needlessly. We trusted that he would tell us if he needed something from us and vice versa. His MC-ing throughout the reception injected so much energy, fun, and love at the right moments for our wedding and helped us fully realize the importance of a great MC! He hyped us up for our entrance, got our guests organized for the food and photobooths, made us dance nonstop, and nearly brought us to tears at the end of the night when he surprised us with a sweet couple moment. Our guests commented on how helpful it was to know what was happening when–a testament to how well he worked with our wonderful coordinator, Queen’s Creative Events, to keep everything running smoothly and on time. And last but not least, the photobooth was such a hit with our guests!!! Devin Ariel worked with us to get our formatting for the photostrips and the landing pages and her attention to detail and collaborative approach was deeply appreciated. On the day of, we were so grateful for Devin Ariel’s management of the photobooth–from ensuring it was working smoothly, to nudging our guests to include a copy in our guestbook, and for all the help and guidance throughout the night as people (including us) kept going back to it! She was so patient, kind, and friendly and it made a huge difference in everyone’s experience using the photobooth. Also the photobooth itself was super modern with many cool features, and we had no idea it would come with so many fun props! Thank you DJ Emil and Devin Ariel for helping to make our wedding day as fun and joyous as it was!

  The life of the party!

  We hired Emil and Ariel to be our DJ and photobooth folks and they really knocked it out of the park! They were incredibly professional, courteous, and a joy to work with. Their thoughtfulness and attention to the smallest of details really took our event the extra mile. I would hands-down hire them again - highly recommend them!!!

  great music, good communication, 10/10!

  Sky's the limit was great for our wedding!! They kept everyone on the dance floor, took even our more out there requests, had a great photo booth set up that guests actually used, and even managed to play a waltz my grandparents requested without breaking up the party vibe. They were great at making suggestions when we needed them and listening when we knew what we wanted to do. And they even made an audio recording of the ceremony for us, which was an added bonus we weren't expecting but really loved! I'd absolutely hire them again.

  Emil was fantastic!

  Emil was FANTASTIC. From the very beginning he was super responsive and a great communicator (which we learned was not typical for all wedding vendors).
  
  He also took the time to really get to know us as a couple and accommodated all of our special requests. I had even planned to surprise my wife by playing a song on the guitar and he helped me execute this flawlessly (and without anyone knowing ahead of time).
  
  He's intuitive, willing to take requests and I can confidently say there were people on the dance floor until the very last minute. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

  10/10 DJ for a 10/10 Wedding

  Emilien was absolutely incredible! He did the music for our ceremony and reception. The timing of the ceremony music was perfect with the fading in and out of three different songs. The Emceeing of the evening kept the flow going really well. The music played was awesome! And they were so great at being flexible when we found out the day of that our niece had written a song that she wanted to sing. Emilien was able to get a mic set up for her and everything. Cannot recommended enough!

  Emilien captured our vibe perfectly! He kept the party flowing!! Emilien made us feel comfortable, excited during the planning process and fully delivered the day of. He was a key component in making our day even better! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!!!!

  Best DJ hands down

  My husband and I wanted a really good DJ for our wedding. We wanted to make sure we hired someone who not only played the music we wanted, but who knew how to read the crowd and not only get the party started, but keep it going. DJ Emil was just that guy. We interviewed a couple of DJ’s who were in our price range and Emil was the most thorough. He not only asked us questions about the music we enjoy but also asked questions about us as a couple.Hiring him was very easy. The contract was simple, yet effective, and staying in contact with Emil to ask questions and make changes was effortless. He went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, even going so far as to splice the song we wanted our first dance to and upload a special template we purchased for the photo booth. And yes, his services also include the option of having a photo booth, which our guests absolutely loved. Our guests were able to print however many copies of the photos they wanted (which was great for our big group of friends who each wanted a photo) and we received a link after the wedding to look, aww and laugh at. Emil arrived early the day of the wedding to make sure everything was set up and that things went smoothly. He played all the songs that were important to us and his MC skills were immaculate - at one point we started to fall behind schedule a bit but he was able to get us back on track so we could do all the things we wanted. I’ve been to so many weddings and have to say that DJ Emil is one of the best. Hire him and you won’t regret it.

