WOW! We are absolutely blown away by Ruth and Gary’s endless talent. Sky Cinema Films hands-down has been the absolute best to work with, and you can guarantee that they are going to capture every moment and emotion of your big day.
When it comes down to editing and putting together the videos, it’s going to tell a story each time. From the teaser, to the highlight, to the full one hour edit, they did not miss a beat.
Ruth and Gary are also both so pleasant to work with and they make you feel comfortable, which I think is so important! We had so much fun working with them.
This is true cinematography… our entire wedding day has been created into a movie. We are speechless with how amazing everything came out. Sky Cinema Films did not disappoint! You will not regret this decision of hiring them for your wedding day. Highly recommended!!

I first heard about Sky Cinema from a wedding I was in. I recall everything being so flawless that day, and Ruth and her team made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (I can be very camera shy), so they had a lasting impression on me. About a year and a half later, I got engaged and my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process right away. We met with a few other vendors but Sky Cinema had always stuck out, and again, I had previous experience with them and we loved all their work, so it was an easy choice to make! We were in contact with owner Ruth Samson from the beginning. Ruth is responsive, meticulous and funny! We really felt we meshed with Ruth and her partner and husband, Garry. She took all of our ideas and made them come to life. Ruth and Garry know how to genuinely bring out a smile, laughter, and happy tears on your wedding day. Their team really made us feel so comfortable. You've got to have the right personality and passion for this type of work and it really shows with Sky Cinema! We highly recommend Ruth, Garry and their team! -

Sky Cinema Films was highly recommended to us by our photographer and friends, and they did not disappoint. Ruth made the planning process easy, and her whole team made us feel comfortable behind the camera on our wedding day. We are so amazed by our highlight video and couldn't stop rewatching it when we first got it back. The edits are seamless and the video included all important aspects of our wedding with our preferred song choices. This team is truly the best! Thank you so much! -

Ruth and her team were so professional, knowledgable and organized! Everyone worked so hard and made sure all the precious moments were captured! Not enough words to say how fabulous our experience with Ruth & Gary were! Booking a videographer was one of the last things that we did before we weren’t sure if it was worth it. Boy were we wrong! We are so grateful that we decided to do this. They were such a delight to work with. Before the wedding, we met for video ideas and what we did and didn’t like. During the wedding day they were so sweet and friendly and just a pleasure. We just received our video and OMG its amazing!! We HIGHLY recommend Sky Cinema Films as your videographer!! Ruth and Garry are so kind and fun to work with! They are very professional and easy to communicate with. Their work speaks for itself- they have an eye for beautiful moments and are able to put together BEAUTIFUL video of a special event like our wedding. We got married a little over a week ago and they have already shown us a short clip of our wedding day and we are so in love. At the beginning of our wedding planning journey we weren't sure if we wanted to hire a videographer, but I'm so glad we did! We really wanted the Sky Cinema team because they offered livestreaming, and we had a number of virtual guests because of COVID. In addition to the livestream ceremony we also invested in a highlight video, and we're so happy we did! Ruth and Garry managed to capture our personalities and moments from the day so beautifully and it's really something we'll treasure for years and years to come. Each time we watch the video, it takes us right back. We had some reception issues with the livestream so unfortunately our guests couldn't actually watch live, but Ruth and Garry were able to upload the video soon after the ceremony so our guests could go online to our private website and watch us get married at their convenience. Not everything goes according to plan with wedding planning, but Ruth and Garry helped us pivot and make sure we got a great highlight video and our virtual guests could see us tie the knot. Thanks to the Sky Cinema team! -

We got married on 9/5/2020. We had one guest because the pandemic didn’t allow us to celebrate as we wanted. I am from overseas and so is my husband. So we thought about LIVE STREAMING the ceremony so my mother/brother/family and so my husband family could see it. The church offers live streaming from. A phone but we though a profesional camera to make sure nothing goes wrong. This couple were amazing. We negotiated an hour and change since is what usually ceremonies last, and the highlight video edited after. They streamed from the time my husband got of the car until we both left, they followed us to the first pictures spot to make sure they had extra shots to prepare a nice highlights vídeo. Any other company would have left after ceremony ended and would work with what they had, but this couple no, they took extra pictures shots didn’t care about the extra time it took, they stick around and took all their needed shots working together with our photographer. I even hace them a dance that we recorded the day before to show after the ceremony in the same live streaming and they had no problem adding it. All our friends and family were able to see the live stream if in their tv and the image was impecable so the sound and 3 cameras. I didn’t get my highlight video yet I am sure will be perfect. Do yourself a favor and hire this vendor, you won’t regret it, we’d give them 10 starts If We could... -

