  When Sandy sends documents for licensing, etc., be sure to read, complete and compile paperwork, as she sends only what needs to be done and isn't frivolously with your time. She and her staff were ahead of the game, quietly facilitating the project. Sandy sorted glitches, made fabulous recommendations, problem solved, put up with us, used resources wisely, suggested other businesses who dovetailed our style.
  
  Sandy has a GREAT sense of humor! If you're looking for levity, attention to detail, and fun, Sandy is the "Go to" professional.

  I worked with Sandy for my wedding in Vieques, PR in December 2016. Working on a tiny island definitely brings it's unique challenges, as the attitude tends to be more lax than here in the states. However, Sandy made it easy. If I had a problem, she fixed it, and she was forth coming about the cost, and level of difficulty that everything I wanted would require. Definitely would recommend working with her if you're thinking of getting married on the islands, or anywhere else!

  Sandy handled all of the details for our wedding and everything was absolutely perfect! We didn't have to worry about a thing, Sandy was on top of everything. It rained the entire week of our wedding, yet somehow we had clear skies for our ceremony on Sun Bay...she definitely pulled some strings for this to happen!

  Imagine planning a vow renewal in a place you've only seen on television and in photos. Now, take everything you think could go wrong and forget it!! Sandy Malone's Weddings and Events are the perfect people to plan your destination wedding/event. They work really hard to make sure your vision is portrayed and you are completely satisfied with all of your decisions. I'd recommend them to anyone planning something special that just has to be perfect.

Since I had a small wedding I went with the DIY package. This was an excellent package because I like to be involved in my plans. Sandy listen carefully and connected the right people for everything. Because I lived in Florida and not Vieques I worried about how everything would come together. Every time I called or emailed Sandy she assure me it would be perfect! I had a few scary moments, however speaking to Sandy made everything alright, and I felt better knowing she was there for us. Sandy was true to her word and everything was beautiful. If you are planning a wedding in the Caribbean I would chose Vieques, and there is no one better to help you plan your wedding than Sandy Malone. She is truly amazing! I would like to come back one day and renew our vows...and I would contact Sandy, I highly recommend her if you want your wedding day to be incredible with lasting memories.

  We highly recommend Sandy Malone! Sandy helped us to achieve exactly what we had hoped for – a very simple private wedding ceremony in our favorite vacation place in Vieques. It would have been challenging for us to make that happen on our own and from a distance, but Sandy handled it all with ease and enthusiasm. Sandy offers extensive wedding planning services for large and complex events, so we were especially pleased that she would help us with just the essentials of providing an officiant and navigating the marriage license requirements. She was attentive and responsive to our needs, and dealing with her was a delight. Thanks to Sandy, we had a thoroughly relaxing vacation and a wedding that was perfect for us! Kathleen & Rob

  Sandy was an absolutely pleasure to work with! We had a very small ceremony so I was concerned about contacting a wedding planner for such basic services, but Sandy was so helpful regardless of how little I needed. She arranged for such a wonderful officiant and made sure our ceremony was exactly what we had in mind by sending an extensive planning guide to choose the parts we wanted. As a graphic designer I was a little petrified of what we would get in terms of a wedding photographer, but the gentleman she chose was AMAZING and perfectly captured our quirky little wedding. The pictures turned out beautiful and one even made it to The Huffington Post :)
  
  Planning a wedding on a small island like Vieques can be intimidating. If you are planning on getting married there (which I highly recommend) your first contact should absolutely be Sandy Malone.

  As a generally indecisive bride, I couldn't have had better help than Sandy. She helped us prioritize and create a vision for the wedding. Every vendor we used surpassed our expectations. I knew when we worked with Sandy, we would have high quality vendors. They were all better than I imagine. When you get married in a place where nothing runs on time, to have a prompt ceremony without feeling rushed is a miracle! We watched that happen!
  
  We had fun, our guests had fun, and Vieques is amazing! I couldn't be any happier; it was all better than I could have imagined.

  Sandy Malone Weddings and Events absolutely made our wedding day perfect! It was so nice to have someone there with experience and expertise to help us plan but also to help execute on the day of the wedding! Not only did we feel taken care of but our guests also had an amazing time and we could not have done that without Sandy and Bill!

  Sandy is your go to girl for planning your get away ceremony! She listened to exactly everything I wanted and made it all happen! We didn't have to lift a finger. Very personable and has great experience and connections for all your needs. We highly recommend her. She made our big day perfect!

  I used Sandy's DIY wedding consulting service and literally could not have planned my wedding without her. The island of Vieques is relatively remote and resources are limited. When after a few months I wasn't getting anywhere with my wedding planning, I realized I needed to hire someone with an intimate knowledge of the island and the talented people living and working there if I was actually going to have a wedding. Sandy has that in spades! Aside from her knowledge of the island, impeccable reputation and professionalism Sandy was able to translate my non-traditional wedding cluelessness into some of the best parties our friends and family have ever attended. Most importantly, she's a straight shooter and will let you know when something is out of the question (because of the restrictions of planning a week long event on a tiny island) and when something is close to impossible but then she'll get it done anyway (a taco truck rehearsal dinner for example). Her communication was always on point and our events went off without a hitch!

She is realistic and upfront about what can and cannot be done. She is also honest about the budget and will help you determine where you would like to spend and where you may want to cut back. She works hard and does all she can to make your special day everything you hoped it would be. Her team is great and gets the job done. I highly recommend Sandy and her team.
