  The BEST!!! (...& from a camera-shy bride!)

  From a camera-shy bride who almost always dislikes looking at photos of herself and especially having to pose for photos... I would give Stephanie more stars if I could!!!
  
  ***Before the wedding - Seeking out a wedding photographer and anticipating the wedding photography gave me the MOST anxiety out of all the vendors / wedding planning. Especially after attending a few weddings and seeing up-close how much energy is demanded of the bride in terms of taking photos... then seeing her disappear for much of the rest of the event...
  
  But I was drawn to Stephanie's portfolio when I was searching for a west coast photographer (online, from the east coast) because of her phenomenal candids. Yet even after meeting Stephanie before the wedding (who is exceptionally sweet, by the way, a great listener, with a very poetic way of looking at the world that makes your wedding feel even more special... She took a trip to Santa Barbara to check out my outdoor venue with me before the big day, which was so nice of her, and also studied the video I sent her of us rehearsing our choreographed first dance, she's very professional!), I was anxious about wedding photos.
  
  ***Day of - After literally helping me into my wedding dress, Stephanie breezed through so many shots - some stagey, others less so - of the bridal party, then at the venue whizzed straight through the family portraits at my urging when we were behind schedule so that, as I had wanted, all the staged portraits were done when cocktail hour kicked off our wedding at 3. And after that, besides some quick shoots with my husband that were actually quite fun to do (Stephanie can direct efficiently, she can also "go with the flow" with improvising), it barely felt like she and Tom were even there!
  
  ***THE PHOTOS - So stunning. Ridiculously so. The "posed" photos that we rushed through far surpassed my ("realistic") expectations, and I love so many of them, they're beautiful. But the candids, just wow. She caught SO MANY moments - different guests just "vibing" with their friends, the two moms crying, a cool shot of the "selfie" friend doing a huge bridal party selfie before the ceremony, a spontaneous family huddle with my parents and siblings during dinner, lots of emotional hugs, LOTS of laughing and joyous dancing... I got to re-live so many special little moments of the day all over again, going through the candid footage. Our families love the pictures too (hubby's grandfather, who's seen so many family weddings, even made several comments about how much he liked the "style" of our photos!)
  
  And the wedding details - the flowers, cake, rings, uncle's custom wine and cute wine label, etc. - that I / my family put so much effort into planning - now I get to have Pinterest-worthy visuals of them forever. All of this at an outdoor venue with tricky lighting where Stephanie had never done an event before!
  
  Oh, and her editing style was perfect. The footage wasn't over-softened or over-styled, as I see in so many wedding photos these days, so that our gorgeous outdoor park venue with its dappled lighting, and the color palette that my mom and I selected so carefully for dresses and flowers etc., really shone.
  
  Tl;dr - If you want flattering but also magical, vibrant, organic (or staged / directed) wedding photos, with an authentic but professional photography experience - go with Stephanie!!!

  Amazing!

  Stephanie is hands down the best photographer you could ask for. We opted for her package that includes an engagement session. Both engagement pictures and wedding pictures were breathtaking!!! You will not be disappointed, I promise you.

  Professional, talented, and a lovely person!

  We loved working with Stephanie, and we were so glad we got her as our photographer.
  
  She was quick and professional and very personable from our first email contact all the way through to the end, and her turnaround time was lightning fast too!
  
  Looking through our wedding album we were delighted by how much of the ceremony and how many angles she was able to capture just on her own — truly a pro! — and we also enjoyed the little surprises she snuck in there of cute and funny moments we otherwise would have missed. The best part of all were the candids — she has a real eye for capturing people in the moment, and we feel like when we look back over these photos now it lets us really relive the event. We will treasure these photos forever.

  One of the kind wedding photographer!!!

  We love and appreciate Stephanie so much!!! She was the best decision that we made for our wedding. I would use her for any photo need in the future! We met on a wedding affair and her caring, friendly and sweet personality clicked with me immediately. She is a phenomenal photographer. She is very experienced. She loved and respected our cultural heritage and captured our beautiful traditional outfits and our wedding ritual. She was fast but never compromise the quality. For the family portrait, we were really short on time, but Stephaine kept the "family list" with her and made sure to capture all group members. She was very detail-oriented!!!Trust me!!! In one of the "dipping" shot, my veil kept falling off, she was so patient and we probably did more than five times for that shot. In addition, she would make sure that everyone in the photo line up nicely. I didn't realize the importance of this little detail until I went to my friend's wedding. She captured many little precious moment without us noticing it. Those were the best shots! Stephaine genuinely cares, that's really what made her so special!