The best team — hands down! The moment my husband and I met Ruth and Garry, we knew our search ended there. We hit it off right away and we just knew that we would have a great time working with them. They are an amazing and very down to earth couple. Very talented and hilarious, too! They are with you every step of the way from your first day of planning to your big day. They captured our special day so beautifully and I still cry when I watch our engagement video and SDE. I have worked in post-production for years (yes, over 2 decades) and Jorge really gave time to look for the best wedding videographers that he thinks would fit my standards 🤨😆 . Then, he showed me Sky Cinema’s reel and asked me to sit down and give time to check on them. When I saw just the first video he played, I knew they know what they're doing and told Jorge ”this is our videographer”. My eyes were trained for years to see which is beautiful and fits for airing that’s why it's easy for me to know what I like. Jorge then presented another videographer, after a few seconds of watching, I told him ”I like the sky cinema, please let’s get them. I don't care if I don't have a photographer, MUA, or even eat at a cheap restaurant ... I can sacrifice all of the other vendors but not the videographer” so we hired them. My first conversation over the phone with Ruth made me feel that we knew each other for long and made me feel even better. Every time I texted Ruth of my queries, she explains them very well and at times that I felt bad on another issue, she recommends something better so I need not worry. I know we have found the right team and we're so blessed that sky Cinema was available on our wedding day. Our first meeting, she helped us with random suggestions for us to consider. It was basically getting to know your type of meeting. Then I always text her and she always gets back with a suggestion and even recommends other vendors. They always make us feel better in everything, where to meet, which shot is better, etc. They’re very professional and at the same time you could feel how they are passionate about their work. I just so love them! They made us feel comfortable during the shoot. Worth every penny!
Also, one thing that sets them apart from other vendors ... They are also couple who knows the feeling of getting married that’s why it's easy for them to make couples happy.
It’s over a week now and that’s how fast time flies, watching the Same Day Edit really brings me to the day of the wedding. I kept on telling Jorge that I want to get married again after watching haha! He said yes! So, Ruth... be ready.
To Gary and Ruth... Thank you for capturing who we are as a couple, for capturing how we feel and best of all for making us very happy. You complete our wedding. We so love you! -

My jaw dropped to the floor as I was watching the same-day-edit (SDE) video with my wife and our family and friends right next to us on the stage of the venue. Everyone's eyes were glued to the screens. I couldn't believe how they did it, especially with all the outrageous requests from my wife. But they did it amazingly and on a very restrained schedule. Did I mention these guys just came overnight from another wedding in another state and they barely had any sleep? Ruth was hesitant to take the job when we spoke to her. We kind of had to beg her to take the job and I'm so glad and grateful that she did. The SDE video was spectacular and it was one of the highlights during the evening. We and our family and friends were very impressed.
We told her what we wanted in the video. We put our trust in her ability and artistic vision. Ruth and a team of Garry, Mickey, and John helped us to capture every moment on our special day. The team was very friendly, detailed-oriented, and efficient. They knew exactly what kind of shots they need. And most importantly, they were very warm and accommodating to us and our guests.
We are very glad that we got Ruth and her team as our videographers. We get a lot of compliments for the SDE video from our family and friends. We will happily recommend them to our family and friends in the future. -

Ruth, Garry and the Sky Cinema Films team created the most BEAUTIFUL video content for our wedding that took place on 4.13.19. In having a few phone calls/Facetime calls with Ruth, my husband Brian and I felt so comfortable in having Ruth and Garry be our videographers for our wedding. Not only were they professional, but they were so kind and compassionate. Ruth and Garry truly listened to our vision and captured every single moment from our wedding and turned it into truly cinematic video content that we will have forever! All couples want a specific video and Ruth and Garry were able to create such a classic and elegant video that embodied our personalities perfectly!
On the day of, Ruth, Garry and their third shooter John, came prepared, on time, and ready to create! Ruth and John were with me while I was getting ready and Garry was with my husband while he was getting ready. Ruth and John knew exactly how to work around the many people that were at my home getting ready and they were able to get right to work asking for our rings, invitation, jewelry, etc. Ruth even rode to the church with my dad and I and she was able to capture amazing footage!
While at the church, Ruth, Garry, and John worked seamlessly with our photographer and knew exactly what to do and where to go! Having the drone footage was unbelievable and we are so glad that we chose to have that as a part of our package! While at the reception, we knew that Ruth, Garry, and John would capture amazing content, and they sure did! The Sky Cinema team created a BEAUTIFUL and fun-loving 30-second teaser as well as a STUNNING 6-minute video that blew us away!!!!

Overall, Ruth, Garry, and John were so personable and wonderful to work with. We were so comfortable with them and knew that we made the absolute best choice possible and if we could do it all over again, we would not change a thing!
