Just got our engagement photos back from Roxy…ahh they are SO beautiful! I get goosebumps looking at them. They are above and beyond our expectations….she is amazing! She has incredible attention to detail and is so artistic in all of her shots. She is so passionate about what she does and that comes across in all of her work. During our engagement session she made a comment about what an easy-going bride I was…I responded that no, I’m really not, but I just know that I can trust her 100% and don’t have to worry about a thing so that I CAN be an easy going bride. She is so funny and easy to get along with which made Rob and I really comfortable as we had never taken professional photos before. We “interviewed” several different photographers before selecting ours, and Roxy stood out way above the rest. Rob and I are absolutely floored…you are so talented…thank you, thank you! We CANNOT wait until the wedding!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding photographer. Roxana's photos have a style that stands out among a crowd...literally! I knew I wanted her to be our photographer the day I met her and viewed some of her work at a wedding show. Her photos have a beautifully bright, yet dreamy motif, offering a unique artistic element to wedding photography. She also has the ability to capture moments in the most genuine way. Another thing that stood out for me was Roxana's fun, yet relaxed and natural demeanour. Roxana's personality while photographing us offered both the enthusiasm we craved and the ease we needed on our big day. In addition to her amazing talent and stunning personality, Roxana went above and beyond by offering us advice, guidance and support as we planned out our wedding day. We had a destination wedding in Mexico, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating through the planning process.
I am confident in saying that Roxana was a perfect fit to our wedding team, and my husband and I are so thrilled that we were able to bring her to Mexico with us. We also count ourselves lucky to now call her a friend! Roxana is a one of a kind photographer, and I would highly recommend her for any milestone event, especially for a wedding, whether it be local or out-of-town.

We are very glad to have found the photographer we love! Roxy is very talented and professional. She has an artistic eye that's why I chose her over all the photographers we interviewed. When I saw the photos on her website, I knew that she is the ONE! I was right, she captured the genuine emotions on our engagement and wedding photos! So if you like your engagement and wedding photos to be memorable, Roxy is the girl!!

Roxana was great. We were overseas, planning our wedding in our hometown Vancouver and Roxana was super communicative and flexible. It made us feel incredibly relaxed going into the wedding. We knew it would be a bit challenging for her because we hadn't done an engagement shoot and she didn't really know us or our personalities but very quickly we got into a groove and we were having fun! I guess that's the best part of working with her, it's that you have fun getting your pictures done. She really feeds off of the energy of the couple and take pictures that are reflective of you, your personalities and the environment you're in. I've been in other wedding parties and felt awkward and fake during photoshoots but with Roxana, my husband and I felt free to be ourselves and really enjoyed the experience.We loved the pictures we got and love the system she uses to access them. It made for sharing with friends and family so super easy. I loved having Roxana has our photographer and couldn't have imagined our wedding without her.

We are so happy with our photos- Roxana did amazing work! Everyone who's seen them has said nothing less than amazing things about them. She was a pleasure to work with. And amazing customer service. She was helpful and fast to respond by email. We got married in the peak season yet she managed to process a few photos for us to show at a reception the following weekend which was so considerate. And we received the whole package in good timing. I would not hesitate to recommend her to someone! She does beautiful work at a very fair price.

We stumbled across Roxy after our photographer cancelled on us a couple months before our wedding and are we ever glad we did! After contacting Roxy, she agreed to meet with us even though she was very busy the month of our wedding. We explained to her how our photographer had cancelled on us and how we hadn't even had an engagement shoot yet! Knowing the bind we were in, she agreed to fit us into her already hectic schedule and we had our awesome engagement shoot done within weeks! On the day of our wedding, Roxy arrived early to make sure she got lots of shots of the venue and details. She was very professional and personable throughout the day and seemed to blend in with the guests. A few guests even commented on how they barely noticed her bustling around. She gave direction well and made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout day.
Once we received our wedding photos, we were over the moon happy with the results! There is no doubt that Roxy is very talented and everyone that saw our photos agreed. It has been great seeing her fine tune her skills and talents since then and I look forward to viewing more of her work in the upcoming wedding season.
Our interaction with Roxy did not stop after our wedding day. Since then, I have met with her to catch up a few times and gotten to know her on another level. I now consider her a friend and have a feeling a lot of her past clients do too. ?