  Truly Magical

  Stephanie did such an amazing job on our wedding photos she was very thorough and helped us capture exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. She was even able to capture amazing pictures of a not so happy flower girl in between the tears. Not only were our family and solo pictures great but the reception photos really encapsulated the moment and how much fun everyone was having! Thank you so much Stephanie we will cherish your work for the rest of our lives!

  Stephanie is an exceptional photographer who saved our last-minute pre-wedding photoshoot. Overall, her talent, professionalism, and dedication to making us happy set her apart. We highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again.
  
  When we met Stephanie on the day of the photoshoot, my partner and I were on the verge of a nervous breakdown after an awful experience with our hair and makeup stylist (who did the makeup and hair completely different from what we agreed on, and ran almost half an hour behind schedule). However, Stephanie's calm and reassuring presence helped us relax and fully enjoy the day despite all the chaos.
  
  One of the things that stood out to us the most was how approachable and accommodating Stephanie was throughout the entire process. She was always willing to listen to our requests and preferences, and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with the final product. Her dedication to capturing the perfect photos and poses for us was truly impressive. We truly appreciated her openness and transparency throughout the entire experience.
  
  In addition, Stephanie brought along a beautiful veil and other items that we could use for the photoshoot, which was a thoughtful and generous touch. Her attention to detail and creativity shone through in every aspect of the shoot, and the results were absolutely stunning.

  Secrest Success

  Stephanie was amazing to say the least! On time and on schedule with everything we discussed prior, making it easy for our entire wedding party to get in and get out. Her Sunset photos put it over the top for me…needless to say, please call her, talk to her, let her know what you want, and you’ll get it!

  Great memories captured by the BEST

  If you're looking for a great photographer, Stephanie is the person for you. She was fantastic!
  We were so grateful to have Stephanie and Edwin take both our engagement and wedding photos. Our wedding was postponed like many others and we were so grateful they were flexible with our new date. They really helped out with the wedding and were super friendly to all our loved ones and was always there when we wanted a moment captured. They both captured each and every event from our wedding day from our ceremony to s'mores and even snowballs!
  The pictures turned out AMAZING with a super quick turnaround! We will be keeping these pictures to remember the night for the rest of our lives, thank you!!!

  Kind & Fun

  Stephanie was absolutely wonderful with the entire process. She gives off lovely vibes and helped us plan our wedding timeline. For our wedding day the weather was out of control! We were so cold and the wind was blowing us over. I was so worried that our pictures would reflect something other than the love we felt for each other that day. After seeing the pictures, we were so pleased. She battled the elements and truly caught our emotions of that day. I love our photos.

  Stephanie is very nice, patient and professional as a photographer. We had a great time with her from discussing our wedding plan, showing our dresses to wedding photos we like. She always listened to our expectations carefully and gave us useful comments. She also kept confirming with us about some details which makes us feel she really values her work and our wedding.

  Wedding 3/9/23

  I'm a bit late to writing this review but we were absolutely thrilled with Stephanie.
  
  She is professional, punctual, personable, reliable, and so creative. Her prices are transparent and fair, she communicated every step of the way and payment was easy and straightforward.
  
  Stephanie bring a ton of experience to the table and she was integral to helping me hash out my vision for our wedding day. I didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator but Stephanie was so great about bouncing ideas off of each other until we got what felt true and authentic to my partner and me. The weather threw a lot of our plans off course but Stephanie didn't skip a beat. We still had an amazing day and our photos are magic!
  
  Aside from her technical skills, she has amazing people skills too. All of my guests loved her. We got so many positive comments from our guests about how great she was at directing everyone and keeping it light and fun. Over 6 months later we're still receiving rave reviews about how much my guests loved her. I absolutely adore Stephanie and would happily recommend her to my dearest loved ones looking for someone to photograph their wedding day. She's the best!

  Absolutely perfect!

  She was amazing! She caught the most perfect moments without me even realizing they were the photos I would end up loving the most.   We worked with Stephanie for not one but two weddings - our small pandemic ceremony in 2020 and our larger reception in 2021. Stephanie beautifully captured both of our special days with absolutely stunning photos. We love the couples portraits as well as the more candid group shots and have many of them hanging in our home. She was also so kind, warm and generous with her time and advice. She helped us and our families feel comfortable with professional photography with her suggestions for poses and locations. We would highly recommend working with Stephanie!

  Stephanie was our photographer and she was excellent! We wholeheartedly recommend her. She made us feel comfortable and is a wonderful, sweet person.