  Emil was a wonderful DJ/MC for our wedding that we finally had happen after 2 years of postponements with the pandemic. Prior to the wedding day (in both the original 2020 date and final 2022 date), he really took the time to understand our musical tastes and timeline details prior to the wedding with multiple phone calls - we really appreciated the attention to detail. I really believe the music is the soul of the wedding, and Emil went above and beyond in embodying that. All the speaker and mic setup was perfect around the venue (especially with the clever mic hidden behind the arch for our officiant), he executed on playing all the songs we requested, and manifested the fun energy the crowd wanted on the dance floor. You could tell he knows how to read the room and give the crowd what the want to hear. His emceeing was also fantastic, as his voice and announcements had this perfect mix of energy and eloquence we loved. He nailed the timing on all the announcements, with the added bonus of providing us much needed direction when we blanked on what to do per the timeline. The photobooth was also a hit with the guests, with lots of smiling (and goofy) faces in those pics. All in all, Emil really orchestrated the perfect vibe we wanted for the night. The soundtrack to that wedding is forever imbued in my head.   Incredible DJ

  Emilien goes above and beyond to create the perfect event. The music was great and he organized getting a cello and keyboard for my nieces to play a song. He arrived early to set up the instruments and his equipment and was through and through incredibly responsive and helpful. The photobooth was a huge hit as well!

  Best DJ services I could have asked for!!

  I cannot say enough great things about DJ Emil and his services! Emil was responsive and professional from the initial inquire, follow up questions and calls, to the months and weeks leading up to my wedding. I planned my wedding from across the country and I was so pleased with Emil's helpfulness during this process. He had great suggestions to improve the flow of the event, but was very receptive to what we thought would be best for us and fit our needs. He also threw in some very personal, thoughtful touches at the end of our reception. And importantly, EVERYONE at our wedding was on the dance floor at one point or another. Everyone who I have spoken to since would not stop saying how much fun they had. My husband and I also had a blast, thanks to Emil!   I cannot say enough great things about DJ Emil and his services! Emil was responsive and professional from the initial inquire, follow up questions and calls, to the months and weeks leading up to my wedding. I planned my wedding from across the country and I was so pleased with Emil's helpfulness during this process. He had great suggestions to improve the flow of the event, but was very receptive to what we thought would be best for us and fit our needs. He also threw in some very personal, thoughtful touches at the end of our reception. And importantly, EVERYONE at our wedding was on the dance floor at one point or another. Everyone who I have spoken to since would not stop saying how much fun they had. My husband and I also had a blast, thanks to Emil! All in all, I cannot recommend Sky's The Limit enough if you are planning any kind of event. Thank you again, Emil!!

  Emlien was a huge part of making our wedding day special. He took the time to prepare with us ahead of time so there were no last minute stressors on the big day. He brought the perfect balance of fun energy and a relaxed demeanor to make the event both sentimental and exciting. He followed up by making us a unique song compilation of some of the songs from our special day. He was fantastic and we would absolutely recommend him!

  Wedding- March 2019

  Emil was a joy to work with. I wasn’t the easiest groom to deal with as I was pretty serious about our music selection, however that did not negatively affect Emil. He was very professional, open minded and extremely genuine. A great partner to work with and I thank Emil for all that he did to help make our day special. I would highly recommend the services of Sky’s the Limit.

  My husband and I worked with Emlien for our November 4 wedding at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley. When we first started looking for a DJ, it was in the early planning stage of our wedding. When we connected with Emlien, we were really impressed by how helpful he was - even before hiring him, he gave us advice on planning the wedding, coordinating the ceremony, etc - just going above and beyond. We must have talked to him at least 3-4 times before the wedding - each time, he was very gracious, punctual, and kind. He even made us an awesome mix for our first dance! At the wedding, he was on-top of the schedule and made sure the event and dancing flowed with varying levels of energy and music. We also really appreciated how he blended our music taste with his expertise to make sure that our guests had a great time!   Talented & Professional DJ For a Great Price!

  Before our wedding, I had reached out and talked to a few Bay Area DJs but ultimately ended up working with Emil at Sky's the Limit because he seemed easy to work with and the price was very reasonable. When I first talked to Emil on the phone, I had a good feeling about him - he was very professional, experienced, and very passionate about music. After it was all said and done, it turned out to be a great decision!
  
  The entire process of selecting songs and creating playlists was very easy, and Emil was always responsive whenever I had a question. He gave advice when I needed it, but wasn't pushy. He also came to the venue walkthrough with our wedding coordinator even though it wasn't required. When I asked if he had a projector, he initially said no but ended up buying one and adding that to his service because it was a popular request. It was so much more convenient to deal with the music, lighting, and projector (for slideshow) through one person.
  
  Music is such an important element in a wedding, and he helped to make the wedding day such an amazing experience. From the beautiful ceremony music, to helping announcing groups of people for photos, to announcing the wedding party as well as giving introductions for the wedding toasts, to the wonderful dinner music, and finally to DJing/mixing the dancing music - he was smooth, professional, and fun all at the same time. I highly recommend you consider Emil to DJ at your wedding or event!