One of the first things we decided early on in our wedding planning stage was that photography was very important to us. After all, it would be one of the few things from the wedding that would remain with us forever. During our first meeting with Roxana, her openness and honesty instantly convinced us she was the one to hire, almost as much as her obvious talent. We both had a specific sense of what we wanted in our photos, but after meeting her and seeing more of her work, we felt confident in trusting that she would deliver not only on what we wanted, but even on things we couldn’t even imagine. Suffice it to say our trust was well placed. Throughout the planning stages and afterward (we also hired her to create an album for our wedding photos), Roxana was always willing to work with us on where to meet up and was always on time and well prepared with questions and advice. On our wedding day, she was absolutely amazing. Her friendliness when we first met her was equally matched by her professionalism and organization when it came time to photograph. Roxana has a remarkable sense of style and eye for composition. She always puts herself in position to capture every scene in the most flattering light and from the best possible angle. When we saw the photos, not only were we overjoyed by their quality, but our friends and family as well could not stop commenting on how beautiful they turned out. In her photos Roxana captured the heart and soul of our wedding. Anyone looking at them who may not have been there would be able to see what we were feeling at that specific moment in time. Years from now when we look back on it, we will able to relive the joy of that day through the images she took. We could not have found a better photographer to work with. Her friendliness put us at ease; her timeliness and reliability earned her our trust and respect; and ultimately her photographs left us eternally grateful.

We were so fortunate to have found Roxana to be our photographer for the wedding. A photographer friend of ours told us that a friend of hers knew of Roxana through professional circles and recommended her to us. We saw her website and really liked the style of her photographs. When we finally met Roxana, we were impressed by her photography style and her unique way of taking photographs for each couple that made it seem individualized.

Roxana is very honest, personable, always responded to our emails/texts promptly and did everything she promised to us. As soon as we saw our engagement photos on the little screen on her camera, we knew that picking Roxana was a really good decision. Both of us were awed how good the photos looked on the camera, however when you looked around, none of the charm that was caught on her photographs was apparent, she saw things that we couldn't and that is what makes her special. We used her photographs of our engagement for our wedding guest book which received a lot of compliments and people still ask us about it.

Roxana was amazing on our wedding day and did a fantastic job with the photographs. She was there early in the morning and stayed longer than the allotted time we had hired her for, something she said she might do when we first met her. She was very helpful, flexible, quick thinking and had an amazing eye to take photographs.

The best compliment I can give Roxana is she has a wonderful ability to make us feel like we are her only clients and we always leave impressed by her creativity, even down to the beautiful little box she made for us with our wedding photos in it. She is extremely honest to a fault business wise, but it is also one of her more endearing charms. We will definitely use her services for our future needs and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone that asks.

The pictures that Roxana gifted us with are incredible. I can't believe how breathtakingly gorgeous they are, and so many of them! Ian and I had so much fun last night pouring over all the photos, reliving the day over again. Everyone that we have shown your photos to have been blown away with the quality and attention to detail. If we ever hear of anyone needing a photographer, your name will be given the highest praise.

I would highly recommend Roxy for your photography needs. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, yet personable, photographer. Roxy made us feel relaxed for both our engagement and wedding shoots, which made for beautiful photos. Roxy is truly a talented photographer. Roxy took so many amazing photos of our wedding day! Roxy did a fantastic job of capturing our two wedding ceremonies in one day. She was attentive, flexible, helpful, personable, and did absolutely everything she said she would do from pre-wedding day, to staying a bit longer to capture first dances, all the way through to sharing our beautiful photos with us digitally and getting our prints to us in a timely manner. I would trust her with any wedding! Importantly, Roxy also did a great job of listening to what we wanted and getting pictures that were important to us (for friends and family, for example).

