Price of arrangement and professionalism
I was sent an arrangement by my mother today after returning back home from a knee replacement. She ordered the floral arrangement from Ruth Messier Florist on Boy Scout Dr, Fort Myers Florida. My mom is staying with me while I recover. The arrangement was delivered and she asked the driver if that arrangement was from her? The arrangement was full of carnations and a few roses. Looked like an arrangement from Walmart, especially from a Florist or the price that was paid. I haven't seen flowers with carnations placed in a floral arrangement since I was in high school in the 80s. She paid $70.00 for this piece worth about $30.00. When she asked if the piece was sent by her? His incredibly off colored response was it was because of inflation, and does she expect the Florist to eat up the cost. That was nothing, compared to what he started proclaiming. He told me to call Washington and it was the Presidents and the administrations fault. I couldn't believe what I was hearing from him. I told him to stop making it political, and he continued with his off colored ranting. I asked him to leave my home. I called Ruth Messier Florist to complain, and proceeded to ask for the owner or manager. I was put on hold and the same voice came back saying she was on of the management, like I wouldn't recognize her voice. I proceeded my moms disappointment with the arrangement, to only get a poor response. I asked to speak to her, and tell her what the delivery driver told me, to only be told she would speak to him, not any kind of apology. I honestly hope no matter what political party any person belongs to would find hi response any bit politically correct. I personally would never recommend this Florist for both reasons above.
