S&J Catering, Top Notch Service

I am still overwhelmed by the top notch catering and service provided by S&J Catering. They far exceeded all expectations and delivered above and beyond!! The food, presentation, service and professionalism were absolutely SUPERB!

Overall Great Experience

We used S&J for our daughter's wedding at the Miramar Cultural Center. It was very convenient, as they are the in-house caterers and they know the building and the staff. They had a good choice of food and linens that matched our themes. Melissa was very responsive to our questions and we had no issues. They did a great job with setup on the day of and I received a lot of feedback that the food and service was good. We had two different entree selections, along with some vegetarian and children's. Overall, we were very happy with S&J. The cost included the venue, food, drinks and linens.

S & J Catering should be your choice of caterers. My son and daughter-in-law booked them for their wedding this past July and they had no regrets. The staff were very accommodating and patient. Several changes were made and they had no difficulty accommodating those changes. They delivered the food on time, presentation was super and the food was simply delicious. Select S & J Catering if you want your guests to be talking about your events forever.

Tracy and I could not have been more pleased with the service and quality from S+J Catering. Our wedding was a breakfast wedding. From the preplanning, to the event, the service and quality was simply outstanding. When I saw them setting up that morning, I knew all would be just great, and it was even better than that. What first interested me while looking to book a catering company for my daughter's wedding was the menu items. Items with Caribbean and Latin flavors that truly represent South Florida.

I was impressed by S &J's professional and efficient way in which they handled everything from the first phone call, billing, tasting, changes that had to be made along the way, and finally the fabulous food at the wedding. I can't say enough about how elegant, courteous and thoughtful all of their staff was.

The Owner, Jackie, went and visited the venue 2 days prior to make sure they could set up properly. This action saved the day. There was a huge problem that was resolved thanks to their diligence. In the end everything was perfect and beautiful.

I specially recommend Natalie Green. Natalie is knowledgeable, experienced, calm and wonderful. She coordinated the day and made sure everything was the way my daughter wanted. This was the wedding my daughter dreamed of. I can't thank them all enough, and recommend them highly.

I have used S & J Catering twice in the past couple years and have been 100% satisfied each time. Our guests could not stop telling us how great the food was both times! The staff is truly amazing, courteous, professional and friendly! If we have another big family event, I will go straight to S & J Catering!

S&J Catering were the caterers for two of my events that were held in February and April. My daughters celebrated a sweet 16 and a wedding within months.

The Sweet 16 was a last minute catering job after I couldn't find what my daughter requested. S&J stepped in an did a remarkable job. The menu consisted of burgers, chicken pasta, fries and desserts. They exceeded my expectation!! This fairy book themed celebration is still being talked about and S&J helped.

The wedding.....oh my gosh!! Beginning with the cocktail hour and ending with the last dance, there wasn't anything left out. The bar service, waiters, food, everything was Supeb. They made certain that every guest was satisfied. The food was tasty with a southern/Caribbean flair.

I had attended previous events that had been catered by S & J and this is how I knew that I wanted them to cater my daughter's wedding. We met with Jackie and the Chef and they put together a menu that was out of this world. The appetizers were so good that the bride asked them to pack a to go box for them and they, of course, did so. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Everyone was raving about it. The open bar was well stocked and the bartenders were awesome. The service was also great. I never thought I would be able to afford such an event but they made it happen. I am extremely grateful to them for making my daughter's special day perfect.

I can't say enough good things about S & J! The entire process was seamless. Any questions I had were answered immediately and all the employees were very professional. One the day of the event, I was surprised at how organized and amazing the service and food was. ALL of my guests were raving about the staff and food. Seriously, try their Tropical Chicken Croquettes, you won't regret it. I am so happy I invested in their services for my event. WORTH EVERY PENNY! I look forward to working with them again in the future.

S&J food and level of service was top-notch! We live really far and they never hesitated to meet us after hours for tastings,were always available and were super quick to respond. They even took a long drive to our venue to make sure they had the layout mapped out beforehand so there was no surprises for them or us. They genuinely were excited about our venue and doing the event! Jackie kept us on track with our schedule to ensure that everything she needed to make our day was completed. Everything was absolutely superb, the value and quality for the money cannot be beat! Our food was amazing and plentiful - the DJ kept reminding folks to eat as the flow of food never stopped! So many of our guests made it a point to let us know that the food was plentiful, tasted great,that they loved the presentation, that the bar had great (strong) pours!! and best of all that the servers were really nice and attentive! They rearranged their schedule so they could do our wedding and we are eternally grateful. They are just really genuinely nice people and we immediately felt comfortable with them. Thank you S&J for all you did to make our night the best ever!

A year is a long time to plan a wedding and this was one pleasant year planning food and drinks with S&J Catering. Chef and his wife, Jacqueline the catering director are gems. I was so pleased with the service the S&J team provided before, during, and even after our event. Being from a catering background myself, I know the stresses of dealing with last minute requests, and "oh I forgot x-y-z..." and "while you're at it..." but they handled it all wonderfully. Their communication was also fantastic (actually a big reason I chose to go with S&J over another local company) and they were very responsive.
Come event day when they arrived, their team/army quickly went to work and helped us with setting up other event areas. They even accommodated a request to slightly increase food about 6 hours before the event.

I absolutely look forward to working with the team at S&J again soon!

Jacqueline's communication with me (a nervous bride) was awesome, she was attentive and understanding. The food was outstanding, we heard compliments from most of our guests on how great the food was!! :)

Jacqueline and Spencer were highly recommended to us by the Miramar Pembroke Pine Regional Chamber of Commerce. Since our first meeting with them we felt that they were the people we were looking for. At a reasonable price they delivered excellent food and service. At the end, they even provided us with six table cloths without any extra charge.
We loved to meet them and their staff, and… no doubts about it, we will hire them again and again when needed.

We are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with S&J Catering for our wedding! Jackie was such a pleasure and made all necessary adjustments to fit our needs and budget, even having to change things a few times. Our guests were nonstop raving about the food at the wedding and in the days following as well, from the hor d'oeuvres to the stations. Simply put - S&J is fabulous.

TOP NOTCH! The food was superb. All of my family and friends raved about the food and service all night long. "The Pad Thai, the Pad Thai!" when asked their favorite food of the evening. I couldn't wait to try each of the menu items, as my guests kept telling me how amazing everything tasted. Jackie spent a considerable amount of time with me choosing the perfect menu. She was patient, and listened well - and her suggestions were all spot on perfect.

The service was impeccable. Her HUGE team she brought with her we classy, observant and helpful. When my veil got knocked off as my maid of honor was two seconds from walking down the aisle, S&J's team was there to help put it back on, before I could even think about panicking. They were right there.

My favorite part was the displays - not of just of the food - but how they set up all the tables of decorations with creativity, elegance and style. S&J is beyond catering - they designed the entire evening.

Don't worry about wedding/event size, S&J said YES to a smaller wedding, keeping the costs right within my budget, when other vendors said no (or up-charged considerably).

A MUST!

If you are having an event in South Florida - call S&J. They will knock your socks off.

There were a few chefs in attendance, they and all our quests commented on the efficient service, hot food presented and pleasant service people. To serve 90 people with such efficiency was amazing. Jacqueline answered all my questions promptly and pleasantly, even some questions I had not thought to ask. She was a tremdous help and certainly allowed me to enjoy our party and all my guests.

The S&J Caterers went above and beyond anyone I had met before. They truly became a part of my family with ideas and suggestions to make the happiest day of my life so special. The food was out of this world; my guest raved about it and the staff was so professional!