Roxana loves her work, and she puts in the extra effort to make things go smoothly and capture what you want. She really wants you to be happy and enjoys working with people. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. We had many many compliments from family about the photos. She has an elegant, soft style that worked perfectly for us. She managed to capture key moments with the perfect shot. Some good friends saw our wedding photos and hired her for their wedding, and they too loved their engagement and wedding photos and were so thankful for the recommendation. She was super fun to be around at the wedding and kept the mood light, and when it came to organizing family for group photos she was all business and got us organized quickly so that we could enjoy the party knowing that she got every photo we wanted. She exceeded all our expectations - we love Roxana!

Roxy did an amazing job for our wedding in Stanley Park. We could not have been happier with how she interacted with us and the guests on our wedding day, with how well prepared she was with advice and suggestions during planning, how she accommodated our interests (and near impossible expectations!) to get couples shots at more than one location throughout the park within the hour long break between ceremony and reception ( somehow she managed to get awesome shots of us in three locations in under an hour!) and of course the quality and range of photos we recieved shortly after the wedding were outstanding. Roxy has a unique, artistic eye which we could tell from her website. Photos are not too contrived and smiles and expressions are authentic to bring out the most flattering pictures. Roxy was generous with her time and fun to work with. She clearly loves what she does. Everyone who has seen our photos can't say enough good things. You won't be disappointed!

Roxana did a wonderful job with our engagement and wedding shoot. She was very friendly and approachable right from the beginning and communicated very well. Her enthusiasm is infectious and we had a fun time working with her. Roxana worked very hard to make sure that our photos were perfect! She was very open to discussing the different themes/styles we wanted for each shoot, as well as the type of photo editing. We really appreciate all that she did for us and are looking forward to working with her again in the future.

Roxy was a fantastic wedding photographer.

First, Roxy was extremely helpful with planning the photography and evening schedule. She pulled the photo shoot plan together in a week's time which speaks highly to her organization, meticulous attention to detail and superb knowledge of photography. Roxy was accommodating, responsive and eager to make our wedding an event we could look back on with great joy.

Most importantly, Roxy made us feel like the only couple in the world while taking our photos. She made it an absolute pleasure to spend an afternoon walking Vancouver dressed for a wedding in the blazing sun... the photos turned out simply amazing, as did our memory of the wedding day.

We found Roxana Albusel through Weddingful and booked her because her portfolio looked great and her prices were so competitive. What we didn't know when we booked her was how down-to-earth she is, how capable she is of putting you at ease and making you feel comfortable having your picture taken. I couldn't have picked a better photographer for my special day. She manages to capture so many gorgeous moments -- often times when you don't even know she's looking. The photos are candid, honest, and so beautiful. I will have those photos for the rest of my life, and I can't express how happy I am for how beautifully the entire event was captured by Roxy. I wasn't just pleased with the pictures she took of me and my husband -- she managed to capture so many great moments of friends and family as well. I found Roxana out of pure luck! I had been searching for a photographer for a while and a friend of mine told me about http://weddingful.com. I went to the site and that is where I found her. I first met her at mine and my husbands engagement shoot. We didnt know what we wanted or how our pictures to look. We just told her we like natural pictures, nothing posey, and we just let her take over. Our pictures turned out great! Then it was finally time for our wedding! Again we didnt give her alot of direction, we just said we want something edgy and urban. She took control, found us great locations and the pictures were amazing! My husband and I always find picture taking really akward but she made it feel very natural and it all just flowed. We had a lot of fun! I will definatley use her again for future shoots :)

~~ My fiance and I hired Roxana for our engagement photo shoot. She will also be doing our wedding pictures (in April, which is coming up very soon!!), trash the dress and any future milestones in our lives. We had never done a photo shoot before and we were really nervous. As soon as we met up with her she reassured us - " Just be yourselves and you will create beautiful pictures".
